Nelly does my Manicure with the powder and Gloria does my pedicure. Both ladies are very talented and do an excellent job every time.

I have been a customer for 3+ years. The owner Nicole truly values her customers. She knows mostly everyone by name and also remembers your preferences. This is very clean spa and I always have a wonderful experience. The prices are aligned with the quality; you get what you pay for! I get so many compliments on my nails on a daily basis! My nails last for 4+ weeks without chipping or breaking when I use the organic powder. I've tried countless nail places in Rockland and this is where I prefer to go. The staff is friendly and I love the appointment reminder call. When it comes to nails, Fantasy Nails supports all the latest trends with several services to chose from. Excellent establishment and highly recommended. read more

Fantasy Nails - Beautiful matte nails! Long coffin nails, just in time for the fall transition. - Nail Salons Near Me - Nanuet, New York

Really bad experience, the girl spent an hour and a half doing the gel powder. It turned out horrendous, I will post a picture so you can be the judge. Super bumpy, uneven, the girl cut my cuticles in 4 different places with the machine, not shiny, looks rough. Worst of all I spent $35 on them! I usually do not post reviews but I am super disappointed. On a lighter note, the staff was nice and friendly, it was just the technician that did my nails did a really terrible job. I have seen someone else's nails who got gel powder at this same location and they looked beautiful, so I guess I will find out who the name of that technician and request her if I decide to go back. read more

Found this place on yelp and was referred here by a friend. It was a really good experience for my first time here! They give you water bottles, very refreshing to see (no pun intended) considering the many salons I've been to don't offer. I got a regular mani pedi ($25 M-W special). I love the results! I recommend this nail salon! I want to come back and get a gel manicure because they do have a large selection to choose from. read more

I have been going here for over 5 years and love Nicole and Sita. They are phenomenal in making sure you have a great experience. Recently noticed that some of the girls have a little attitude. I usually get my nails done by another tech who was off when I went so I was given another tech who did my nails prior. She seemed upset when she found out my appointment was with her. Her attitude was abrasive and a bit rude while doing my entire manicure. I guess she was upset that she did my nails prior and I switched to someone else. Nicole please speak to your staff as customers do sense the subtle rudeness. It's not often but enough that it could ruin the salon's reputation. read more

I have been going to Fantasy Nails for about 10 years. At my previous nail place I would constantly get nail infections and one nail would fall off each time between visits. I kept going back thinking it was something I was doing to my nails. But now at Fantasy Nails, I have never gotten an infection, they look beautiful and my nails last for at least 3 weeks. The place has been recently remodeled and the place is clean and attractive. They sterilize their equipment. Prices are reasonable, $25 for gel and I have never had a problem. Nicole, the owner, is a sweetheart and will bend over backwards to please. I am now getting a new procedure of dipping into gel powder. It's great! It's faster to do, dries instantly, lasts at least 3 weeks, beautiful colors and best of all no UV machine. It's a new procedure that very few if any other nail places are using. It takes skill and patience to do it, and most of the operators at Fantasy Nails are trained to do it. I've never seen anyone come back or complain that their nails were poorly done, so the negative reviews here really surprised me. read more

I used to LOVE this place and have sent so many people there! But when the owner Nicole isn't there - the Staff absolutely is more relaxed and unprofessional. MonaLisa in the front needs more training and a lesson on customer service etiquette. I'm not sure if I'll be back because I left this morning more stressed out than when I came in. read more

This place was great, I'd never had a gel mani or pedi, so I did my research and came across Fantasy, I'm happy I did, the girls were super nice and did a great job at cleaning, trimming and shaping. They did mani and pedi at the same time but didn't rush to get t over with. It's been 2 weeks since I got them done and they're still great! Great experience through and through. read more

Horrible owner. The girl who did my nails was horrible. Don't go to this place. They should hire more professional workers. My manicure looks so horrible especially the gel powder way. First of all, the girl should learn to speak english as I did not understand a single word she was saying. Horrible communication and horrible chemicals around. Do not go to them. I think it was the Mexican girl who did my nails....doesn't have technique Bad job!!!!!! read more

Been looking for a place to be my regular spot, but I will definitely not be coming here again. The girl who was working on my feet just left mid job and had someone else finish up. It wasn't like she had to do something else she just didn't want to service me. I've never felt more unwelcome. She tried to then stop the Spanish girl who was doing my Mani and make her do the pedi for someone else. I refused to switch people mid job. Never again. read more

This nail salon is very unclean! I was in shock the whole time I was there, not to mention rude staff with attitudes and no nail skill. I tried to get help and ask for them to clean up station before doing my nails, dirty looks and a quick clean up to appease. After "organic" nail manicure was awful. I opted out of pedicure. The nails look HORRIBLE all started falling off (not normal) after three days. Please save your nails and money and go anywhere else if you have any standards at all. read more

They do a good job, but... I was talked into the organic gels which I was excited to try after doing gels for years. It's a long process and includes the dreaded drill at every layer. Several coats/layers later, they do look nice. My problem is all the dust from the drilling. Every time I went, I'd come home & have an asthma attack. I even tried wearing a mask, but still got sick. I'd go for a non-organic, but the dust would still be a problem. So, anyone with breathing difficulties, beware. read more

This place is the worst. They are never on time. If you call and ask to speak to the owner/manager you have to give your SSN, military ranks among other things then they tell you "no you can't speak to Nicole". They DO NOT welcome new customers. I have been going to another nail salon for 4 yrs and the management changed so I decided to come here. It has been my two worst nail salon visits in years. You don't believe call and ask for the manager and say you would like an appointment with Nicole. Good luck. read more

I love it here! I wear the organic powder nails from here and I ALWAYS get tons of compliments on my nails. Ask for Siya! She does an amazing job and my nails last really long when she does them. She is super neat and always makes me feel welcome. I definitely recommend getting an organic set or and organic fill here from Siya!! read more

Got a gift card to this place. What utter chaos. I had a 12:30 appt and didn't get called until 12:45, and only because I threatened to walk out. The woman sitting next to me had a Noon appointment. A woman with a baby, who was a walk-in, waited over an hour. Why wait? There are a million nail places around here. Anyway, once you get past the fact that they have no clue how to keep an appointment book, the girls are very good and very sweet. However, I won't come back. Either you appreciate your customer's time or not. A pedicure is supposed to be relaxing, not annoying. read more

Recently had an appointment with Gloria. She was fairly rude throughout the entire process. I hear that she's very good otherwise, so perhaps it was an off day, but I really had an unpleasant experience. read more

I haven't been here in several years and gave it a try a couple weeks ago for a basic mani/pedi. The pedicure still looks great. The salon is very clean... not what I remember from years ago! I will return read more

I really like when Nicole does my nails she is the Best , however can't say the same for her staff they really need more training. In less than a week my nails where broken, this is my second time with someone other than Nicole and this is the outcome. Receptionist are also very nice and welcoming. read more

I went to this salon to get a full set . 3 days later my nail fell off. Later on I was playing with my daughter and another one just fell off . Didn't hurt nothing . By Day four I had four nails missing from doing my daily activities that I have always done. Ive had no problem with my nails at other salons . I could even see the other nails breaking . I called them and they told me to come in we will redo all of your nails for free. I get to the salon and she told me that the acrylic doesn't hold correctly (since when ) We will give you the gel and you will pay 40 . I said no I was just here less then a week ago and paid 40 why are all my nails falling off I'm not paying 40 again . So instead of giving me a new set she put new tips on the fingers that fell off and then the other ones that I still had she just glues on . I had some fingers with gaps in them bc they were growing and others brand new . 2 days later my ring finger she just fixed fell off . Then my thumb that she glued came off when I was petting my dog . I got mad and tired and just took them all off with no issue . Every other nail set that you try to take off is very hard to do . I could have gotten a better set of nails from cvs. read more

I am on fire right now. I just left there after being there for an hour and a half, and did not even get my nails done. Apparently they are always running behind schedule, so be prepared to wait. Everything started off great with a pedicure that started on time and ended on time. But, my 3pm nail appointment never happened. After waiting half an hour, I asked what time I was going to get started, and I was told 3:45pm. That's not okay. Nonetheless, the owner who was supposed to do my nails, said nothing to me. It was the assistant who told me how long it would take only after I had to ask. So... not only was my appointment running 45 minutes after scheduled start time, but if I didn't ask, then I would have never been told how lat things were running. So I paid with a gift card I received and left. Now I have money on card that I will never use because I will never go back, and my nails are not done for my birthday tomorrow. FML. read more

My mom and I moved to Rockland from Jersey and couldn't find a good place. We came cross Fantasy Nails. We loved the fact that the staff were Spanish and took their time. We started going here religiously but every time we went there, there was an issue. The Indian girl that receives people when walking in to the location and books appointment is by far the rudest person that I've come across at a nail salon. She told me that I couldn't make an appointment for a morning opening because there wasn't any available but when my mom called she said she had appointments available. When arriving to the location I explained that I wanted organic gel but that i wanted the color because before I had gotten the powder with acrylic nails and this time i just wanted the color on my nails. She told me that I couldn't do that and i told her I had seen people do it but she said no that they didn't do that because it wouldn't stay. My mom ended up getting gel powder on her actual nails and the person taking care of her said that it could be done. When arriving without an apppointment she took my aunt ( who didn't have an appointment) and my mom ( who had an appointment) and told me to sit and wait. I sat and waited for an hour and no one came up to update me about who was going to do my nails or if they couldn't even do my nails. This girl walked passed me a few times and even brought my mother coffee but didn't even mind checking up on me or updating me. After waiting for an hour i decided I just didn't want to get my nails done because it's always an issue at this place. I leave but my mom stays behind and an hour later she calls me telling me that she got into an argument with the receptionist (manager) because she told her that someone would be right with her to do her toes and then after sitting there for an hour she informed my mom that they couldn't take care of her. Mind you, my mom had an appointment. My mom tried to complain to the owner and the manager was just trying to keep them from talking and making my mom look bad because she didn't want to get in trouble. I like the girls that work there but I will not be returning here since their costumer service is less than one star. Good thing is that they aren't the only place that use organic powder in his area. I advise the owners to fix this issue because they will be losing their costumers because of who manages their place. I don't know if it's costumer service or this girl just has something against us. read more

I should have known better when I walked in and saw that the nail polish selection looked old and crusty. However, I was greeted very professionally. I asked about a manicure and pedicure. The woman told me it was $25.00. She took me right away. One woman started my pedicure, while another woman worked on my manicure. Things were going well, until the manicurist showed me a list of other services (attempted up selling). The list showed that they were having a special, however, the woman spoke absolutely no English. She just pointed to the list. The pedicurist and the woman next to her did the talking and told me that the price was still $25.00. Of course, I said yes! However, when it came time to pay, the manicurist showed me the bill for $35.00. Both the pedicurist and other technician corrected her and said it was $25.00. The manicurist got really angry. She started to make a scene. At that point the owner/manager came over. I explained the situation and the owner made the adjustment. But, the manicurist was still bitter and proceeded to talk negatively about it in spanish to her coworkers. After my job was finished, I tipped the pedicurist because she did a good job, but I will not be back. There really should be more regulation on these nail salons. read more
