But with that being said, nice isn't enough when you jeopardize the health of every single customer who patrons your salon. During my visit, I encountered a total disregard for sterilization, cleanliness, and sanitizing of tools. It was BLATANT and negligent. Tools were pulled from a drawer and used on multiple people consecutively without any UV light sterilization or even a simple dip into a disinfectant solution. It frightened me and I feared days afterward of catching an infection or worse. How could a business care so little about something that is so heavily regulated by the health department and licensing office? There was truly zero effort for safety and I couldn't not write this review to warn others. Please go elsewhere if you even care a little about these things.

CONS The nail-salon smell started bothering me after a few minutes. The nail shaping was good, but the polish didn't cover the entire nail. The price of the basic manicure was great at $12, but it was definitely basic. There was no wash or pre-soak to start with, cleaning under nails, cuticle trim etc. I did receive a nail trim, file, cuticle push-back and polish. I will try another nail salon in the area next time.

They take their time and are meticulous with the mani/pedis. I find that my gel manicures from here last longer than any other salon in the area. I usually get a green tea spa pedicure which includes a foot scrub, mask, heat therapy, 15 minute leg/foot massage, paraffin treatment, and callus removal. Mid pedicure, they'll even offer a little bottle of water and coconut crackers as a little treat. They also recently installed new massage chairs for an added comfort. They are usually able to accommodate you day of if you come early, but if you need a specific time, I recommend calling in advance and making a reservation. There is also a parking lot to the side of the salon which makes parking here very convenient. I always leave here feeling very pleased with the service and quality of the nails. It's a little further away than the salons near my home but it's 100% worth the extra drive. The techs commute to the salon from Queens everyday so they have a long commute and a long working day, which makes me appreciate them so much more!
