Terrible hospitality and mediocre food. They mistakenly charged 4 dollars for ONE egg when i asked for chicken in my salad then argued i misspoke. The extremely rude waitress said she kept repeating my order to me too. False. I would never pay that much for an egg. Wow! I've eaten at Faregrounds a few times, but this past Thursday I went to get lunch and the place was jammed! The word is out on this place! Luckily I found a table for me and my friend just when the occupants were leaving, as the place filled up quickly. Their menu items have always been good, but some of the new additions are outrageously delicious. I had the Miso Wrap and it is now one of my favorites. My friend loved the place too. You might have to wait a little bit to get your food, but everything is worth it. It's not fast food - it's cooked to order, healthy, and so satisfying. Now I have to go back and order breakfast. Very solid lunch spot! We got a tuna sandwich, and a pastrami sandwich, both of which were great and pretty large. Restaurant is quiet, cashiers were nice. I am beyond disappointed with my experience and I left empty handed. I drove an hour out of my way to come here. I walked in at 3:50, the door was unlocked and the girl behind the register was taking someone's order. I walked all the way inside and got in like behind the person ordering, She then told me it was closed and she couldn't take my order. I politely left but This is so disappointing. If the store is closed she needed to lock the door or have a closed sign visible. I'm unsure why she was serving other customers but refused to serve me when I was inside the business during posted hours. Whoever working today August 12, 2025 at 3:50 pm needs a better understanding of what customer service is or you need to do better a business to ensure that if your store is closing early that your ensure your store is locked up and appears closed and you aren't serving other people. read more

Been coming here daily for the past few months and they never disappoint with their ceremonial matcha and food. I also love their banana cold foam cold brew. Can get busy during lunch hours so call to order ahead before walking over. Love that this location is right next to my doctor's office. Service is always great but seating is definitely limited during lunch hours. I'm usually able to get a table to work at in the mornings though! 5/5 love! Faregrounds has become my 2x a week treat and sometimes I'll pick some up for the office girlies cause they've become JUST AS OBSESSED AS ME?? I LOVE their matcha. It's bold and nutty and always so smooth. My newest addiction has been the oatmilk matcha with banana cold foam. I found out they make all of their syrups in house from SCRATCH. Like are you kidding me. I also love their earl grey matcha and their cold brews w cold foam. Can't go wrong with anything. PS their food is all so so good. Best coffee in the area with reasonable pricing! I tried the salted vanilla latte the waitress recommended me, it was incredibly delicious, and my friends loved their drinks too. Stopped by this morning on a whim, I got their breakfast burrito and an iced americano. The burrito was delicious you can taste the quality. In my opinion it was better than the one I had at the high end grocery store down the street. The iced American was good as well it did not have the acidity that a lot of other coffee shops have.
