Best Copy Center...ever! A copy center is the type of business you don't think a lot about until you need them. I stumbled upon Fast Imaging after relocating my business to Alameda. The staff is incredibly friendly and responsive. Mandeep is amazing! Besides how pleasant the team is to work with, their work product is the best I've ever experienced from a copy company. They have an amazingly quick turnaround (in most cases, same day for no additional cost) and their prices are incredibly reasonable. Mandeep is great about providing feedback for your design and helping add her special touch when your design needs a little help. They offer an outrageously wide variety of different products--some that you would not even think a copy service would provide (e.g., retractable banners, rubber stamps, etc). I HIGHLY recommend this copy service. Their service is worth you traveling to this location or ordering over the phone if you cannot get here in person. You can trust that the work they produce for you will be correct and timely. Save your smaller 1-2 page print jobs for those other companies if you must, but your most important jobs, send them here. I needed 2 large (36"x48") posters printed within a couple hours and they were able to print them quickly and affordably. They even gave me a couple options to choose from ($12 vs $48 each) instead of trying to get me to buy the more expensive one and the posters turned out great! I had a tall retractable banner printed for my photography business. I decided to get it printed for an event and only had a few days, but Fast Imaging was great. They responded to emails quickly, gave me the dimensions & info that I needed to design the graphic, and after I sent it, confirmed that the file would print well. We attended the Fancy Food Show two weeks ago. Our banner (the star of the show) never made it from Austin. We frantically called around San Francisco to have the banner made in 24 hours. Only one place could promise to have it done--for $750. Yikes! A friend called Mandeep at Fast Imaging. (She has her catering printing done here.) Mandeep was not at the store but promised me Ana would stay late to help, They did the job for under half the price the city guys were gonna charge. AND they turned the order in 12 hours! Came here in a slight panic to print last minute invitations on rather thick card stock. Mandeep printed my prints and offered to have them cut as well. Considering I was planning on spending a whole day cutting, Mandeep understood my situation and how stressful it can be, so she offered to cut my cards for me. The cuts were very precise and she consulted with me on some of the cuts she was not sure about which is always a good sign. She was very accommodating and always made me feel like I was helped even when other customers came in while she was working on my project. I had a complete opposite experience with Fast Imaging. They have always helped customer correct their files, making sure they have the right presentable product for their project. Fast Imaging staff always gives great quality and a fast turnaround. For my wedding we were referred to them by one of our friend and I got great deal with our seating chart without them CHARGING for any layout fees, and in a fast manner. I will be going to Queretaro Mexico in March 2015. For my trip to Mexico I want to have a large map of the city. I found two images online and then called up Fast Imaging to see if they can print them larger and laminate them. One was a jpg and one was a pdf. I needed the posters to fit in my suitcase but wasn't sure what size was best to print at. So I gave them the suitcase dimensions and the two files via email and from that they gave me a suggested size that could be rolled up. The print quality in both came out great. My husband and I found this copy shop after frequenting FedEx Kinko's. We needed to scan a hard copy document and convert it to a fillable PDF file. Where Kinko's looked at us like we were crazy, Fast Imaging ran with the project and got it done within a day. This was a completely invaluable find during my science conference in downtown San Francisco. My research group (4 students, 1 professional scientist) had a total of 5 large science posters to print at the last minute. They were each about 4'x6', and I needed all of them printed before the next morning (and I had arrived as late as 3pm!). The staff (4-5 people, three working that day) was accommodating far above and beyond what any typical business would or could offer. One lady, Mandeep Kaur, stayed there until **8:30pm** with me (3 hours after their scheduled closing time) to specifically help me out -- at about $60/poster, the quality was identical to what we'd get for $150/poster at the actual conference center, and she obviously worked with me to finish the printing in an extremely small time window. In all, I couldn't have asked for better customer service. I will highly recommend this team of printers in Alameda for any projects. I can't recommend these folks highly enough! I recently got laid off, so it's time to kick my networking activities into high gear. I registered for a conference and the day before realized, I had almost no personal business cards. Also, they were pretty outdated. I checked on Yelp and saw that the Berkeley location had really great reviews. I gave them a call, and they said they'd be able to get me a set of business cards the same day. I found a new template, customized it, and sent it off to the Berkeley store. They noticed that I lived a little bit closer to Alameda than Berkeley and asked if I wanted them printed there. That worked out as I needed to get something else done in that center. They sent my file over, and the folks at the Alameda store took over. They prefer that you approve the proof in person, which wasn't a problem. I did that and 20 minutes later I had a set of high quality business cards. They're great. I highly recommend them. I am very displeased with their work. My pages were on my flashdrive and in the sequence I wanted. I also kept asking for the price of the entire job, but kept getting, "I'll give you a discount." When I returned the next day, the price was enormous, but I was given a discount, after my displeasure was clear. However, when I returned home, several of my pages were out of sequence. I am trying to put them together in my notebook, but it is taking time over the confusion, and they do need to be in sequence, so I will have to reprint elsewhere.
