Overall I'm impressed. Pros: -Everything we got was great. -The Thicky burger really was thick and very filling. It was priced at $16, which feels steep for a burger with no sides, but after eating it I'm not mad at that price. Meat patty was SO well seasoned. Probably the most seasoned meat patty I've ever had. Honestly I'm not 100% sure what else was in that burger but it was tasty and unique. Don't think I've had a similar burger elsewhere. The "thickles" (pickles) were sweeter than normal but I actually sort of liked that. -Brussel sprouts are as good as other reviewers say. -Jojos were super fluffy and soft on the outside with a crispy exterior -None of the food was overly oily, which surprised me a little. I expected the find a puddle of oil under the sprouts or for the jojos to seep oil in my to-go container but that wasn't the case at all -Service was super nice! Cons: -Only concern about this place is cleanliness/food safety. I'm not saying it's dirty, but it wasn't exactly clean either. I did see grease stains on the window peering into the kitchen, smudges on the fridge, chicken thigh sitting out (possibly about to be used?), cheese wheel out, number buzzer for our order was greasy, etc. Napkins on the outside were stained with oil. First of all, this place is filthy. Absolutely gross dirty. Like, how has it not been shut down? Not to mention the guy with ungloved hands touching all of the food, and tapping on payment machines. I actually forced myself to taste one of the burgers I ordered and besides being fall apart messy, it was gross tasting. I threw away $80 worth of food my family bought and took them to McDonalds for an upgrade. Please call the health department and shut this place down. read more

I hate leaving negative reviews. I understand mistakes are made. I've worked in the service industry long enough to know some things are beyond your control. I do feel like some things can be learning experiences though. First; update the menu online. The prices and items available were quite different. We ordered a cheeseburger, plant based burger, and waffle fries. They were very busy, so we were definitely aware we'd be waiting for a bit. The atmosphere was very cool, so why not? There was definitely a lack of food safety. The cleanliness wasn't great, no gloves, food and beer being drank while food prepared. We also waited over an hour and ten minutes. We stopped in to try this place because it made the areas top smash burger places! While I enjoyed the meal and the burger was great, it really wasn't as smashed as I would have hoped, otherwise it would have gotten five stars. It's basically a food truck parked next to a brewery with a canopy. So be prepared if the weather isn't friendly for sitting outside. I had the Ok, Okay and it was certainly more than I needed but I ate every bite! We also ordered the JoJo's, which were good. A bit too salty for my liking, but I just got some of their house sauce and that helped, so maybe it's intentional :D If you are in the area and want a good burger, stop in! read more

An hour and a half. That's how long it took to get two burgers that were fine, and an order of fries that my husband described as "aggressively ok" An hour and a freaking half. Order placed 6:35. Had somewhere else to be about 10 minutes away around 7:15. This should be doable for a burger place. At 7:05 he asked about the burgers and the wait time. "There are 3 orders in front of you, so like...15 minutes?" Had to go run the errand on my own, leaving husband to wait for the burgers. Assuming that he would be waiting for me with a cold burger when I got back. Nope. 8:05. A full hour after we were told 3 orders were ahead of us. A full hour to complete 4 orders. The place was NOT full. It was about half empty tables at the brewery. There is no food on this earth I'm waiting an hour and a half for once my order is placed, much less what amounts to a food truck burger. Also? The menu is illegibly hand scrawled when you get there, doesn't tell you what's on any of the burger options, and doesn't line up with the most recent menu online, so there's basically no way to make an informed choice about what you're ordering in the first place. Delicious! Also why did it take me so long to stop by. farmboy bites in located in future primitive brewery. I'm also on the hunt for a good burger and they definitely make a bomb burger here. I ordered the oh okay which is basically the farmboy with jalapeños. The burger is on the smaller side but packed with so much flavor. You could taste the char with the bits of jalapeños. It was so good, loved that they're only a 5 minutes drive. Will be back probably this week haha read more

Disturbed after watching food being cooked here. Ungloved hands scooping fistfuls of raw ground beef onto the cooktop then using same unwashed hands to assemble people's burgers. No hand washing in between. It took an hour to get our food and I regretfully stood by the window and watched what was happening inside that cart. The long wait time is what it is but people shouldn't be put in danger like this, especially families. Health department seriously needs to check this place out. read more

Farm boy Bites is housed right next to Future Primitive Brewing in the White Center area of the Seattle metro area. We have been going to socials nearby fairly frequently the passed year and have made it a tradition to get beers at the brewery followed by a meal every time we go to the socials. Last night was our first time to try out Farmboy Bites because in our minds there are lots of good restaurants in the area and we are often trying out those. Farmboy specializes in smashed burgers and the beef is organic and local. Unfortunately I had a big and late lunch and didn't want a regular sized burger but instead got a children's sized Cheeseburger. It proved to be excellent and was just the right amount. It was very good! We split some French Fries and those too were wonderful! They were cooked and cut perfectly! The portion of the fries are generous so a party of two could easily split these. Looking forward to a return trip and maybe get a regular sized burger but I have absolutely no complaints with what I did have! read more

Man, I really want this place to succeed, but I have to give a 3 star review because my experience was just okay. Came with my wife on a Friday night and we waited forever for a couple burgers and joejoes. I think the kitchen can't quite keep up with the demand when there are a lot of people present, and it effects the quality. The burgers tasted good, but didn't have that Maillard crispy crust I'm looking for with a smashed burger. Not sure if that was just due to the timing of the order and how overextended they seemed or whether that is normal here. The joejoes were quite good. Again, I hope this place keeps going! We placed our order with a very friendly staff member and then waited... and waited. After more than 40 minutes, our two burgers and single order of fries finally arrived. Unfortunately, the fries were cold and overcooked. The burger itself was hot and juicy, which I appreciated, but the flavor profile just wasn't for me--the seasoning and special sauce had a strong taste, maybe cumin, that I found off-putting. Overall, this seems like a fun place to hang out, socialize, and bring your dog. But if you're looking for a quick meal, be prepared for a long wait. 3 1/2 stars, really. To be fair, this was our first time here and we took our food to-go. Everything is better fresh, of course, and the only thing that may have suffered the 10 minute drive home was that the Brussels sprouts were not crispy as advertised (our mistake). My other issue was that they were covered in green onions (not mentioned on the menu). As I ordered my burger without onions, a mention that the Brussels sprouts come slathered in green onions would have been appreciated (it's shocking to me that green onions, chives, leeks, shallots, etc. are often not considered when I ask for "no onions"). Anyhoo, the Brussels do have a yummy lemon vinaigrette, feta, & pepitas. The smash-style burger are two thin patties with crispy edges, gooey cheese, crisp lettuce, tomatoes, "thickles" and secret sauce. It was very good, but the patties could be a bit beefier (pun for free). The tots were crispy (30 more seconds and would be overdone) and plentiful. $56 including 20% tip.
