Run don't walk away from this place. I am new to town and looking for a place to get my nails done regularly. I spent $150 on services yesterday and am unhappy with the unusual thickness of my nails. When I went in to ask for them to fix them the lady first blamed it on the polish I chose. I then told her I am 63 years old and have been doing this a long time. Then she asked me why I didn't tell the lady I wanted them thin yesterday, again blaming it on me. I said listen, I spent a lot of money yesterday and you will either fix them or you won't. Just let me know. She then started yelling at me when I said you are yelling ahe said you think I am yelling at you? And walked away. Then a "gentleman" told me I would have to wait in line (there is 1 person in Front of me) and that I would have to wait about 2 hours. They do not stand behind the services they provide and should not be in business. They were actually very nasty with a dissatisfied customer. This is the second time I've been to this salon and both times I left unhappy. The first time I went for a pedicure and the nail tech cut my cuticle too low and then proceeded to take off a healed scab on my big toe. This was extremely uncomfortable and unnecessary, pretty sure it's also unsanitary. The scab was absolutely nowhere near my nail. I requested regular polish which also seemed to annoy her. This second visit, I decided to try doing an overlay. They didn't know what that was so i explained that it's when you put the acrylic directly on the nail - no tip. They were annoyed I requested regular polish again. 3 people were saying I should get gel after I clearly said I'd prefer to do regular polish. The nail tech went through the normal process - she knew the steps but rushed through every single one of them. My nails were uneven - I asked her to even them out with the file and she insisted they were even. I filed it myself. She then rushed through painting and kept touching them with her finger to see if they were dry and then messed up several nails so needed to redo them. She was annoyed and so was I! It took wayyyyy too long for what I requested and it's not even a clean French manicure. I was over it - I stopped caring and just decided to leave. I won't be going back. Service was decent, I asked for ombré dip and was told it was $15 extra. Okay cool. My tech kept asking the other techs about it and when it came time to finish, she put some white on the tip and blotted it out. That was definitely not ombré. When I was paying and put a tip, the guy who was running my card yelled at me when the tip was 25%. The sign by the desk said 25-40% tip expected. This is my second time there and by far I had the best gel mani and pedi. The massage was 10 minutes Joli was a great tech. I was thirsty and asked for water she was so kind to get it for me(yes water comes with the service). I was so relaxed and left content will be back and will ask for her. I've been coming here every since they opened a couple years back for my acrylics and facial waxing. I've only walked out disappointed a few times, but all in all I've had really great experiences here. My nails always look nice when I leave and I'm a happy customer a large percentage of the time. Sonny is great. She's so kind and the most fluent in English there. The only difficulty I've seen some clients encounter is the language barrier, however the staff is committed to working hard and doing a good job. I had may nails done for Mother's Day as a gif from my daughter and it turn out a disaster the male filing my nails, cut my pinkie {small finger) I was bleeding, then he got angry and told me to seat and wait, I waited and some else finish my manicure. He didn't even apologize for what he did, instead blamed me for moving. I ask the front desk girl to give me a discount for what had happened and they told me NO, I then told them "I'm not paying " and she called the cops on me .I will never go back to this place they pushy to pick up color they don't even speak a little bit of English so we can communicate and always rushing to finish fast. Very bad customer services. We all deserve to be treated with respect and to have a little courtesy with tour clients when accident like this happens.So disappointing and ruined my Mother's Day. I have been going to this nail salon for quite some time now and really enjoy the service. The people here always treat their customers well and try to do their best to meet the expectations of their customers. I realize that there are some people you will never satisfy, but they will do anything they can to make you happy. The prices are comparative to other salons in the area and the best part is they are located close to home. I absolutely love Jenni and the work she does. I use to go religiously every other week until January the owner was very nasty to me when I asked for A certain person to be my tech. She continued to not be very friendly and gives me an attitude when I said I didn't mind waiting for this certain tech... then I decided to give it another try in March to see if she would be friendlier but no, this was not the case. The owner Sonny was very rude AGAIN. Will not be returning, she needs to work on her customer service skills instead of being nasty to her customers who ask a simple question. I get being busy and having to keep up with business demand but you should still try to be professional and courteous. I do not recommend them for walk in service, they act annoyed when you go in and do not have an appointment. So sad they lost a loyal customer. read more
