I liked the color of the nail polish. But the lady that did my nails didn't really shaped an almond style too well. I wasn't really fond that she kept stopping to answer the calls because I went in at 11:40am and came out at 1:10pm. She kept micromanaging the way I positioned my nails and if I was putting my hands in the gel tanning machine correctly. I've gotten my gel manicures done plenty of times on a regular basis, so I wasn't sure of what the issue was but I just kept my mouth shut the whole time. This isn't really a post to bash, but I just hope that next time, you don't stop and take phone calls or use a Bluetooth device to take calls as you are performing a service. I still tipped at the end because it's a small owned business. Just food for thought is all.

Quaint little nail spot! Lowkey she did make me bleed lol ngl but the price was wayyy cheaper compared to other locations, the lady was really sweet, they took me in right away and my nails turned out really nice despite the little nic on my nail bed.

Best place in the valley to get your nails done. I have lived in Woodland Hills all my life and I have been to 15+ salons around the San Fernando Valley. These two women who work so hard to make this place a thriving business and they exceeded all expectations every time. The ego in other salons especially in these areas want you in and OUT. When my friend recommended me to Fantasy Nails, I never looked back. I would drive 30 minutes in traffic to get my nails done here every two weeks. Thank you Tina and Susan for making my experience amazing! Please make sure you make an appointment! They are two VERY hardworking ladies and they take their time to make your experience special!

Very clean salon inexpensive pedicure, not much conversation, action or excitement. This place is silent like a library, not hustling and bustling with people or chat in the room like you would expect of a nail salon vibe. Technician spoke to me once the whole time..."choose your color". She grabbed my foot and pulled or pushed me in the direction she wanted me without any words. Didn't even try to make a conversation Plain bucket for pedicure not a spa pedicure bucket that fills from the chair and does bubbling foot massage. Water was cold and stayed that way since there was no hose or cold water drainage options at the chair. Was not offered any foot scrub options and when I asked for a pumice scrub she barely got the bottoms of my heels with a pumice block, no scrubs or callous remover at all, my feet are still rough after the pedicure. After pedicure she lotioned my feet only- leaving my legs dry and ashy didn't touch a single leg with lotion and gave no foot massage just slather of feet bottom and top with lotion. She got lotion on my toe nails then didn't clean them with alcohol before polishing. When I asked her to clean the lotion off before polishing she said she didn't get lotion on my toenails and wouldn't clean them?!?! What!!!! OMGGGG this place is weird. It was cheap though only $20. I guess you get what you pay for. Yes I still tipped her- I'm not an ass hole! No I Won't be back

Susan and Tina are the best. Great customer service. They take their time and are very friendly people. Love my nails every time! They have the massage chairs which is much appreciated. However, if you're a solo customer both of them will serve since I usually come before 4pm on a weekday when it's usually empty. My definite go to spot for nails!

I called in at 4 and they said they could fit me in at 5:30. I showed up and there's only two technicians working. I read they're sisters and it's their salon. I did wait about 20 minutes to be helped. They were really nice. My nails looks good, they did start to chip after two days though. My favorite was the pedicure. It wasn't anything special with oils or anything but she really took her time with not only getting the nails the perfect length but with the scrub. I got a pedi and mani for $32 which is what I pay for just a pedi at my regular salon. I would come again but there are a few things I wasn't a fan of. The main thing, the parking lot. There were guys smoking meth when I got out of the salon.

This nail salon is good but not as good as reviews! Nails look OK nothing to complain since I got regular manicure and pedicure. But I just hate when owner and workers speak in a different language when they service customers! Hello!? Why aren't you speaking in English? Or they just talking sh*t about us customers? Anyway when you about to leave they are always expect you to pay them tip! If you don't tip them they are talking in Thai when you leave and are not so welcome like when you first stepped inside, which is not nice! read more

Very poor customer service. She cut my nail halfway through with the drill, which then bled the rest of the appointment, and still hurts. She also rudely asked for my nationality and told me to pull down my face mask to see who I was, which was very weird and not following Covid guidelines, especially with the omnicron variant out now. I went here once before and thought it was nice but this experience was horrible and I will not be coming back. On top of it all, a few of my acrylics are actually crooked, which I asked her to fix and she said it was just how my nail looked and did not fix them, even though I know they aren't supposed to be crooked. This is disappointing because they were expensive and the experience should be enjoyable rather than rude. read more

After a less than stellar experience at my usual nail salon, I started looking for a new spot and I'm so glad I found Fantasy Nails! These ladies, Susan and Tina, do such a great job and are so so nice. What the salon lacks in ambiance it makes up for in attention to detail. I've been here twice and I called first both times, which I would recommend. My gel manicure and pedicure have been perfect both times and lasted for weeks. I'll definitely be back! This has to be my favorite nail place. I've been to quit a few but I always come back here, the acrylics last so long they do such a good job and they will do any design that you want:) I always go to Susan but Tina is definitely good as well. Tina and Her sister are so profesional and super clean. I was there for the first time and I was impressed, Tina did a gel Mani/Pedi in 2 1/2 hours. ( other places give you an appointment and end up seeing you later) which takes four hours. I really enjoyed it here. Very positive energy when you walk in is all you feel and relaxing. Thanks. Tina. These ladies do excellent work! This definitely isn't your fancy nail spa so if your looking for spa chairs and fancy scrubs this isn't for you. However their work is detailed and clean. I only wish they had a better nail polish selection. I definitely recommend bringing your own if you expect a huge selection you won't find it here but their prices are GREAT! read more

Came here same day appointment for a mani and pedi. Took almost 2 hours to get me out of here. There was only two people working and it was so slow. The person that did my mani was shaking so much it was terrifying. I paid $125 for both myself and my mother. Both got mani and pedi. Will not return. Place is not clean either. read more

This is my go-to nail place. Susan and Tina are very talented ladies. They always do a great job on my nails. You def have to call in ahead of time. Because they're so talented,everyone wants to come in and get their nails done here. I've never had a complain on my nails. They're very affordable and I recommend anyone to come by and visit. This is more of a mom and pop shop nail salon. So don't expect and massage chairs or bells and whistles. This is great work at its finest. I'll take that over a massage chair any day! read more

I've been going to Susan for a few years now, and she's the best! I always bring in pictures of nail designs I like, and she can always do it, sometimes better than the picture! She is very meticulous and she takes her time so they look perfect. I can't go anywhere without people complimenting my nails. It's only Susan and her sister Tina in the shop, so it never gets too crowded. The shop is clean and they are both very friendly. I definitely recommend having your nails done here. read more

About a week ago, I had a show coming up and decided to try the gel manicure for the first time. I didn't know where to go, so I looked on yelp for a spot with good reviews and good prices, hoping that I would find a spot. I came upon Fantasy Nails, and luckily they had an opening. I went for the gel manicure and pedicure with Tina and Susan. They are a pair of very kind sisters :) MY MANICURE AND PEDICURE CAME OUT BEAUTIFUL! I am writing this one week later too, and everything is still looking amazing. I am very very impressed. I work a lot, and usually within a few days both the manicure and pedicure chip, but they did such a good job and everything looks beautiful. They have definitely earned a repeat customer. Found this place on yelp as I was going to be in the area. From the outside it looks like a hole in the wall but the inside is surprisingly clean.the woman was nice and took me a little earlier then my appointment since I arrived early. The tools seemed clean and she did a good job making all my nails look nice. I'm happy with the paint job. All in all I think this place is good in a pinch the only thing I would have liked would be a pedicure chair other wise I'd recommend it read more

I wish I could give this place a 10 star rating because hands down the best place I've been to with amazing prices. They deserve a lot more. Especially with their amazing service. I got my acrylics done by SUSAN and she was absolutely phenomenal!!!! She was so sweet, did her time even tho they were closing. Most people didn't take me in but they did with no hesitation. So I am really grateful. She did not rush. She is super skillful! Made her I was happy with the work every step of the way! And the ending result was much better than I anticipated. I'm sure everyone else there is just as graceful but I will always go back to her! Most people you don't make connections with or trust, but with Susan I can. I'm super happy with my nails and I'm going to come back again and again. I'm glad my friend recommended me to come here. Now I kno why! Thank you Susan and everyone else working there tonight. Came to get my nails done had an appointment and I came 15 minutes before . They made me wait 35 minutes I wanted a French tip on my nail they told me they couldn't do it because it take a long time n they about to close. Wtf they just wasted my time n they piss me off ..... In a pinched I Yelped for a salon close to my home and hoped for the best. *finger crossed* Fantasy Nails was one of the highest rated, but I saw problems from the moment I walked in. Lets start with the good: (1) Clean; (2) Sanitizing station for nail tools. The rest is possibly not bad but not what I expected. She is a one woman operation and not very organized. There was another lady in the salon but I got the feeling she was a helper. Ok, so the actual nail job - clear & white acrylics full set (I am black so pink never looked good to me) was OK. Susan kept having to get up to find things every few minutes. Um, excuse me but you knew what I was coming for - she asked over the phone - so when I arrived 10 minutes early, no one else there, you maybe could have been better prepared. The best thing she did was the thickness of the nails, perfect. However, a week later the clear gel coat started to peel, coming completely off several nails and partially on all the rest. This has never happened at other salons, but is not the worse thing. I keep clear polish at home so no big deal in the end. This salon is a mixed bag. I would come here for a new full set and skip the gel clear coat. The extra $5 was not worth it. I most likely will only come here in the future in the event of a true nail emergency. read more

Do not be fooled by the humble surroundings, the staff at Fantasy nails are skilled at their craft and take care of their customers like honored guests. It is difficult to find nail salons that offer the powder dip gel nails (which I am told are easier on the nail bed and this is true for me) and that are able to use the dip powder well (not too thick, not too thin). Susan is an artist! I couldn't be happier with my manicure and with the color she customized for me!! Thank you to other Yelp reviewers who helped me find this terrific salon. read more

It was okay, the staff are not that friendly. I made an appointment at the 11am but when I arrive they ask me to wait for about 30min. They had two client with them. So I wasn't happy with that situation but the result of my nail was good. So it balances out my comments on them. read more

Don't come here if you want anything other than a basic manicure. The ladies there are nice but can't do any nail art. And no glitter. All I wanted was a heart on one nail and they couldn't do that. I asked for a flower drawn on, showed a picture of a hibiscus flower and received your standard 5 dot flower with a rhinestone in the center. I'm so disappointed; my nails look like I did them myself. read more

Been looking around the valley for a good nail salon and i finally found one.. from reading all the reviews i decided to take a chance and im very satisfied and happy with the outcome. They did a wonderful job on my pedicure and gel mani. I showed a picture of exactly how i wanted my gel mani and she did an excellent job of copying it. I didnt even expect she would put a jewel. Thank you soooo much!!! Both ladies took their time making sure everything was done perfect and clean both toes and hands. Other places ive gone to, showed a picture of what i wanted and ended up not exactly like it. Price wise was top notch and very reasonable. Other places charges too much. All i can say is they obtained another customer who will be returning. Thank you once again. I love the nail job! read more

Susan does nice acrylic nails and she was very detailed and took her time to make sure that they were just how I wanted them. Only complaint would have to be that I waited nearly 45 minutes when I had made an appointment with her beforehand. I also got a pedi from here and they did a decent job. read more

Came in to this place because I really needed a basic gel manicure and this is at a walking distance from my house. Came in on a Saturday around 3pm and the place was somewhat empty. The clients that were getting services done, were already being finished up when I came in, there was a girl waiting before me. So only waited about 10 minutes. There were only two women working. They don't have those spa pedicure massage chairs. Everything seems pretty old school basic. Their equipment is clean, but the place is not very modern. It's a big place. But only about 5 stations. They had a good variety of gel and regular polishes. The lady that did my gel manicure was very nice and gentle. I don't have a large nail bed and they're not long either so we're limited with what we're working here. She cleaned up my nails very well. Shaped them really nice even though they're small. I really don't have a complaint about the service I got. It turned out to be $23. Very affordable. If you want something basic, I think you'll like the place. read more

Every single time they're so behind the owner doesn't say anything no one apologizes. I got my nails done it took 2 hours for regular gel. I asked for almond they did them round, the lady had to do five round of coats and my nails came out so bad different shapes. I did not pick the color she used on me. It was way different than the book , it was super see through and the shape was not right. I tried explaining to the owner how I felt and she was not understanding at all and said " next time pick another nail artist" and still charged me for a regular mani. The only reason I was going was for. Liz and Itzel that's it. I am attaching a picture because according to the owner, the shape it was perfect and the color was exactly like the book. The book was a deep dark blue and my shape is definitely not what I asked. I also communicated this to the Nail tech multiple times.

The gel polish chipped significantly, and 2 of my nails broke, which is not the level of quality I would expect from a gel manicure. I was busy watching the soccer game during my appointment and did not engage in or participate in the employees' conversations (although I did talk here and there about the game, just in case you're wondering ). My point was simply that the gossip (in Armenian) between the employees was loud enough for customers to hear, which I found unprofessional. I also don't believe I should be expected to spend more of my time returning to fix something that should never have happened in the first place, especially after only two days. I have no interest in returning. I wasn't looking for a solution. I was simply sharing my honest experience. One final point: your response incorrectly stated that I "engaged" in the employees' conversation. That is simply not true. Unfortunately, because you chose to make an inaccurate assumption instead of addressing the facts, you now have two negative reviews. Next time, make sure your information is correct.

The older lady who did my pedicure was rough, rushed through it, and didn't seem to care at all. At one point she even cleaned one of her pedi utensils on my foot, which honestly grossed me out. I had grown out my toenails specifically so they could all be trimmed to the same length, and she completely butchered them -- they came out uneven and just wrong. I don't know if it was because it was my first time here, but for something I paid for, I expected so much better. The only reason this isn't a one-star review is because of Jennie, who did my gel manicure. She was fantastic -- attentive, skilled, and clearly cares about her work. If I ever come back, it'll only be for her. As for the pedicure, I'm genuinely so upset about how it turned out. I won't be trusting anyone else here with my feet again.

From the moment I walked in, the aesthetics of the place were wonderful, modern and neutral. The smell was clean and fresh and the front desk lady was pleasant and offered me refreshments and a chocolate. The pedicure itself was fantastic! To avoid further tension, I picked a different color under pressure. I contacted them afterward, and the response was incredibly unprofessional. Management argued with me via text, citing "camera footage" to claim I wasn't actually uncomfortable. It's a shame that being polite and "smiling" while leaving is being used against me to deny that the service was tense. They offered a small discount for a redo ($15 instead of $25), but at this point, I'd rather go to a salon where the staff is actually friendly and I don't have to argue with management just to be heard. Edit: The owner ignored my private text regarding a technician speaking poorly about me, yet chose to respond publicly instead. This lack of professionalism is exactly why I requested a female technician. Furthermore, at no point was I offered a redo or even a basic apology for the hostile environment. Beware: if the staff is comfortable speaking negatively about clients in the salon, your experience won't be any different. Check the attitude before this business fails. RIP and good luck

Rude. Rude. Rude. I called and asked prices and they seemed reasonable. I arrive and with no client in the shop Susan tells me I needed to make an appointment because she is busy? No one was even there.. She starts putting the acrylic nails on, gets super glue all over my pinky. I will say she got the shape down, but only because I had standards. I kept asking to adjust her shaping a bit or make one a bit shorter and she told me, "you need a professional to do you nails" like are you not a professional? Should I be okay paying for nails that are not to my liking? Eventually I got so fed up with the jabs she was giving I told her I didn't want color and just do the clear coat and she had the nerve to say it was 5$ more for JUST the clear coat? but before she even did that I was done to so I said I'll pass on the clear coat also and just leave them buffed acrylic. Basically I am just going to leave and go to a different salon and have them actually clean up the mess she made with my cuticles and the glue. So upset. read more

I was in town visiting, and needed a place to get my nails done quickly, so glad I came here. This is a simple, no frills, "mom and pop" nail shop and for the price, service and quality, you can't beat that! I got a gel manicure done, and days later, the nails still look fresh! Tina did a thorough and wonderful job with my gel nails. They have a pretty extensive selection of gel and regular nail colors, and different brands to pick from. Susan and Tina are sweet, and their shop has been here forever! Getting an appointment beforehand is SUPER important if you're on a tight schedule--they only have two staff members, so trying to get your nails done as a "walk-in" will probably take a while. read more
