This is a really great hole in the wall spot! Delicious sushi for a good price. There isn't any outdoor seating and the inside can get a little crowded, but their service is fast and efficient. They have several traditional Asian cuisine options as well as sushi. Their traditional roles range from $5-$7 and come with 6-8 pieces. I personally love the Holiday Roll! They also have speciality roles ranging from $10-$15. The sushi is always really fresh and has great flavor. I love the spicy mayo sauce. For dessert we enjoyed green tea and vanilla mochi. This is by far the worst Asian/Sushi place I have ever eaten at. Our waitress speaks to us loaded like we can't understand when I asked her to please repeat what she just said. If you ask what the food comes with she responds back rudely. We ordered (California Rolls-Mackerel Roll-Crab Sticks -Krab Rolls) all of it was horrible. The Susji plate served with a brown wilted lettuce. No Wasabi. The Phai-Thai noodles unflavored watery. My daughters Hibachi Chicken was so gross who messes up California Rolls? I don't recommend you eat here. Save your money, your time and your taste buds. Don't believe their high reviews. Trust me horrible service horrible food. Get McDonald's instead. Fancy Sushi is a nice little place in the Clermont Landing shopping center. This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in the city! Serving up Japanese cuisine, they have everything from spring rolls, miso soup, hibachi, tempura, bento boxes, and of course, sushi! My favorite here is the Tofu Teriyaki. It comes out on a sizzling plate like you get with fajitas, bubbling in a delicious and sticky teriyaki sauce! The tofu is silken and batter fried and because of the hot plate, the vegetables get slightly caramelized. So delicious! I get this every time. My second favorite is the Bugs Bunny roll. Great for vegetarians, it has tempura carrots and asparagus inside and is topped with fresh avocado. A must try! The restaurant itself is pretty small. Though, there's a combination of booths and tables, as well as seating at the hibachi counter, good luck getting a table with a big group during their really busy hours. This place apparently allows dogs that are not service animals into their establishment. My son is allergic to dogs and his eyes became watery and itchy shortly after the dogs arrivals. I love dogs but rules are rules for a reason. And this place is way too small to have dogs inside when there is a possibility of allergies present. read more

This is my favorite Sushi restaurant that is nearest to me. This restaurant is in a busy shopping plaza, so after shopping, getting a massage,a manicure/pedicure, watching a movie,etc. you can get your sushi fix here! The staff is helpful and will accommodate your needs. It's been very clean,the tables are cleared and cleaned up right away. It's a small place, which doesn't bother me. They have booths and tables,and can accommodate a group of people. I've tried several of the menu items,and although it's hard to pick my favorites, I will list my very favorite Signature Rolls in order. Donkey Kong,Volcano, Mexican Shrimp, Sunshine, and Dancing Dragon. I know,I'm not that adventurous when it comes to sushi! The hibachi here was delicious, and that's what I recommend. Noodles and rice and veggies were great. The sushi however was underwhelming. It is a budget-y sushi restaurant, but we have had better. The sushi dressings tasted like high fructose corn syrup and there soft crab roll had very minimal crab. The Donkey Kong roll, almost a dessert roll, however was great. Fried banana with tempura shrimp. The sashimi tasted ok. The appetizers were kind of concerning. Another reviewer mentioned their calamari stretched like stringy spaghetti and I had no idea what they were talking about until it happened to us. Turns out it was the dough. It wasn't cooked through, and stretched an inch or so upon biting. The soup, though free, doesn't appear to be miso soup and wasn't so good. Again, I loved the hibachi. After sorting through some Yelp reviews looking for a sushi place near me, I stumbled upon Fancy Sushi. With it only being a 15 minute drive from me I figured, why the heck not!? Pretty much one of the best decisions I've made recently. On the outside, the place doesn't look like much. Just your typical strip mall restaurant. Definitely doesn't stick out much. I had to drive around a bit to even find the place. It's also on the end hidden in a little corner, which also makes it a little hidden. The inside of the restaurant was nice, but again typical, small sushi restaurant. A few tables, the area where they make the sushi, and some seating around that. Only a few other parties were in the restaurant so it was easy to get a table. We were promptly seated by a very smiley, pleasant waitress. Now the important part: the food! I ordered a tuna avocado roll with miso soup and my boyfriend ordered spring rolls. All of the food was on point! If I wasn't so full I would have definitely ordered more. If you live near/are visiting the Clermont area definitely check out Fancy Sushi. You won't be disappointed!! I will most definitely be back :) read more

A couple doors down from the movie theater in Clermont. I see some comments on the service here. The waitress greeted us, took our order, checked on us and was pleasant. We had a sleeping toddler with us and she was great with him then and after he woke. Slow service, but we did go when it was packed and got the last table. Sushi isn't fast food, so there's that. OK, WE PIGGED OUT. My wife, mom, aunt, son and I devoured 9 rolls and would have easily polished off even more had we thought to order more. I think we got 4 or 5 of their specialty rolls and then 4 or 5 smaller ones. All were delicious! Honestly, I can't recall the names of any of them at the time, but really who cares? Get the ones with ingredients you like and they're going to make it great! Good sauces and the ones that were supposed to be warm were warm and the cool ones cool. All was fresh! read more

Ahh! We finally found a sushi restaurant worth the trip!! My wife started dinner with the sea weed salad. She gives it a two thumbs up! I had the sashimi appetizer. Sooooo good! The fish couldn't have been fresher unless it swam to the table. For dinner we had the love boat. If you're not sure and want a good mix of sashimi, sushi and two rolls that's the way to go. Stopped in here after a day of riding on the bike trail out near Clermont. Boy were we glad that we did!! It was a Saturday night just before 8 and the place is right near Epic Theatre. I was kind of expecting it to be crazy busy with frazzled servers. Much to my delight, they had it all under control and were pleasant. We ordered 2 apps [the gyoza and the beef negimaki], the Philly roll, and the Snow White roll. Everything was amazing and tasted fresh and was served relatively fast despite a large party of 10-12 people in the somewhat small establishment. The gyoza beat the beef nagimaki in my opinion, but both apps were good. They came around to all the tables with a free small sample app, it was a piece of Krab tempura with cream cheese inside of it covered with a sweet and salty sauce. Can't go wrong with those things, IMO. I like junk food :) And to finish up our dinner, they came by with a half of an orange cut up inside of the peel [very cute!] drizzled with I think was honey and topped with sesame seeds. Wonderful finish and the second freebee of the night. Can't beat that. If I lived closer to Clermont, I think this would be my go-to sushi house. read more

This place might not look like much on the outside, but boy is it a little gem! The sushi is fresh and delicious, the price is good, and the clear soup is the best I've ever had! The staff is friendly and they offer very quick service. Sometimes we come in and are seated, order, and eat all within 30-40 minutes during dinner. Even when they're packed! I really like this place, and I also appreciate that it is in Clermont. It's a bit pricey, so keep that in mind. My husband and I like to do the takeout option because you get a lot of food for your order. They are really great about having a takeout order ready to go shortly after you call. The Bento boxes and teriyaki dishes are super yummy and, again, come with a ton of food so you will not leave hungry. The sushi is good, and I like their special menus. If you dine in, sometimes they'll bring by a special treat compliment of the chef. Tips: Parking can be challenging to find nearby in that shopping center, as it is part of a larger movie theater lot. You'll eventually find something but it may not be close to the restaurant. Score is misleading! Went in based on 4 stars with over 100 reviews. Servers weren't hospitable, and hot tea wasn't hot. We ordered basic sushi rolls, with intent to order specialty rolls after. But never ordered any because the rolls we received weren't good. Rolls were too skinny and the rice tasted old and the texture was stale. I don't know if this was an off day or if people in the area have never experienced fresh sushi. Sushi rice should be soft and sticky with enough rice wine vinegar to season the rice. The fish should be sooo fresh you can smell the ocean. Not sure why is rated so high but I hope they read this review as constructive because I wanted them to be good. To be honest they had a solid four maybe a five until just now. Second time here in as many days. We loved it but found that they nickel and dime you. Came in today we both ordered and I even ordered again because it is good, I asked for another refill and was told 2.50 to do so. On top of the $2.00 extra for avocado ($1 extra yesterday) I'm kind of sad because I really enjoyed it but I hate giving my money to greedy people.... At least offer me a water... The staff at Fancy Sushi are awesome - they are attentive, friendly and always have great recommendations. Love sitting at the sushi bar - it's make the visit even more special. They have Kani salad that has a little kick that just pops in the back of your throat.
