My wife and I enjoyed a great lunch with great service. We enjoyed so much that we asked six members of our family to join us for dinner that night - big mistake. We arrived for dinner at 6:30 on a Friday evening and was seated by 6:40. Appetizers, drinks, and bread came quickly. Order was given. All good so far. Then no food, long wait of 80 minutes. The floor manager and the wait staff continued to offer apologies for the delay but did not assist in getting food any faster. Half the group received food after 80 minutes, the other half, 10 minutes later with the two children's plates served last. The food was fine and the wait staff very attentive but the kitchen and cooks were overwhelmed by the Friday night crowd. Recommend for lunch but stay away on weekend nights. read more

Couldn't have asked for a better setup for today's Baby Arrival Party for my nephew. The food was great for an afternoon party. The pimento cheese and chicken salad with pita chips were light but flavorful and pit perfectly with the homemade tomato bisque. Very affordable for the quality of food presented! We had a date night tonight, and tried this place after reading some good reviews. It was kind of off the beaten path, hidden away in a little strip mall. We walked in, and it looked nice, and we were seated really quickly. Our seat was tucked in a little hole between two tables, and a little cramped. We had the Tots with Pimento cheese and bacon dust, excellent. I had the hamburger steak with grilled onion and mushroom macaroni and cheese and green beans. My wife had the loaded chicken with grilled squash and macaroni and cheese. Everything was really delicious, and fresh tasting and cooked perfectly. Our only complaints related to our food was her squash portion was small, and my hamburger steak was fairly dry. It could have used a gravy or sauce. So, all in all, the food was excellent, but the service was really slow. My drink went dry twice, and still sat even after the waiter, Tanner, noticed and said something about it. He forgot about us when we were done eating, and took forever with the check. We might try it again, because we really liked the food. Hopefully, we get a better waiter. read more

This review is against the owner and only the owner. My wife and I live in Ringgold and have been regulars for a couple of years. We always spend at least $50 and have been there at least 20 times. Yes we've spent $1000 at this establishment. Before moving to the new location, the owner would always speak to us. We've been to the new location about 10 times and now he's too big to even acknowledge us. The new location has a bar with a patio outside. Smokers go on the patio to smoke but the door is always locked so you have to put a stick in the door so it doesn't lock you out. Tonight my wife and I were outside smoking and Hugh, the owner, removed the stick locking us outside in the cold. He did not show the decency to say anything to us. Being the owner you would think he would have a key to unlock the door. He just locked us out without saying anything forcing us to walk around the building and come back in the front door. The food is pretty good but overpriced. The one good thing is the bartenders are great. There's just a different about the new location. I now understand the bad reviews about bad service. The employees don't seem happy to work there for an owner who is a jerk. He will not be getting any more of my money. Lots of places have good food. I go out to places that have good service and make me feel appreciated for spending my hard earned money there. read more

Mixed reviews for this restaurant. Bad first impression because no greeting at the door. People looked confused as to what to do. But was seated fairly quickly. Very good food in some areas and lacking in others. For example, I asked for my steak to be cooked medium well and it was brought to me medium rare. My son's chicken fingers were ice cold like they had just come from the refrigerator. We told them multiple times that he was allergic to eggs and they still continued to bring stuff on his plate that had egg in it. However, the shining bright spot of the whole experience were their chicken wings. I'm not a chicken wing eater, matter fact, I just about can't stand them. But I decided to try one and these were the best chicken wings I had ever had in my entire life. While some things were seasoned well, other items had very little flavor/seasoning. UPDATE: Just as mentioned in earlier reviews, the freshness of this food just can't be beat. Stuck in Chattanooga for a few days and ate three meals here and discovered that the daily chef specials are as good as the menu items. Had our first mishap tonight when the tenderloin medallions came out closer to medium well than medium rare ordered, but as soon as I said something they were immediately apologetic and a new serving was brought before many bites of the delicious bacon cabbage and fried green tomatoes could be taken. Friendly service, great tasting FRESH food, casual atmosphere...can't ask for more. We'll be back every time we pass this way. Wish there was a Farm to Fork closer to Atlanta. read more

So the restaurant was a cute and cozy little place with a live band playing and drinks! I've never had to wait so long to get my food that was the first thing docked for! Secondly, the waitress we had obviously was not "giving the pickle" she was a little over to concern with other tables. 30 minutes wait time On food so far and she didn't bother to check on why our food took so long until she noticed the aggravation on our faces when we watched 2 ppl who come in after us get there food. Once our food finally come out five minutes after mine was semi warm (I had chicken, greens, and a baked potato) my fiancé (cabbage, squash, and bbq) was mildly seasons at best and the cabbage (the reason behind the long wait) was still cool and hard, so explain that one! After 4 bites I declared I was done and ask for a to go box and the check! We noticed the manager pacing around and pulled him off to the side to address the situations we had to which he almost acted a little uncaring but offered at least a free appetizer for next time! Umm thanks but no thanks sir but I definitely won't be back anytime soon! read more

We visited on 6/16 (Father's Day). We had been wanting to try it for a while! When we arrived we were seated very quickly (which is always great when you have kids). We ordered two 10 oz Sirloins (one well and one medium well) along with a kids burger and a kids steak (well). We waited 40 minutes for our food which wouldn't had been a problem had our salads came out first. We cut into all three steaks only to have medium steaks (mine was more like rare) and quickly asked to waitress to send them back. I mentioned we hadn't got our salads so she said she would drop the steaks off and grab the salads (and she did)! The steaks returned only for them to still be medium but now at least no blood was coming out. I ended up eating the edges of mine but my Daughter and Husband who only eat well done (no pink) steaks weren't going to eat them. We finished our salads and potatoes and asked for the check. The waitress asked us if we wanted to go boxes and I told her that if we weren't able to eat it there due to them being cooked wrong that we wouldn't be taking them home. She apologized and went to charge our card. When doing so I could see her talking to someone clearly in charge (in an orange shirt) but he obviously wasn't interested in at least offering something to eat in place of the steak. She told us to have a great day and she hoped to see us again! First impressions are everything. I don't mind my food being wrong as long as they make it right. Never should 20 oz of steak be left on a plate without the management questioning what went wrong. read more

We have been to Farm to Fork twice for dinner. Each time the meals were excellent. First time was the two of us. The salads and our main entrees were excellent. Second time we took our next door neighbors. Again an excellent meal. I had the tenderloins of beef and the others had the shrimp platter. There was more than ample food. We thought the price for the quantity and quality of food could not be better. Service was excellent and more than attentive then those franchise establishments. read more

We've never had a bad meal here. Their beef tenderloins are always delish and super tender. I'm very picky about fried green tomatoes as mine are awesome and Farm to Fork's are the only ones I'll order at a restaurant. We also had one of the best garden salads ever, fresh fresh baby greens and a yummy balsamic vinaigrette. It's a nice basic low key restaurant with great food and a nice change from all the chain restaurants around. We highly recommend it. read more

Had an opportunity to dine at the Farm To Fork restaurant in Ringgold, GA this evening. Parking lot was crowded when we arrived. Group of four seated quickly. Hostess was very prompt and polite. Waitress was quick to take our drink orders while we looked over the menu. They offer a wide selection from appetizers and salads, sandwiches and burgers, vegetables, steaks and seafood. This is not a fast food place. Casual, family style restaurant which also has a full bar and features live entertainment weekly. We placed our orders, which included shrimp tacos, hamburger steaks, fried green tomatoes, green beans, slaw, and mashed potatoes, and hot rolls. Food portions are just right and everything was served hot. Only complaint, the two shrimp tacos only had three pieces of shrimp between them. Obviously, they should have at least three pieces of shrimp each. Prices aren't cheap, about $25 per couple for entrees and drinks. Overall this is a good choice when in the North Georgia area. read more

We had been wanting to try Farm to Fork for some time, and stopped for dinner on a recent Sunday. As we were being seated we noticed water dripping from the ceiling in several places. I understand problems can occur, but don't keep your restaurant open with water drips falling that could easily drop on your patrons and food. However, we were hungry and decided to stay after finding a booth that appeared to be out of the way of the dripping water. I ordered a shrimp po'boy and my husband had a turkey sandwich. Both were very disappointing - po'boy was a large roll with a sprinkling of lettuce and three shrimp, and the turkey was flavorless. We both had fries as our side and they were limp and very undercooked. Of course, every restaurant can experience a bad night, but a friend happened to mention that she had dined at Farm to Fork a few days after we had eaten there and when I asked her what she thought about the place she related that her experience had been very poor as well. I doubt we will try again. read more

We had one of the worst dining experiences we've ever experienced. I understand that it was Mother's Day and that means it is busier, but never is an hour and a half wait for FOOD acceptable. We were told our ticket was "two tickets" away 45 minutes before we got our food. Then, they brought a fourth of our parties food while the rest of us waited. Another 30 minutes away and the rest of us finally got our food. The fish and chips were cold, the panini couldn't be eaten, and the cheese wasn't even melted on the Mac and cheese. When it came time to pay, part of our party had to leave (we had been there two hours by now with no food) and their check did not have their appetizer on it (It was my grandparents check). They paid and left because they assumed everything was on the check. The waitress came to the table asked where they were and then snippy said, "well I'll just pay for it out of pocket." It was completely unprofessional. While we appreciate them applying a discount to our bill (because we asked), we will not be returning because there was an excuse for everything. We had to continuously go to the hostess stand and ask about the status of our order. At no point did management update us or check in on our party during this entire time period until the final time my wife went to the hostess stand. read more

We came in for a quick lunch on our way back to Atlanta from Chattanooga and would happily make the two hour trip back to this place any day just for some fried green tomatoes. They are that good! I stayed in ringgold ga last week and saw the signs for this restaurant after I hAd already eaten dinner so decided to try it this week. I expected better. I had to ask for a definition of farm to forks concept and it wasn't exactly as I expected. Basically the beef and veggies are local but there is a lot more in the menu. They need to play up the farm fresh marketing concept they are trying to capitalize on. I was greeted by my male waiter. Who said. "All right" a lot. Thought he's be much better than he was. I ordered fried pickles to start but they were delivered after my Meal arrived with no apology. Te beef medallions were cooked perfectly medium and quite tasty. The sweet mashed potatoes were very good. The fried green tomatoes were a disappointment. the batter was gummy and thick and I suspect fried in the same oil as the fish as they had a slightly fishy taste. I think the same batter is on the Fried pickles (which the waiter just told me were being taken off my bill when he noticed i wasn't eating them. They were meant as an appetizer and don't really go with my meal They have a beer and wine bar so you can get. Drink. Seemed to be an okay selection of bottled beer. Four drafts and wine. I'm not getting dessert but a table nearby ordered several different slices of cake to share and they devoured them all with lots of loud YUMS! I also overheard people saying the corned bread. Mac and cheese and chicken livers (the special) were excellent I did taste the fried pickles. They were good. Overall I'd give it a 4. Id definitely try it again just for the beef medallions and mashed sweet potatoes! (As i was about to close this out I heard the owner talking about her cat head biscuits for the farm house breakfast - sounds Devine!). I had a bottle of blue moon and the beef medallions with two veggies and my bill was less than $15 not including tip. read more
