Very few American-Chinese//Canadian-Chinese dishes on the menu - though they exist. This may be a regional Chinese restaurant but I do not recognize the region. One visit and three dishes convinced me I have to go back rather than just eating around town. In the not to be missed department: Mushrooms fried in egg yolk. These are the most interesting fried mushrooms you will ever have. They are also the richest fried mushrooms you will ever have. You will adore every single bite - and if you are lucky you can eat 1/3 of a serving before being totally full. I believe the trick here is that the batter is 100 percent egg yolk no white no nothing else. They also do a salt and pepper tofu that is creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside. We ordered our usual dim sum items like beef rice rolls, shrimp hai gow, etc. The food was pretty good and tasty. Service was gruff and impatient. Would we go back? Yes since the food was pretty good.
