It took me two years to convince myself to do this, since these people know where I live, was scared. I am not scared anymore. I am tired of spending all of that money and still dealing with issues. Two years ago I was remodeling my new house and brought Far West Electric (Noah the owner) for evaluation and pricing. He gave me the best pricing comparing to the other two companies that i asked for estimate. I hired him and one week in, he change the price and adds another $2000, ten days later adds another $1000. I end up paying him around $7500 or more and still having problem with my electric job. Besides the false evaluation to get my job, he would not show up at the job and I had to call him and beg him to come since other people's work depended on his project. I will never use him again and this is what are the main issues that I share with you. 1- while he was working at my house my circuit breaker was on fire, almost burned my house and when I told him, he said the breaker needs to be changed which would have been another 3-4 thousands dollars. Since I couldn't afford it tried to bring a new provider to give me a quote. the new electrician found some loose wires on the attic around my bedroom that were causing the fire and he had to redo them otherwise my house could be on fire. ( Noah told me that he changes peoples breakers all the time, In my opinion false diagnosis to make extra money, at least in my case since my breaker is working fine). 2- The wires on my attic were sitting lose without the protective box (told by many providers) and I had to hire a new electrician and pay $1200 to fix the job that he was supposed to do at the first place. They told me that lose wires can cause fire because of the heat and if the house would have burned, the insurance companies won't cover the losses because of the many loose wires sitting on the attic without a cap. 3- The fan and 7 lights in my living room are connected to same switch. That means at 2 pm when is hot if I want my fan to be on, i have to have 7 lights on. I hate to waste the energy. He short cut everything to save himself money and put me in this situation. 4- There are many switches that are not connected to nothing, there are bunch of switches in one of the bedroom that none of them work for the fan or light in the room. 5- He charged me another $800 to lay down some wires for my speakers that were not ever connected. If you don't know something, he won't educate you. He uses your lack of knowledge and get your money and still don't finish the project and you end of paying a lot more than what the most expensive estimate that someone else has given you. I am very unhappy with the service that he didn't provide for all of that extra money that he got from me. When I received an evaluation form from their company, I responded and told them how unhappy I am and no one responded to me. I believe he doesn't care for his customer only MONEY $$$$. read more

It is so hard to find a good electrician nowadays. Noah and his crew did a great job installing ceiling fans at our house. The work was clean and professional. They even used those cute shoe covers to show care for walking through the house. For once, we got what we asked for in a contractor. No bamboozling, no slight of the hand, just straight up good craftsmanship and professionalism. read more

I spoke with a gentleman last week and explained our project. He agreed to come by on Saturday to provide a quote, but said he would call that morning to provide an exact time he would be at our home. He mentioned it would be between 10 and 12. I did not receive a call, nor did he actually come. I called Monday to explain what had happened and provide them another chance for my business. The female who answered the phone took my information and said she would have someone call me. It's now been over 24 hours without a phone call, so clearly they have lost out on my project. read more

I used Far West Electric to rewire part of my house recently. Noah and his crew did a superb job! First class work, arrived when they said they would, and fixed problems that I hadn't even noticed yet. On top of that, he and his crew came across as very trustworthy and honest - very important attributes for people I invite into my home. I will certainly be talking with Noah about all my future electrical needs and highly recommend that you do too - this company deserves our business. (I am in no way connected with Noah or Far West Electric - I had never even heard of them until two weeks ago when I called for a quote!) read more

Noah and his team helped me out with a time sensitive issue and did an absolutely amazing job. I highly recommend him!!

Noah and crew rewired and installed the electrical service in our master bath remodel starting at the rough-in stage. Noah even installed power-efficient LED lights and color-changing LED tape in the soffits and under the cabinet base. They returned to complete the project during the finishing stage. They were professional, courteous and fast. They price was fair for this type of project. Excellent job. read more

One is star for for Noah's review is too much. We contacted him Saturda and he responded right away with the promise to scheduel a time on Sunday. Never heard back from him. Called on Sunday evening.. He tells us he forgot about the appointment and would like to reschedule for Monday. On Monday evening he doesn't show up. Called him again, now he doesn't have time until Thursday. After converstaion on Thursday afternoon his response is that his van is broken and he cant' drive until Saturday. Fine. On Saturday he calls and says he had an accident and van is no longer in service. Very unprofessional. If we could rate him negative stars, we would. He wasted an entire week for nothing. read more

Originally placed a service order request online. Didn't hear anything after a week so against my better judgement I called. Noah called me back that day later and said he'd call me back again after he had the schedule in front of him. That was a week ago and I never heard anything. read more

Noah of Far West Electric carried out a variety of electrical jobs for me: relocating dining room chandelier, insltalling new celing lights, outlets for picture lighting, ceiling fans, under cabinet lighting and multiple dimmer switches. He showed a high degree of professionalism: jobs completed in time frame specified, fairly priced, no mess left behind . I recommended him to family members involved in building trade (knowlegeable & particular) who were also very pleased with his work. I highly recommend him and he will be my firtst choice for future electrical work. read more

I need some work done on my OLD coach (double-wide trailer). Noah and his assistant where here on time and fixed what I needed fixed in a flash! Then I ask him to do the impossible and install a line large enough to handle a heater. Sure enough he was able to drop a line under the coach and now my room will be comfy enough to do my sewing hobby in. He also was able to put a light outside where there wasn't one and now the dark, black area on the side of my house is lit and feels much safer. Thanks Noah for having ethics and doing a great job! read more

I called Far West Electric on a recommendation from my local Home Depot, to install two ceiling fans in our house. Noah asked a few questions, gave an accurate quote in the first call, and was able to make an appointment in less than a week. He was friendly and courteous and even threw in an extra light switch installation for no additional charge upon discovering that one of the rooms required it. We are very happy with our new fans! Thanks, Noah and Far West! read more

Very please with service that Noah and crew provided. I had just moved into a new house and phone lines were not working. One contracting company I called out said it would take at least 4 hours to repair, then didn't show up when scheduled. I called Far West and spoke with Noah, who is very professional and came when he said he would. Took him less than an hour and did a very professional job and cleaned up after job. Pricing is very reasonable as well. Can't beat it! read more
