It is frightening to see that we are NOT through this pandemic & some business/ people doesn't think it exists. This was the first time I tried this business. I wanted to treat myself to a gel manicure & pedicure...I was shocked at how things were done . The girl who did my pedicure took my old polish off with an "electric spinning filer " that burned my toes ... I mean.." OUCH "!! & did my calluses on my heals with what looked like a "small metal cheese grader ". The tools didn't look like they were cleaned ( each time between customers and files DIDN'T look new... ) I ALSO noticed that when another customer came in to get her nails done , the girl who came to sit down & do her nails for her was eating & didn't even wash her hands!!!! DISGUSTING ! I gave 3 stars ONLY because my girl was super nice & the manicure was pretty good overall. Sorry, but not a healthy business!! read more

I just finished my first pedicure here and I'm questioning whether to come back or not. For $40 I got a scrub, mask, hot towel and callous remover, which is quite a lot. But I come get pedicures for the massage. If more time was spent on the massage on my calves and feet, this would be the place to go. I have been to a lot of nail salons in fresno and haven't been 100% content but I'm so happy I found thIs place! Jenni did a gel mani for me and did a great job. The most recent time I decided to try dip powder for the first time. Hannah did an amazing job and was so nice to chat with. I am not used to the dip powder and they felt a little thick for my liking- when I reached out the manager a few days later they were extremely accommodating and Hannah thinned them out for me no extra charge. Cute new spot! I came in as a walk-in and was greeted right away. The wait was less than 5 minutes. I just got a full acrylic set with gel and I thought the price was pretty reasonable. It's a little more than I usually pay elsewhere but I'll definitely see if it was worth the extra. Besides, I'm paying for convenience since it's down the street from me. I guess the only concern I have was the nail filers. I was told to pay attention to nail salons to see they re-use their filers on their clients. And the one that was used on me was definitely used. I didn't have any problems afterwards, thankfully, so I guess it wasn't a big deal. But for those who care, please be mindful. I also noticed that my nail technician didn't talk to me at all or spark any conversation. But to be honest, that day I just wanted to relax and didn't feel like talking nor entertain. So I guess it worked out. But for those who care for a nail bestie or a therapy session, not sure if you will find it here. Or at least not with the person that worked on me. Wished I got her name, but she didn't share it with me nor have her name on the desk or the wall. What a find! Brand new business family owned. Walking in everyone was so welcoming and everything is clean and new. I was impressed with the care they took in cleanliness. They use disposable plastic liners in all their pedicure basins the files and scrubbers are a one time use. Their tools sealed in plastic are opened in front of you coming from their sterilizing machine. My experience was very relaxing, not rushed! The massage chairs are very comfortable! Came by for the first time to get a Pedicure. I was out of there like in 15 minutes!!!! The guy didn't scrub or clean my toes properly!! He was very insistent for me to pay $10 more for GEL, which I refused. He didn't seem to be okay with my choice. He didn't even turn on the massage chair or check to see if it was on! If you want a nail place where you can go to relax and get a well done job this ain't the place!!!! And he also added thinner to the nail polish! Came in for the first time yesterday an hour prior to closing. I waited no longer than 3 minutes to be seen. I was escorted to my chair and the lady who did my pedicure was fairly nice. The massage lasted about 2 minutes, the paint job on my toes are sloppy, and she cut one big toe nail shorter than the other. The paint has already chipped and today I can feel the throbbing pain on my toe where she went in too deep with her trimmers when she clipped the sides of my nails. I made an appointment with the owner for 2 GEL pedicures as a Mother's Day gift for my 80 year old grandma. I was excited about taking her to get her toes done and left this salon very disappointed. Let me start off by saying that my pedicure and my technician did an excellent job. Kim was her name and she provided quality service. My issue isn't with Kim, my issue is with the male technician that provided the pedicure service on my grandmothers toes. ( It was not the manager. It was the other male technician.) when we were waiting to get our pedicures done the woman sitting next to me kept asking if the male technician was going to be able to do her manicure. The manager came over and politely told her that the other male technician had 2 appointments (and pointed at me and grandma). The woman was insistent that the male technician did her manicure. As he was doing my grandmas toes, he asked her what pedicure she wanted and I told him that we both were doing GEL pedicures. Not only did he not do the gel polish, he didn't massage her legs or complete the service. He was so preoccupied with rushing her service so he could do the other woman's manicure. My grandma was looking at Kim doing my pedicure and was getting really upset because she didn't get the same service provided. He didn't even come back to take the paper out from her toes. Kim was nice enough to take the stuff out from between my grandmas toes and put her shoes back on. I'm very upset with the experience that I had because this was supposed to be a happy day to pamper my grandmother and now I'm having to wait to see about getting my money back. As much as I liked the service that I received from Kim, today wasn't about me. Today was supposed to be about my grandma. So I will not be coming back. After reading previous reviews I can see that this isn't the first complaint against this technician. I really hope the owner makes this situation right. You don't do business this way, and you certainly don't keep customers this way. Update: if I could give this place -0 stars I would. After many attempts to reach the owner of the salon I have yet to reach a solution regarding the absolute horrendous service I received for my grandmas nails. This was supposed to be a day to pamper her, but we were left disappointed and frustrated. I spoke with the "manager" Randy who refused to give me the owners contact information because he was conveniently on "vacation." As a consumer, I would've expected better service than this. I am incredibly disappointed at the service I received for my grandmas toes and even more disappointed at the businesses lack of attempt to correct this situation. Yes they offered to redo her toes but my grandma didn't want that. She wanted to take her business elsewhere. This is not how you retain customers or treat paying customers in general. When someone isn't satisfied with the service they received you should offer to correct it. And considering this isn't the first negative review on the male technician that didn't complete his job on my grandmas toes, I would've fully expected a different course of action to be taken. Overall, I am highly dissatisfied. And you can guarantee I will never recommend this place to my friends or family. read more

So I was passing through town and needed my nails done ASAP for a wedding. Saw the reviews and decided to book with angel. I arrived for my 1pm appt and angel was with another client... ok cool. 30 minutes pass and FINALLY I get in the chair. If it weren't for my flight the next day I would have walked out after 15 minutes. What's the point of having an option to make an appt when you don't go by appt times?? Ok so now my nails, they look messy and have a trident gum shape. It looks like a kid painted glitter on my nails and the Rhine stone is off center on my thumb. Literally was crying on the inside but I had no other options at this point. My toes came out nice but my hands looks a hot mess. This is the 3rd time I have made an appointment with Angel and get there and they say she has gone home sick. She was the best they had. She had patience, an easy touch and her art was on point. I have had a cpl of the other techs and they are just not good. The rush and end up nicking me in more than one spot. The end result is clunky. Oh my...no...just no. I was a walk-in and perhaps that was my first mistake. All I needed was a callous treatment removal. In order to receive that service, I was told I had to get a pedicure and add on the callous removal. First, I didn't need a pedicure and second, I wasn't interested in being in the salon longer than the time it takes to have calloused skin removed. Moving on...callous removal was uncomfortable and burned my feet. I shared this with the person sawing away on the bottom of my feet with a file that looked like a cheese grater, but she just kept going. Thusly, I leaned down and splashed water from the basin on my right foot to stop the intense burning between my toes. Still, she "sawed" on. There's much more but I'll spare the details. Don't know this woman's name but I would recognize her uncaring face in a crowd. NEVER AGAIN. Oh, yes...since I paid for polish I had her apply polish. After running a towel across the wet nails on my left foot all she did was reapply a clear coat to the lumpy polish. She did such a poor job that I removed the polish once I arrived home. read more
