Food, price, service... this establishment was sold about a month ago. I went here routinely before it was sold, and this is the first time I've been since it was sold. My meal of two fish fillets, cheese grits, coleslaw, and an unsweet tea, was over $18. The person that rang me up was the person that bought the business, so I assume he knew the prices... I should've known that the quality was not going to be the same as the Pryor owners, because the people that were behind the counter acted like they did not know why they were even there. There were some people that are recognized from the previous owner, but unfortunately , the people fixing the plates for the customers inside did not act like they knew what they were doing. Also, I got my meal to go and when I got to my office... the cheese grits and the fish were put in the same container with no paper barrier so the fish was covered in cheese grits. The fish tasted like it had been fried days before and heated up. It really wouldn't have mattered if it was fresh because it was so salty that I could not eat it. The slaw was in an individual container, but it still was not anywhere near the quality of slaw that one would expect from a professional establishment, or even the slaw I can make at home. It was too salty, and very vinegar tasting. I was absolutely disgusted and furious that I had to pay that exorbitant amount for basically a good glass of unsweet tea. It's sad, because I will not return unless the establishment changes hands again and they can show that they know how to cook and that they care about their customers. read more
