I prefer this location over the one on Tampa. This one has plenty of parking and a lot of space if you want to line up in your vehicle for drive through. The app works great for pick up and to get rewards for any kind of order. I usually like to dine. There's always clean tables to choose from. It does cost a little more than competition but they don't skimp on the sauces and have superb service. The chicken is delicious. Every time I order waffle fries from this location, they are either cold or undercooked while in the drive through at night. I normally go to Chick-fil-A at night, and this purchase was made around 9:00 to 10:00 p.m. I understand that during the final hours of operation, many staff members are likely cleaning and preparing to close. However, if I am ordering fries, I still expect them to be hot and served at an enjoyable temperature without needing to be reheated. I did not have access to a microwave, so I was very disappointed with the quality of the waffle fries. The chicken strips were at a decent temperature but could have been hotter as well. Overall, I am disappointed with the food quality, as it has drastically changed over the past couple of years. When I visit during the day or morning, the food is usually warm or hot. The line inside to order was short, but there were a lot of people waiting for their food or picking up to-go orders. It was definitely a busy lunch rush. this is the second time I've eaten in this Chick-fil-A and the service is so terrible. I always have the best service at the VALENCIA location. This one is just closer to me. But I will make the farther drive to VALENCIA in the future. Today me and my two sons dined in for lunch around 2 PM. It was not that busy but my cashier Brian was so rude and he kept cutting me off and he kept being very short with me and I was rushed into my order. It just felt very odd and rushed and rude. I'm not sure how long he's been there, but he is not a good cashier and he should not be the face of Chick-fil-A. Later on when I got my food, I asked the lady who brought it who the manager was and she just pointed that lady over there. Do you want me to call her but like so rude the food was OK. My sandwich was half the size that it normally is. I'm not sure if that's an inflation thing but everything just was off. I ordered almost $100 worth of food for me and my children and my husband to take home. I ordered 30 piece chicken nuggets like we always do so we can all share. These were how the last nuggets looked. I'm not sure how or why they think that these are qualified as 30 nuggets but for $22 I should at least get a decent size. I placed an order for pick up and accidentally pressed pick up inside. I waited about 15 minutes to go to the drive-through to try to get my order and they proceeded to tell me I had to park and go inside to pick up the order. And of course there were no parking spots. They didn't even tell me I could go to the drive-through again. They said I had to come inside. I think they need to be re-trained on customer service and doing certain things to make the customer feel welcomed. Terrible service. I have to say, my visit to the Chick-fil-A in Northridge was incredibly disappointing. As a CSUN student, I was really looking forward to taking advantage of the Matador Monday special -- it's an awesome deal where I can get a free sandwich when I order a medium beverage and a medium side. It's one of the few affordable options for a college student, and I was excited to grab a quick meal after a long day on campus. However, when I went to order my usual medium cup of water, I was denied the discount. Apparently, I needed to order a beverage that's not water which is not stated on any signage. I get that rules are rules, but the way the service leader, Ella, handled it was totally unprofessional. Instead of offering a helpful solution or explaining the policy kindly, she acted like I was trying to scam the system and basically made up her own set of "rules" on the spot. I've been to this location multiple times, and while the food is usually good, the service has been consistently subpar. This experience really pushed me over the edge. Not only did I leave shocked for this happening a Chick-Fil-A, but I also felt completely disrespected by Ella and the lack of clear communication from the staff. Chick-fil-A, you're known for your customer service, but this location has a lot of room for improvement. Surprised I hadn't reviewed this location but I generally go to the one on Topanga and the one on Tampa more often, so might have just gone unnoticed. This one is in a busy plaza at the corner of Devonshire and reseda next to Wendy's. The entry to the drive thru - enter through Devonshire btw - is a bit complicated and can get crazy. Can also be a bit slow. That said, they do their best to move things along and even have staff outside when it's super hot. Ultimately you're here for the delicious food and they're always spot on. My favorite is chicken tenders with Polynesian sauce and large fries but I can also go the chicken sandwich with buffalo sauce. I used to always get nuggets but realized other things are more bang for the buck. Tip you can buy a big bag of their awesome ice. read more

Order for take out. Got the side kale salad and 8 count grilled nuggets with buffalo sauce on the side. Let me start off by saying that I am a kale lover! I love it. I have it on a weekly basis. This was the first time I tried their kale salad. It was really good! The only thing I would ask next time is to have it lightly dressed. I thought there was a little bit too much dressing on the salad for my liking. The flavor was delicious. The kale was crunchy. The cabbage was crunchy and the roasted almonds adds a touch! I really liked it and would get it again. I poured the buffalo sauce all over the nuggets and gave them a good shake in their container and then poured them on top of the kale salad. It was really delicious! What a nice option when you're looking for something on the lighter side. Huge chick fil a fan, I visit the Northridge location which is this specific one in writing a review about because it's down the street from my home. I don't eat crispy chicken sandwiches so I buy the grilled deluxe which is great. Their sauces are very tasty and definitely a plus for the sandwich burgers. Reason I give 3 out of 5 is merely the drive thru service. I truly think when they first opened the management was more on top of things and now just bare minimum. More than once I've been asked to wait near stop sign because my order was taking long. After 8-10 vehicles passing me by it's frustrating especially when I ordered four entrees and nothing complicated. We don't come here very often because the line is always crazy but they're pretty organized when it comes to the orders! The inner drive thru line definitely needs to be fixed though. It's too close to a curb and hard to make a wide enough turn to avoid it because of how they have the cones/dividers set up. Luckily we were in the outer lane and had no issue. Wish they had bigger or closer menus? Seems they take your order way before you get to the menu so you really have to look ahead of time online or just know what you want so you're not holding up the line. We decided to try the new peach milkshake and got some chicken sandwiches, tenders, waffle fries, and a sweet iced tea together with it. We went home to enjoy everything and it was all perfect. They're so generous with the sauces which we like to add to our sandwiches. The milkshake really hit the spot! It was 103 degrees out and it was delicious. Wasn't too sweet, refreshing almost? The first experience was when I went in the drive thru wanting some ice cream cones, but unfortunately that day there machine were broken, instead of the workers moving the cones so I can get out of line (mind you I was near the end of the cones that could easily been moved) they said I had to wait in line to just get out. She stated we have to register through ID.me to verify that we are nurses, even after showing our badge. I love chick-fil-A... but the experience I had really was not good. I ordered something we usually get, the Cobb salad with chicken and light balsamic vinaigrette dressing which is great, not too big of a salad and not too much calories but with good amount of protein. With the nutritional facts, it's easy when we are tracking for intake accordingly. We ordered two salad, one of them with bacon on the side. As busy as the lunch time is, the drive through was not that bad. I picked up my order from the window, since we gotten the wrong order before, I make sure to look into the bag before driving off. I saw the special order sticker on the lid but don't see the ingredient requested on the side so I asked the staff at the window to double check for me. And he asked me if I want my extra bacon on the side. I was confused... I don't want extra bacon, I just want the original back on the side. And then he asked me for which salad. Now I'm really confused... because there's only one salad that is special order with the bacon on the side. Then he told me because both of my salads are special order with extra bacon. I asked him if I got someone else's order but no that's the one they ordered for me even though when the drive through staff repeated my order correctly, my order somehow was not correct at all. And they also charged the extra for the bacon which I didn't ask for nor I can eat them. No worries, stuff happens. Let's just fix it and all move on right? As the staff at the window outside explained to the person inside, the person inside kept repeating something that was just not accurate like "so she doesn't want bacons for both?" I can see the guy outside explain to them "one regular Cobb salad, and one Cobb salad with bacon on the side. Both with bacon. Does that make sense?" I feel really bad for the guy standing out here, he's trying his best and it's like 100º outside... they asked him to verify so many times, I don't even know what's so complicated, the staff outside and I were speechless. Anyway, the line is getting long, they asked me to drive to the pickup area and they'll bring it out to me. I moved my car, sat there for about 10 mins and still nobody coming out and saw bunch of people left with their food from the drive through. I went out the car and asked the same poor guy at the window are they gonna bring it out or was I suppose to go in to pick up? He asked the people inside the window again, and they said they are making it now. Making it now? so the time we sat at the drive through, the time you instructed me to drive to the waiting area, the 10 minutes I sat in the sun waiting while they give other people after me their orders instead of mine... now they are making my salads. I stood there for another 10 minutes in the sun and saw about 5 cars leaving with their food again... The guy at the drive through window gave me my order finally, he apologized for something that's totally not his fault and I thanked him for the order. I can only imagine how many times people got frustrated at him for something he has no control over... At the end, this ordered took more than 30 mins, and I got home, the order is still wrong. The dressings are their default Avocado lime ranch that's 310 calories instead of the Light balsamic vinaigrette dressing that are 80 calories that we ordered to fit our dietary restrictions...
