am not sure where to begin. So I was with my friend and she placed an online order for Farmer Boys. We pulled up at the drive thru and told them are here to pick up a mobile order. We were told to pull up to the window and that's where we sat. No one came to the window to acknowledge us. We watched from the car as the workers inside helped people at the counter and ignore us for the longest time. Now I have worked in restaurants for years and if the order was going to take a while an acknowledgment of some kind of any kind would have been appreciated. I used to visit farmer boys location in Canoga Park but decided to try Reseda location since I was in the neighborhood. My friend & I decided to pick up an order but called Farmer boys first to confirm food allergies: garlic & onion. The lady answered the phone confirmed that there is no garlic or onion in the pastrami sandwich, so we've ended up ordering it, but when my friend tried them, he started to feel nauseous and ended up throwing up. Too late to find out that their baguette has toasted garlic. Staff needs to be educated for the importance of food allergies. And no, I'm not coming back or will not recommend to Yelpers! read more

Late-night dinner with my daughter hit the spot when we were craving something great. My daughter ordered the Classic Fiery Fried Chicken. She thought it was a bit small compared with my burger, but still good and the spice level was fairly mild. Her fries, however, were excellent. I had the Farmer's Burger and customized it with sourdough bread, which made it especially delicious. It would be great to see that offered as a standard option. The zucchini sticks were nicely crisp instead of soft or soggy. And the onion rings were huge--some of the best I've had anywhere. This was my first and last time coming here. I ordered a Denver omelet on my way to work around 7:00 or 8:00 AM today (9/13), and the food gave me terrible food poisoning--starting with sharp stomach pains and severe nausea that kept me from finishing my shift. I ordered through doordash so you already know they added 3 dollars on top of the actual item price at the location. So I paid 19 dollars for this omlet. When it arrived only a quarter OR one side of the omlet litterally had any filling whatsoever. I called to try to have this corrected and was told " oh it's only suppose to have a quarter of an ounce of bacon inside so that's the scoop that they used.. umm I said that ONLY ONE SIDE had filling. The staff working here are always friendly and welcoming. We got the "BBQ Chicken Ranch" salad and I ordered the "1/3 pound natural" cheeseburger... Which is a "fresh, never frozen 1/3 lb. pure beef patty with no preservatives". Well, an accident was made and they ended up accidentally giving me their "Big cheese" burger (which does not have the natural guarantee and was cheaper than what I ordered). One of the staff came up to us while I was already halfway through eating my burger, informing us of their mishap and giving me the burger I originally ordered. It was fine I said.. However later that night my stomach started hurting really badly!! I ended up being on and off the toilet for the rest of the night! While I struggled with the effects of the burger, I wondered if I would have felt this way if I had eaten the natural burger. The experience killed the mood for me wanting to even eat the extra burger anymore, and my boyfriend ate it. He also remarked that the food was just alright. You need to retrain your counter workers. Arguing with a customer who altered an order, and the receipt didn't show the change. but was altogether different. The manager on duty was confrontational and refused to give her name- and even took of her name badge- her associate also refused to give the manages name. As far as my chopped salad- it was very different from the chopped salad on your menu board- Picture included- And why do you change the menu board prior to the dates the pricing is to go in effect- using post its saying not available yet- cheapens you. Counter woman with glasses and long braid, unprofessional and disrespectful to senior citizens. Rude, I asked to use the bathroom to wash my hands couldn't see the numbers on the code, she was huffy and opened it for me and said "there!" BR was disgusting, filthy with used paper on the ground, dirty sink and nasty smell. From then on taking our order was taking her time. Always excellent customer service. I know that when I order food from here, I would like to be quickly serviced, but sometimes takes a couple of minutes. This happens because we are all used to getting premade food like other somewhat similar locations. Then I remember that they take a little bit longer is because my food is actually being freshly made. This is also the reason why I continue to come to Farmer Boys. They have a limited ongoing breakfast platter special which is a great value and with this value platter, you could add an extra 2 pancakes for just a buck. A deal and steal. This has to be the 5th time they get my order wrong or leave out items and based on the comments they are notorious for that. Management is doing a poor job on working to improve accuracy. It's an inconvenience and somewhat upsetting for the customer to have to return to the restaurant for a simple mistake of not having your workers double check for accuracy. It's a shame because there are other fast food joints that make the effort in double checking to make sure the order is given to the customer is correct. They definitely take there time here. And more so than other Farmer Boys which is saying something! You'd also think that in taking as long as they do they'd be able to get orders right all the time. However, there have been multiple times when I have ordered my burger (always with no cheese) only to find out....they kept the cheese on there! Then I need to just scrape it off like I'm some kinda animal. It's just not fun. I don't ask for anything crazy. Just no cheese. I doubt it's an uncommon request.
