They came out to our office and attempted to find out what was wrong. They tried to configure our system to work better. Then in the end, they offered little end result and a hug bill. We will never use them again. Found another company that is currently doing the work and getting us what we need for way better value. read more

It's important to note that even though they are described on Yelp as "IT Services & Computer Repair," they really specialize in doing this on a larger scale for businesses and such. I discovered the hard way while on a lengthy search for someone to clean up an ancient laptop of ours so we could pass it off to our nephews for their schooling. They are located on the second floor of an office building, which should have been my first clue. I asked the desk clerk how much it would cost to fix my issue and she immediately started asking for all my information - address, email, phone number. I had to cut her off and explain that I was just looking to see how much it was to restore one laptop to factory settings. She quoted me a number just south of $100 and told me I'd have to leave it there, maybe for a couple days. I said "thanks but no thanks." Turns out this is something they'd do at other places for half the cost, or anyone who could follow directions off the Internet could end up doing at home. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I don't like being asked a barrage of questions about my personal information before getting an answer as to my simple question. read more

Fast Break Tech - IT Services & Computer Repair Near Me - Sacramento, California

Recently I moved my domains from another company to Fast Break Tech. The process was a challenge due to some problems with one of our laptops and the company from which they were coming. Steven handled the situation with professionalism and diligence. He worked tirelessly to get it done, kept us informed throughout the process, and taught us about what we were doing. I cannot say enough good things about Steven and his company and their great customer service. I will endorse and recommend them for their work to anyone large or small. Just call them and let them do what you need. read more

Ok, saved us again. Had a problem with one computer and sent them an email regarding the issue. Within 20 minutes Shawn was on the phone wanting to handle. They make you feel like your the only customer and they are on it!! Thanks Ellen. read more

If these guys come to your home, its $100/hour and the minimum is 2 hours of work, so minimum $200 for them to come to your home. Frankly, I think this is a ripoff, considering they came over for 15 minutes and charged us $200. Do yourself a favor, and take your computer to them directly. They're great at what they do, but EXPENSIVE when they come to your home. read more

Steven and his team are great. While they didn't solve my at-home wifi issues immediately, they did a great job in setting up my physical network, and also then coming back twice afterwards when I had connectivity problems. Problems are now solved, and I appreciate them seeing my job through to the end to ensure that everything is/was 100% functional. Speed bumps have a way of happening, but to deal with a company that handles them and fixes them AFTER the original job was completed is very nice. read more

I have been using Fast Break Tech for all my computer and phone needs for the past 10 years. No matter where we choose to buy, there is always a cheaper price, AND you get what you pay for. What is your privacy protection, service & quick response worth to you? The service and staff at FBT is amazing. I completely trust them with my information, they are quick in their repairs and honest as I have ever found. I have referred many others to them & never has one complained, quite the contrary! Once I slipped & used someone else & I was highly disappointed & the problem didn't even get fixed properly. They also help me with other questions & needs I have since I am totally clueless on many things these machines can do! FBT is the only company I will use for all my computer needs. read more

Fast Break has helped our firm with several computer/internet/server issues over the past few years and I have been thoroughly impressed with their attentiveness, professionalism, knowledge and follow-through. Equally important, I know when we call them we will not be price gouged like we had been in the pest with other companies. I highly recommend them. read more

I have been using Fast Break Tech Inc since 2005. Steven and his staff have always been top notch. They always make you feel like no question is too dumb if you're not totally tech savvy. I use Fast Break Tech for my personal computers and my parents also use them. Recently I had a slow hard drive problem and Steven suggested that I upgrade to an SSD drive. Steven explained the problem and gave me a solution and made sure I totally understood before I made my decision and I went with his recommendation. Wow! The difference is 100% faster with no lag time on any of my internet browsing! The work was done in one day. I couldn't be happier. The price was great with no surprises. I would and do recommend Fast Break Tech to family and friends and also to my clients at work! Good job guys!!! read more

Just had a new solid state drive to replace my old hard drive. It was getting slow but it is a great machine and had life left in it. It is now lightening fast and I couldn't be more happy with how quickly they did it. I was done in a few hours and I was back to work. Fast and professional. Thank you!! read more

We brought our Apple Laptop to be repaired. After getting an initial quote of $600, we ended up spending $900. The computer worked for 2 months, then it failed and we had to bring it back. It worked again for 2 more months then it failed again and when I brought it in that time they were unable to recreate the problem, so they informed me they could do nothing more for me. I asked for a refund of parts or labor charges, the owner refused. When I bought a new computer he did agree to put the new software from the old computer onto the new computer for no charge. When I asked how I could recoup some of the $900 he said there was nothing he could do other than try to sell the computer on line for me. He kept the computer for 3 more weeks then informed me there were no buyers, and that I should go on line to sell it for $400-$600. I did as he suggested, listed the computer on Ebay and received a bid for $380 and sent the computer out to the buyer. When the computer arrived, the buyer said it didn't work, same issues the computer had after it was "fixed" by Fast Break. I called again to ask what Fast Break could do to help me recoup some of the $900 I spent. They steadfastly refused to make any concession. Now the computer is in Pittsburgh with the Ebay buyer, I will receive no money for it AND Steven, the owner of Fast Break, refuses to speak to me, the client who paid him $900. So, in the end, apparently Steve made the Fast Break with my $900. I would never do business with a company whose owner is mean, disrespectful, unhelpful and in the end spiteful. The worst part is this computer is my 22 year old daughters, who paid a large chunk of the $900 with the hope she could have a functional computer. Make a Fast Break from this place. Stay away. read more

FastBreakTech has the finest crew in Sacramento. Their promptness, professionalism, cosmic energy and attitude are what to expect in a business entity today. They embrace the kindness and understanding to assist customers in the fastest manner. My computer was down and they have it upgraded in a couple of days, then there is one or two minor programs that need to be fixed and Steven came to rescue right away, working even in the late hours at night and/or the early morning next day, very prompt and efficient. I highly recommend this company. read more

I would NOT recommend this firm. I paid them for years to back up data on my server, but after a virus destroyed it, they were unable to restore my files!!! read more

This company is super.! Great, helpful staff. Friendly and knowledgable. I just wish their office was on the first floor! Loved them.

If you run a business & don't want to hire a full time IT person, this company is for you. As an owner of a store that's open 7 days/week, i need someone reliable, knowledgeable, & prompt. These guys fit the bill. I've used them for over a year & they have addressed all my IT needs, from network problems, to virus solutions, to adding new computers. I use them at home, too. read more

These guys were FANTASTIC! I needed my computer fixed quickly and correctly. Not only did they do a great job, they exceeded my expectations. I brought my computer in for a simple virus removal. Within two hours of dropping it off, they had it diagnosed and recommended some additional items which I had no idea I needed. They removed all the virus's off my computer and restored some lost files I was in desperate need of. They set me up with a great back up service since I had nothing. I had no idea the importance of having a daily backup until they explained that had the virus been any worse, I would've ran the risk of losing all my data. Now my computer backs up daily to a server. My computer was running Windows 7 with 1gb of memory. They not only upgraded my memory for a great price, but they also tweaked my windows 7 to operate A LOT faster. Overall, this was some of the best customer service I have received, EVER. My computers speed increased by at least 60 percent because of these guys. After their fantastic home service, I brought them into my business to see what they could do for us. They took our business to the next level. After a great consult, they set us up with a server, allowing us to run our email through it. It was great knowing that the server was maintaining all our important information securely and backing it up daily. Our original IT guys had our office setup in a way that was not HIPAA compliant, and they did NOT tell us that. Fast Break Tech came in and got us completely secured and we are now in full HIPAA compliance. The effort level of Fast Break Tech is so great I'm having a hard time finding the words to express it. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY OVER AND OVER AGAIN. I am that happy and feel that satisfied. I have really never experienced customer service at this level and I must say that everywhere I go, I still have yet to find someone more concerned and in touch with my needs. I will keep going to Fast Break Tech and will continue to recommend them to anyone who uses a computer, which is pretty much everyone these days. Whether they are in the home or at your business, these guys will not disappoint. read more
