Small intimate breakfast/brunch/lunch spot tucked away in BH. Food was delicious but their matcha was next level. Why I am trying this now is beyond me. 1. Short rib breakfast burrito: braised short rib, scrambled eggs, hash, pickled onions-game changer, and Gochujang aioli all wrapped up in a toasty flour wrap. Choice of sauces but honestly can go easily without the dipping sauces. Chose the cilantro one and no regrets here. 1000% recommend 2. Açaí bowl:balanced my salty with a cold and sweet flavor. This açaí bowl was just divine with its icy cold açaí base, almond granola, fresh banana slices and blueberries all drizzled with coconut bites and honey. Fantastic. Also highly highly recommend 3. Rose matcha: washed everything down with rose foam matcha. Excellent as well. The rose aroma was delicious. Overall 1000% recommend. Coming back to try the lunch menu.

I am so amazed at how good this place actually is. Although it is on the pricey side, the wraps and sandwiches are actually gigantic! Yes, indeed, the hype for that caesar wrap is worth it. You must go and try it with the crispy chicken. They already put enough dressing in the wrap itself, but they also include a small side of it too. I also tried the favorited spicy don, which was enough for 2 people as well. The cheese was melted perfectly onto the chicken cutlet and the perfect amount of heat is in the vodka sauce. It also came with a side of chipotle sauce and extra vodka sauce which was hot in it's container. My friend tried their banana matcha and rates it a 5/5 and I tried the tiramisu latte which I would rate a 4/5. You can taste the quality in their food and drinks. Luckily, upon my arrival, the line was not long, but as I was sitting outside enjoying my food, the line began to grow. Honestly, please check this place out. I will be back soon!!

Place was busy at 1030am on a Friday but things moved fast and got the order in 10 minutes Breakfast bowl. Good variety. 4.5/5 Short rib burrito breakfast. Maybe too much meat for me in the morning. But it was good. 4.5/5

This place is a great easy brunch spot! I was craving a Caesar wrap specifically and it did not disappoint! I got the miso Caesar salad as a wrap with crispy chicken and it was delicious. The dressing on the side is so good too - I'm a big sauce girl and didn't have to add too much which is a great sign. Portion is big too (2 meals for me). I also got the blueberry matcha which was insane. I love matcha and this one definitely passed the test. I love how they had unique flavors too bc you can't find a blueberry matcha just anywhere! It wasn't too too busy when we went but not a ton of seating inside. It was also raining but there's some seating outside too which would be nice on a pretty day. Definitely would go back for the wrap + matcha

This place for sure lives up to the hype! The miso caeser with the crispy chicken is very good! Definitely the best I've had in LA. The Thai basil steak wrap is soooo good I love the meat inside it's cooked perfectly and so flavorful. I wish it was available as a bowl because the rice was so good with it but it can be a bit too much pairing rice and tortilla together. The honey crunch wrap is okay it didn't have much flavor. it is skippable in my opinion. The banana cream matcha is soooo good. The banana cream tastes like you're eating actual bananas and I get extra matcha so it's not too sweet. The girls working are nice and they still give good customer service even when being overwhelmed with a lot of customers. Wait can be a little long during busy hours and it doesn't have a lot of seating but definitely worth trying!

I waited over 2 hours for this viral chicken Caesar wrap. So let's see if they're pretty good eh or ew. The wrap had good savory, umami, salty miso,Caesary flaves but was REALLY DRY. It was like 90% sad soggy dry breadcrumbs, 7% dry shredded chicken chicken, and 3% lettuce. It even costed extra to add the chicken. The tortilla was grilled but also pretty average. Hopefully just caught them on an off day cuz this was not worth the time, money, or hype. This wrap eugh. $4 chicken $15 wrap Paid $21

The coffee here is decent however you have to refinance the house to afford to drink coffee here on the regular basis. Crazy high prices, $2 extra per shot unreal. Service and ambiance is a 10 out of 10 and love that they don't use seed oils. That shouldn't make my coffee $10 per drink when you add an extra shot...

The Matcha here is delicious! The blackberry sage was lacking flavor so I tried the much lemonade next time and it was tasty. Prices are fair and the service is quick. They have a delicious sounding menu, the food looks amazing, but there was a wait so I will come back and try those next time. Cute café with plenty of inside seating. Order at the counter or at the kiosk to go. Nice addition to the area, worth checking out!

Stopped by for a quick caffeine fix due to my early flight to LA. Staff was lovely and helped me order because i cannot find this item - Salted Maple Foam Latte on their tablet. My drink came out quick and it was tasty, not a coffee girlie but I would say I really enjoy it. Store ambience is simple and aesthetic, you can definitely have some cute pictures taken here. It was a nice experience for my Thursday's morning in LA.

If you work here you have the weekends off.

Flat whites, cortados, espressos, & macchiatos. Growing up it was just a cup of coffee now we have mochas, cappuccinos, and matcha. If you're looking for an exceptionally good brew Faregrounds is the place for you. Faregrounds is a charming café in Beverly Hills that serves expertly brewed beverages and thoughtfully prepared meals. They use ceremonial grade matcha, syrups are made in house, and they offer cold foam toppings. The décor is charming and the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. Barista Lauren was an absolute doll. Greeting every customer with a warm smile and cheerful demeanor. She recommended the Salted Vanilla Foam Latte. I mentioned I wasn't a big fan of the "salted" and she told me she could make it without, so I ordered it with almond milk. While I waited I heard regulars rave about the food here. I made a mental note to come back for lunch. I've never had a cold foam beverage before, so I was pleasantly surprised with my drink. The foam was thick - almost like melted ice cream. If I didn't have a straw I would have ended up with a milk mustache. LOL! I liked that the vanilla bean seeds were evident in the foam - further attestation that they use quality ingredients. The beverage was light on sweetness and nicely balanced. The coffee wasn't overpowering and the milk didn't dominate. Out of all the coffee shops I've tried in Beverly Hills, Faregrounds is my favorite.

There's also seating now, which I don't think there was before! I got the Mango Grapefruit Book this time, and it was not too sweet! There's a really strong mango and coconut flavor, though the grapefruit can be a little bitter. The service worker there was also very kind and answered a lot of my and the other guests' questions. I definitely think this location is worth checking out! For a parking tip, park at the Beverly Hills Public Parking garage down the street. It's one hour free!

There is also some street parking available, though it can be a bit difficult to find an open spot. Service at this location is okay, sometimes good and friendly and other times not so much. It doesn't bother me too much since I don't interact with them very often though. I usually order online and pick up at the counter, which I find much more convenient. Recently, I believe they extended the delivery area on the map to LA, but I haven't gotten the chance to try that out yet. They often run offers and promotions on their app, so I definitely recommend ordering online. You can also add a sticker to your cup when ordering online (if you draw your own it takes about a day to get it approved)! The interior is pretty small, so more of a grab-n-go, and it has a nice modern, clean aesthetic. The drinks are consistently pretty great! My go‑to orders are the Mango Coconut Boom and the Mango Grapefruit Boom. Super refreshing and fruity and the grapefruit adds a little tart, sour kick to the mango. I also really like the Triple Supreme Matcha and I recently tried the new seasonal King Jasmine Guava, and it wasn't bad at all too (the stickers are also super cute). Overall, really happy that this location opened, and the drinks are super good and keep me coming back.

It is pricey (maybe the priciest out there) but every element of the experience is top tier and you get what you pay for. The sandwiches, scones, and pastries are actually high quality and delicious. I love the variety of the sandwiches with some twists and premium ingredients like caviar. The scones are my favorite and not dry at all, it's served with clotted cream, lemon curd, and a berry jam - absolutely delicious. There's a lot of tea choices to choose from that will cater to a variety of tastes. The ambiance is what sets this afternoon tea apart from the rest. There's a live harpist! The Living Room decor feels very posh, the plates and cups have pretty designs, and the set is served on a silver 3-tier stand. The service is also fantastic! They kept coming back to refill our tea. Afternoon Tea, in the Beverly Hills Peninsula, within its (The) Living Room is an intentional…read moredecision to stop time and let yourself be pampered, so you may be a princess who feels a degree shift in her bedroom and the result nearly cuts her skin, like a dagger on flesh. The breeze knows this and thus its best to control itself because it knows its place in relation to this girl. If you make the decision, I recommend going on a day where you can absorb the classy and elegant (that slightly borders on stiff traditionally) vibe because no one deserves to have a troubled mind when enjoying luxurious tea. It is like a big sports guy, going to the Super Bowl, when back home they have a leaky faucet that is near full rupture but he cannot do anything until Monday. How is he suppose to enjoy viewing a fumble or bouncing cheerleaders or a roaring crowd with costumed fans, if there is a drip drip of worry in his mind that he cannot wrench into closing. I guess, this space is like a zen garden, where one goes to be present, not just to checkmark a daily meal. I say all that because I was silent for long moments, and I apologized to Ronnie for not engaging in conversation. And she said, "I understand, you are taking it all in." So this place is also a gallery of fancy, where one experiences tea in the cushions of Beverly Hills rarefied air. When I was there, I saw a large group of girls attending a baby shower. To me, it was a like small movie scene. All of them were gathered in a group, like lilies in a special patch, looking all pretty in nice dresses, long flowing hair, and were all smiles and refined in movement, taste and persona. I wondered why they were talking about? Ronnie anchored me back to reality and said, they are probably just catching up, just like us. She makes a good point--- a baby shower in a fancy tea room, is no different than a baby shower held in a back yard. Every one is there to give well-wishes and gifts, eat good food, and chat. There are obvious ways in which these two experiences are different but at their core they were the same: a group of people gathering to celebrate a coming child. One place just does it with white linens ironed to precious quality, while the other is limited to folded tables set up carefully so they don't break. I share this so that the reader knows that this place is so fancy, that I felt like I did not just have tea, I more felt like I was in a place that redefined fancy for me, and that in itself, is worth more than the 150.00 dollars I paid to sip rose tea. But still I would not do it again, because to sip rose tea and be pampered like a princess cost me 150.00 dollars. To translate this into a Yelp message: Go as a once in a life time experience to understand how the 1 percent enjoys their tea, and hopefully that adds to all that shapes your perspective of the world. I want to truly stress, that this slow moving experience, in a wondrous way, redefined what fancy is because I never saw fancy be effortless lazy yet still be extravagant and gorgeous. I was a guy there. There was another guy there, enjoying tea alone. But everyone else read female. So this place is women centered because who is taught to have tea parties at a young age? I mean there is no tea party with cups that show the Hulk and Iron man. So this is. a girlie fantasy. Look at my pictures, even though there are few one can see pink ribbons, floral patterns, precious and dainty flowers, and fashion carried by hats. I went because I am comfortable stepping outside gender roles but not everyone is. So, I guess, I am saying that afternoon tea, all adorn with teas, is mostly for girls, shocking I know. The food was superb. I remember the chicken salad sandwich fondly. I remember the strawberries and cream. I remember being handed a warm towel to wipe my hands clean. I remember lounging, but again, this is more of an experience. Like I can have high tea again, but not like this because it is too precious to revisit on rewind. I rather have this be a bubble that strolls down Rodeo and Sunset than it be popped by another visit. I remember all of it as a kind of dream, which makes it more precious. There was also a harp player. But I am not going to say I was in heaven, that reach is too easy. Plus, I did not feel like I was in heaven, even though I sat in a cloud. I noticed to much, and thought to much about my surroundings. I was not at peace. I was in rest. The difference being is that peace comes with out thought, and rest can come with an analysis. Think I am wrong? Then imagine a genius doing Sodukus for fun---- he is not in peace because he is being challenged, but he is in rest because she can find quiet pleasure in finishing the mental challenge in record time. I realize that I took a long way to say the following: the place is gorgeous, the food is sensational, the graces both big and small, mix into a pleasurable experience that makes one say, that was certainly fancy to the sky!
