It was so close of giving this place a 5 stars so so close The reason why I choose a 3 is because On October 22nd 2025 @8:10pm I ordered a Farmer Boys Combo (since this was my first time at Farmer Boys) Who ever tooked my order on that night should literally get a warning or get fired because I asked for no Bacon (because I was allergic to Bacon & Pork) and no tomatoes in the receipt I don't see no bacon or no tomatoes, ?? So once I opened it (before I checked the receipt) Before I took a bite out of the first burger I noticed that there was Tomatoes and also Bacon !!! He is lucky that I didnt ate the burger that had the bacon if I did i would be in the hospital and die right in the spot. BECAUSE IM ALERGIC TO Pork and cant eat it. Counter woman with glasses and long braid, unprofessional and disrespectful to senior citizens. Rude, I asked to use the bathroom to wash my hands couldn't see the numbers on the code, she was huffy and opened it for me and said "there!" BR was disgusting, filthy with used paper on the ground, dirty sink and nasty smell. From then on taking our order was taking her time. Bad mood, have someone else take the register if you don't have personality or kindness. Food wasn't that great, hubby's salad of iceberg and 3 pieces of chicken, yes, I said 3! Wilted, he didn't eat most of it. My breakfast wasn't that great either. We'll never go back to any Farmer Boys again. This was my first and last time. Ordered a California Omlet for my wife... something I've ordered a number of times.. I ordered through doordash so you already know they added 3 dollars on top of the actual item price at the location. So I paid 19 dollars for this omlet. When it arrived only a quarter OR one side of the omlet litterally had any filling whatsoever. I called to try to have this corrected and was told " oh it's only suppose to have a quarter of an ounce of bacon inside so that's the scoop that they used.. umm I said that ONLY ONE SIDE had filling. Farmer Boys use to be so good! What happened to there commitment to quality, fresh ingredients served up hot. My cheeseburger had the thinnest patty ever which came like warm at best. On the other hand my deep fried zucchini was so hot it almost burnt my mouth. I have to say it was delicious though. The ranch dressing doesn't seem homemade any longer. It completely lacked flavor. I've come by here 3 times to support school fundraisers but this time around I decided to go here just to have my boyfriend try it for the first time. The staff working here are always friendly and welcoming. We got the "BBQ Chicken Ranch" salad and I ordered the "1/3 pound natural" cheeseburger... Which is a "fresh, never frozen 1/3 lb. pure beef patty with no preservatives". Well, an accident was made and they ended up accidentally giving me their "Big cheese" burger (which does not have the natural guarantee and was cheaper than what I ordered). One of the staff came up to us while I was already halfway through eating my burger, informing us of their mishap and giving me the burger I originally ordered. It was fine I said.. However later that night my stomach started hurting really badly!! I ended up being on and off the toilet for the rest of the night! While I struggled with the effects of the burger, I wondered if I would have felt this way if I had eaten the natural burger. The experience killed the mood for me wanting to even eat the extra burger anymore, and my boyfriend ate it. He also remarked that the food was just alright. Horrible manager at this location named Itzel Came in for breakfast with my dad and my sourdough chicken sandwich was so hard to eat. Chicken was hard to bite down on , once i was able to take it apart it was all dry and stringy ! I grab the second piece and a hair was under it. So i went up to counter to tell a employee. I told Itzel there was a hair and the chicken is hard to bite on and she automatically blamed me Saying it's my hair and that the cooks have no hair (i looked at the cooks and both have hair) then says the chicken is fresh. I said its not my hair the cooks have hair and this isn't eatable She gave me attitude i walked away. She then comes in front of dining customer and my dad and slammed the $ for my food and said " here is your money " and walked away ! Always excellent customer service. I know that when I order food from here, I would like to be quickly serviced, but sometimes takes a couple of minutes. This happens because we are all used to getting premade food like other somewhat similar locations. Then I remember that they take a little bit longer is because my food is actually being freshly made. This is also the reason why I continue to come to Farmer Boys. They have a limited ongoing breakfast platter special which is a great value and with this value platter, you could add an extra 2 pancakes for just a buck. A deal and steal. This has to be the 5th time they get my order wrong or leave out items and based on the comments they are notorious for that. Management is doing a poor job on working to improve accuracy. It's an inconvenience and somewhat upsetting for the customer to have to return to the restaurant for a simple mistake of not having your workers double check for accuracy. It's a shame because there are other fast food joints that make the effort in double checking to make sure the order is given to the customer is correct. UPDATE: Went to get my order remake and they were not very nice at all. From the person I spoke to on the phone, to the person at the counter handing me my order (pretty sure this was a manager), everyone had an attitude. The girl that I called and spoke with in the first place about my messed up food didn't even write my name down on their list. I feel like that should have been the easiest part of her job that entire night. Also, they have a way of making you feel bad for having your messed up order replaced like it was somehow my fault (LOL). I don't think I'll be returning here again Came here Friday night (6/13) and everything was a mess. I ordered for pick up and when I arrived at 8:15pm, I was told the dining room was closed. I could see a couple eating in there and also 8pm seems really early considering other locations close the dining room at 10pm. We went through the drive thru and even though the dining room was closed, and we were the only ones in line at the drive thru, the girl on the speaker told us to wait a few minutes. When we got to the window she then asked to see my order receipt because she didn't know what we ordered. We then waited there at the window for a bit as well. I saw her run outside to talk to one of the other employees while we were waiting. By the time we got home with our food it was 20 minutes after the time our food was supposed to be ready (we only live 2 minutes away). And to top it off, both of the combos I ordered were not made correctly and were missing items. I made a call to let them know my orders weren't made correctly and she laughed at me for complaining. She then laughed because I didn't want to drive back after my order was already made 20 minutes later than it was supposed to be. Why is it that everything went wrong when you guys have more people working than you have customers? Then I receive a lame email for a coupon for a combo upgrade for my bad experience. I even contacted the guest relations email that the manager gives out here on yelp but didn't receive a response. I used to be very anti-farmer boys because of previous visits being terrible. Its most upsetting that this company's reviews on Postmates do not match the reviews here and the number of stars which is very misleading. Not only were the eggs bland (completely unseasoned) but the hash-"browns" were also very soggy and smelled freezer burnt which is unappealing for many reasons. Wasn't a fan of the mayonnaise in place of butter but that's more personal preference. While the bacon was the only thing I was able to finish due to the weird taste, even the bacon had a weird unappealing aftertaste to it. Even the orange juice tasted bad which really concerns me. They definitely take there time here. And more so than other Farmer Boys which is saying something! You'd also think that in taking as long as they do they'd be able to get orders right all the time. However, there have been multiple times when I have ordered my burger (always with no cheese) only to find out....they kept the cheese on there! Then I need to just scrape it off like I'm some kinda animal. It's just not fun. I don't ask for anything crazy. Just no cheese. I doubt it's an uncommon request. The breakfast burrito is huge but still not worth the money. Add sausage was $1.20 and hardly any in there, add avocado was almost $4, but thankfully they put quite a lot in it. A number of times I have come to this particular local Farmer Boys. Most of the times there are issues with the staff and registers. I only have kept coming back here because the food was good and I had hoped the staff and register issues would be fixed. Things like bringing me the wrong order, or the register having the wrong prices, or giving me the incorrect change, or even the cashier literally being unable to physically pick out the correct coins to give me change. Yesterday was the topper however. I brought in a coupon yesterday, 1/2/23, for their Big Cheeseburger Combo for $7.99. The $7.99 is the cost, not a discount. When the cashier rung it up it came out to $9.95 including tax. Los Angeles has one of the highest sales tax in the state but not $2 in taxes! I pointed out the error but she was first adamant that the taxes have gone up, then adamant that the price of the combo went up. I kept trying to tell her that $7.99 is the COST of the meal not a discount to your cost. She didn't understand. And in no way do I fault the young cashier as she is only doing what she was told to do...and say. The Manager, a short female, came over and the same thing. Adamant that their prices went up. Again I pointed out that the coupon was for $7.99 and not a $7.99 discount off of their higher prices. I pointed out that the register rung up as $13.29 and then $4.20 was taken off where the cashier correctly entered the $7.99 coupon.....and it wasn't even a correct number as that did not equal $7.99 but came out to $9.09 before taxes. She didn't want to help or do anything and I told her you can't do that to your customers and just say it's what the register rang up. She then told me "you don't have to come here". I told her again and showed her the receipt. She said, "Well, I'll give you 85 cents back". She then gave me 80 cents. Couldn't even get that right. If she had gotten a calculator to correct the mistake as a manager should do, she would have calculated that $7.99 plus 9.5% sales tax (Los Angeles) would have come out to $8.75 for a $1.20 refund. This showed me a manager that didn't care and ownership that has so many problems with this staff and its technology, either on purpose or by accident. The one thing the manager did get right was that I don't have to come to this restaurant anymore. There are so many other good restaurants to choose from with properly trained employees and managers and with proper end technology that works correctly. read more
