My 12 year old daughter wanted to get her nails done/acrylics for school. She called in the morning to get a price. They told her it was normally $45. But for kids it was $40. So I took her in to get them done. When it was time to pay. They told her it would be $55. I explained to them she called in the morning, and a man told her the price of $40 for a kid. He said that is the price for small kids. That she is the size of an adult. Not sure what that meant. She is 12, and looks 12. Not sure what age they consider a kid? What age do they consider acrylics on children? 5-6? I've taken her before when she was younger and they wouldn't do them on her. So I think they scammed her with a price. She goes in, and then they change the price. Definitely will not be going back to them! Very upset with their customer service. read more

I can't say enough great things about Fancy Tips and Toes. I messaged the salon last night about make a reservation through Facebook and they responded to me immediately. I came in today asking for a full gel set and a gel pedicure. Jenny did my pedicure and was amazing. She was gentle with the scrubbing, which is very important on the bottom of my feet, and was very meticulous with her work. She was quick and was very friendly. Randy is a genius when it comes to dipped acrylics! At first I thought that I wanted gel acrylics and then, when he told me about the dipped nails, I decided that it was more up my alley. Just the work that goes into this art form is detailed and tedious, but so worth it. I am beyond impressed with how my nails ended up, even with as nervous as I was leading up to it. In the end, I knew that I would be coming back here for all my nail needs. To make it even better, the total for both of these things was 90 (including the tip) which made me happy because the mid level gel pedi (which includes the callus remover) is normally more where I went before, and the ombré nail treatment, for a full set would have been at least $20 more somewhere else. I would highly recommend Fancy to everyone, even if you have been loyal to another shop! I look forward to my next appointment!! read more

I'm soo happy I've found a nail spa I feel super comfortable going to. I've been going to them since they opened. They are all sweet and kind very informative as well when it comes to my babies nail care. Our first visit the whole family got a service and we all enjoyed ourselves. On my recent visit I got a nail set with Holly and a pedicure and I loved it all. My nails are about 2 weeks old now and no lifting or discolor has happened I have a lot of nail growth as well from my pregnancy and they haven't messed up and still look shiny. I made reservations for my daughter, 2 friends and myself, 2 weeks ahead of time for her birthday. All she wanted was to get her nails done and have lunch. It was mid day on a week day. We showed up on time and they seated us. We told them it was her birthday too. They immediately started working on her 2 friends and my toes. My daughter sat there patiently, because she is a sweet girl. After 10 mins I asked if they could at least fill her tub with water so she could soak her feet. After another 10 mins of no one working on her I asked if they could stop doing my toes and do hers so she could at least have a nice time with her friends. They said oh yeah someone is coming now. Another 10 mins, she's now been sitting there 30 mins past her appt, someone comes over. Her friends were just getting done and they were just starting hers. They then made her friends move and eventually me, so she sat there getting her toes done alone and we all sat up front waiting. I was so upset. The manager or whoever was in charge said they were sorry, they were short handed. What they did is they mismanaged employees and catered to walk ins. This was the second time this happened to us, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt, well that was a mistake. He literally used Covid as an excuse. As I paid, with no offer of a percentage off for their bad management skills, we looked over and every chair was full with every person being attended to. It's just a pedicure, not the end of the world, but it was a special day and put a damper in the day. I will never go here again. read more

I have been going to another salon for quite some time for dipping powder. In the beginning the owners did my nails and they were awesome. But, gradually they started relying on others and my nails were turning out lumpy, not smooth. So, I decided to try this place yesterday. John did a fabulous job on my nails. Will not be coming here anymore. I asked for acrylic nails and they gave me MMA which is illegal and can cause extreme damage to nail/loss of nail. Super toxic as well. They do this because it's cheaper. I only found out because I had a nail tech from beauty school soak off my nails and they told me and it appears "gooey" and smelled "sweet" which is a sign MMA was used. Teacher also confirmed. Took forever to take my nails off without damaging my nails. Luckily I didn't leave them on my nails for too long only about a week or so. I only went to someone else because last time I got my nails soaked off by them it was burning and they used a drill on my nail too roughly it hurt so bad and thinned out my nail bed. read more

I tried this place out today for a dip manicure. The product turned out fine but the overall experience was not good. The receptionist young lady was very sweet and kind but the man who did my service was a complete jackass (I believe owner). He was jerking my hands around carelessly and was rude when I explained how I wanted my nails done. He said he does it "his way". I wouldn't be thrilled to be working during the holiday weekend either, but it's ridiculous to treat a customer like that as the owner/manager. I won't be coming back. read more
