Many use the cheapest and unsafe products to save a buck. I've know people who have gotten nail or fungal infections from dirty nail salons. Safe to say I have major trust issues with NY area nail salons. I did my own mani and pedi for 17 years! I was glad when my friend referred me to Gigi. The first time I had an appointment I was impressed. She had an actual dust machine that prevented all the acrylic dust from flying into the air (SAFETY FIRST). Her demeanor was extremely professional and pleasant. I love the fact that she always practices very sanitary methods and is punctual about keeping clients on time. I always get numerous compliments about my nails from strangers after each manicure. I never have the same look when it comes to my nails and I'm very adventurous when it comes to trying new styles. Gigi is able to give me the latest trends and looks without any hesitations. Her creativity, continuous education in cosmetology and superb client hospitality are amazing. Also her prices are affordable and the salon is exquisite. I don't trust anyone with my nails. I've had nails stay on for 6 weeks because she is great at applying the product to my nails. The woman working on me was named Michelle and did an outstanding job. I'm not big on pedicures, only having one several years ago at the behest of my wife when my feet were in a serious state of disrepair. My feet were like the day they were issued when I left, soft and smooth.
