I had issues with my laptop and an external hard drive. Casey patiently walked me through all the steps to back up my laptop and my hard drive to newly purchased hard drives and educated me on backing up everything on Time Line which I never understood. Thank you Casey for not making me feel less than with my issues. I really, really appreciate your help! Kathy read more

Core Care has helped my business thrive for many years. They are excellent at what they do. They get you back up and running.

I went in because my iPhone was having an issue connecting to cellular service. Michelle was super efficient and helpful. She diagnosed that it was an issue with my eSIM that Verizon needed to address. She took the time to write out a work order that made it clear to Verizon that they needed to reset the eSIM so that they didn't give me the runaround. Super helpful and I didn't get charged for anything. It was clear her only goal was to try and solve the problem whatever way she could. Very impressed and will go back here for future issues. read more

I met Casey, the owner of Core Care, after a brief phone call regarding my iPad Pro that wouldn't charge. I needed his help to restore the dead iPad and/or setup the replacement I brought with. He was very generous with his time and attention while he achieved both those ends. At the end of just over 2 hours I left with a thoroughly operational new iPad and the very fair proceeds from the sale of the old one to Core Care. I was and remain impressed with his knowledgeable attention while attempting and succeeding to completely setup the new device including all of the files, apps, settings and even porting the cell service converting from SIM card to eSIM. While we were in wait mode I had the opportunity to watch Casey with several other clients. He demonstrated a significant depth of knowledge on a range of Apple products and was particularly adept at matching his language and explanations to the knowledge and understanding of his customers. Everyone appeared to leave happy, satisfied, respected and well served. Casey provided a remarkably good value. Hours of competent expert attention, complete resolution of my problems, absolute customer satisfaction and a bill for just $50. read more

I came in for a screen replacement. Michelle was super to deal with. This is hands down the best overall customer service experience I have had in a long time! read more

Casey was great with walking me through the process of pulling files and explaining my options for recovery. He was patient and efficient. He was able to pull the file I needed, but I had to eventually dispose of my 2011 Macbook Air because it's time had come. However, I felt very confident that he handled the deletion of data and recycling very professionally. Although I felt like I lost part of me when I had to leave it behind to "move on", I am thankful that I had Casey helping me during this visit. read more

Absolutely thrilled with my experience at Sacramento Core Care. I recently brought my MacBook Pro in for a memory and battery upgrade, and the entire process exceeded my expectations, thanks to the fantastic team here. From the moment I walked in, Michelle at the front desk was a gem. Her warm welcome and professionalism set the tone for what turned out to be a stellar experience. She clearly explained the upgrade options and kept me informed about the progress every step of the way. Albert, the technician who handled my MacBook, was nothing short of exceptional. Despite encountering some unexpected problems and delays, his expertise and dedication shone through. He navigated the issues with remarkable skill and patience, ensuring that everything was addressed thoroughly. Albert's commitment to finding the right solution and his clear communication made me feel confident and valued as a customer. The upgrade was completed to perfection, and my MacBook Pro now runs smoother and more efficiently than ever. It's clear that this team takes immense pride in their work and genuinely cares about their customers. I couldn't be happier with the results or the service I received. Thank you, Michelle and Albert. Thank you Casey (owner) for okay-ing the solution when the DOA drives were delivered to you and fixing everything. I highly recommend Core Care to anyone in need of top-notch computer repair and upgrade services! read more

I have been a customer for 3+ years and cannot speak more highly of this company. Casey and his well trained staff not only resolve the problems you bring to them, but do not give up until they do. Friendly, effective, and outstanding service are among their many assets. I appreciate the patience with us senior users, and their willingness to explain what they are doing and how to repeat the steps once you leave. I highly recommend them and feel more than confident that you will be as pleased as I have been. Truly expert care, service and concern! Becky M. read more

Quick and professional service. I highly recommend. Reasonable prices and quality customer support.

I took my Apple Studio Display in for what I thought was going to be a major problem but turned out to be a minor issue. I had simply plugged the display cable into the wrong port. The staff could have not been more helpful and even carried it in from my car. I could tell from the "vibes" here that they are simply quite reputable. I will definitely return should I ever encounter any issues with any of my Apple devices. On top of it all, they did not charge me for their time and expertise. read more

Excellent speedy service!!!! Managed to replace batteries in 2 ancient Mac laptops 2011 and 2018! Will recommend and be back!

Had a great experience at Core Care for a battery replacement for my old MacBook Air. Had just gone to the Apple Store where they told me my laptop was so old (a mid-2011 MacBook Air) that their system called it "obsolete" and they had no parts for it. Besides the fact that my battery notified me to "replace soon" and it wasn't holding a charge, my laptop works well and I wanted to try to fix it. So, I looked up the nearest verified Apple repair by Arden mall and Core Care came up. Called to see if they could help and they were super responsive. They said I didn't need an appointment so I showed up and they fixed my battery within the hour! Paid $115 for the battery + $50 labor fee, which seems standard. Battery also has a year warranty! Excellent customer service and way cheaper than the Apple's recommendation of "buying a new laptop." read more

What can I say? Casey is simply the BEST!! I visited Core Care today with a very troublesome issue occurring with my MacBook that other repair shops were unable to properly diagnose and repair. I showed my computer to Casey and described the problem and he immediately went to work. His YEARS of expertise truly shined as he expertly navigated my computer, correctly diagnosed the issue, and repaired my computer in the snap of a finger! He is truly a remarkable mind with impeccable customer service. I would recommend Core Care to anyone! Thanks again Casey for fixing my computer and for such an outstanding customer experience!! read more

I almost blew a fuse when the display to my MacBook malfunctioned in the middle of writing a long school paper with a tight deadline. Thankfully a friend recommended me to Core Care. Core care was recommended to me by Apple when my external hard drive gave out. He helped so much. He transferred data to my new hard drive. It he went above and beyond to share with me how to work with my computer better and more efficiently. And he treated me with respect. He was patient when I didn't understand something, more than once. Trust this company totally read more

Those guys are incredible, it's my favorite business in Town. I have been struggling with an 2019 iMac, which is a good machine but which was suffering from being set up with a Fusion Drive. I received a reminder regarding the Apple Care coverage that was expiring a few days ago. They have made a very quick diagnostic on how to improve the performance of my machine, they have been quick on working on it and delivered just as predicted. I wish the best for this business, very professional team and passionate people. Best business in Town, long and prosperous life to them. read more

Second time we used Core Care for Apple support. Cast Ed very helpful in solving my iPhone's struggle to charge. Then we brought two watches that were not holding charges. Again he quickly presented a great option of returning the watches for the cost of a battery replacement. We highly recommend the care and service provided. read more

Great Service! Amazing communication. Fast and reliable. Very professional family owned and operated shop.

I have been having issues with my Mac book pro for over a week and tried to trouble shoot the issue myself, went to Best Buy for assistance and then came to core care. From trying to find the location to the end of my appointment I felt taken care of. Trent was the service coordinator who assisted me in my efforts to figure out my problem. He was very kind and never once made me feel incompetent (although I am.. at least when it comes to tech). My problem was an easy fix and I went on my way. I highly recommend core care to anyone who has tech needs. Do not go to Best Buy. read more

Core Care & Casey's team have been helping me with my Apple needs for years. They are an amazing crew of people and literally go above and beyond to help resolve any issue that comes up. Such an amazing business that we have here in the Sacramento area! read more

I've been using this amazing business for years. The hard drive in my MacBook Air failed, and I bought a replacement. Of course I came here. Why would I go to the Genius Bar? My hard drive was replaced, but the best part was the concern and care that I received from the staff. They made a valiant effort to recover the data on my failed drive, and successfully recovered about half of it. At each step of the process, I got texts and phone calls. Casey, Brian and Albert are consummate professionals. BUT, that's not all! Michelle, the young woman at the front desk, was kind, gracious and fun. The price that I paid for all of this excellence was fair and cost-effective. I received the BEST service, at a reasonable price, and these people were so friendly and professional that I rushed to get home to write this review. I almost hesitate to share them with you--I want them for myself! But if you really need service or repair for your Apple products and you don't want to drive around the mall parking lot and then stand around waiting for someone to come help you at the Apple Store (even with an appointment), please find your way to the coolest folks in Sactown. My MacBook Pro, my first laptop, my BABY, a 2011...was not working and I couldn't fix it myself. I had to do a weird jig of pressing three buttons to start it, the battery went dead quickly...and the black screen if death showed up way too much. A little icon at the top and a hit on Dr. Google informed me I needed battery service. I was convinced I had killed my baby when I walked out of constitutional Law class one night in the pouring rain and she got wet. I was riddled with guilt. And you can see I love my computer like a CHILD. Core care is an Apple authorized retailer and I felt super comfortable arriving in the store with its "Apple museum" behind glass with vintage computers on display. Albert greeted us and listened to my super long semi-dramatic story about my computer. I felt like I could trust him with my baby. And my strange dark computer history. No, let's leave that to the FBI. Diagnostic here is $100, and when I got a call a day later it did need a battery ($200 incl. labor) and I passed on a new CPU (220) as my computer budget was maxed out from buying a new iMac the previous week. Could I have bought my own battery and changed it myself for less money? Probably so. But would YOU perform surgery on your own baby? I think not. Albert called me the next day after the phone consultation and she was ready to pick up. She's been humming along, happy to show off next to her younger sister (the iMac) and sibling rivalry is at bay. But moms always have a favorite, you know? read more

I hate dealing with computer issues. But Casey at Core Care made it super stress-free. He was friendly from the moment I walked in the door. I watched as he efficiently helped several people at once while making each customer feel valued. He was extremely knowledgeable about All-Things-Apple, answering Qs about all types of random issues. These folks are awesome! Casey is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Hell, even my dog adored him. He has been working on apple products for 30 years and it shows. He has infinite patience and is able to explain things in such a way that even a luddite like myself can understand what he is talking about...well, most of the time, lol. His daughter is super sweet and helpful as well! Highly recommend! read more

I unfortunately broke the screen on my MacBook Pro. Not the cheapest of computer accidents to fix but Core Care did it efficiently and probably cheaper than going to the Apple store. They are an Authorized Apple Dealer so thats good enough for me. Plus, no waiting in ridiculous lines at the mall! Just pop in, drop off, and pick up a few days later(maybe other fixes can be done sooner, my part had to be special ordered from Apple). read more

Good service, good value, work was expedited fixed all they could fix with efficiency and expertise.

A1 service. Only place I take my MacBook. They've kept my 2014 mbp running like a champ since my 1st visit around 2019 . Bought it refurbished 10 years ago. Have had display replaced, battery replaced , charging port. Always great work. read more

Core Care was recommended to me by a friend in the Apple Group when my system crashed. I brought the Mac desk top to them, and they explained the situation, gave me options to either rebuild the computer or migrate to a new one. I took took the rebuild. They said the rebuild would get me a machine that was faster, and that the screen was larger than the newer version. Parts needed to be ordered, and the machine was ready on-time. They took the time to explain some things to me, which really helped. Excellent customer service and knowledgeable staff. Use them! Michele on the front desk and Chris working the magic. I had a great experience with this shop. Wealth of knowledge and very trustworthy. I will definitely come back.

I can't believe I forgot to review this page. I've know Casey and CORE for years. There is no one I would rather turn to for all my Apple related needs. When I ran the MacOnline Store in Sacramento, Casey was my technician. I learned from his genius back then. After Apple opened up their own Apple Store nearby, the store I managed was closed and Casey moved on to his own thing with Core Care. Again, in my Apple world, there is no place I'd rather do business with. Good old fashioned live service from people that have a genuine passion for what they do. read more

Absolutely the best and most honest tech company I've ever had the pleasure of working with. I thought I had a failing drive with 10years worth of work and data, brought it in and two days later was told my data and drive were actually ok but they still backed it up for me on a new drive I purchased. Walked me through time machine on Mac, other ways to back up data. They didn't even charge me for the full price!!! Best holiday present I could ask for. THANK YOU! Had the best experience w/ Core Care. They fixed my Late 2016 MacbookPro keyboard through the Apple's Keyboard Replacement Program. I really enjoyed the check in process and it only took 2 business days have it fixed.
