I have been trying to contact Hanna ( previous eyelash specialist) about getting a fill since Friday and called the store numerous of times no answer but when I call with a different number they answer. So yes they have caller ID. I have been coming here for years and decided to change Eyelash tech to KIM (her friend) since Kim is on vacation I asked Hanna if she can service me she ignored me and when I pulled up she refuses my service because she's mad. How unprofessional on how she handled this also she talks a lot on the phone or with her friends while doing your lashes oh yeah she eats too! Unsanitary and unsafe to get infected in your eyes because she works eyelashes, you can never sleep or have peace when she's doing lashes ! Also I got into a miscommunication with Kim before she left to her trip about fill appointment and now she's mad at me too because she said she didn't hear me and I didn't show up when she said the next day. They are refusing my service because I'm annoying ? That's fucking BS naw they annoying and FOB-y af because they don't know how to communicate and after they hate on you! I never had a problem with anyone here and now I'm the bad guy for trying a new eyelash tech and their poorly Communication skills! This place has moved! It's in the same parking lot, but on the Fruitridge side - new address, but roughly the same location (and still the same phone number). It's now right next to the Swiss Buda bar. The new space they occupy is much larger, and is genuinely pretty - nice tile floors and paint, a large plasma TV, and lots of private rooms for eyebrow waxing and such. Prices are up a bit, though, so I have edited the prices from my previous review, below: In writing this, I realize I am completely outing myself, but I think that letting folks know there is an amazing deal to be had is more important than my vanity.... Fancy Nails is the best place to go for eyelash extensions. This is not your mom's 70's false eyelash strip, or those ridiculous Mac do-it-yourself eyelashes that always look horrible. The women of Fancy Nails, specifically Cindy, who is the most adept at this art, do individual eyelash extensions: they glue INDIVIDUAL false eyelashes to your real eyelashes for $60. (Lush and other high end salons charge $190 and do not do nearly as good a job). These lashes last for 2-3 weeks before you need a $30 touch up - you never even pay $60 again... you just "touch up" for $30. The whole process takes about an hour, and you will never need mascara again (although, you will need to curl them for optimal effect). And, because they are glued the lashes (not your eyelids) there is no risk of allergic reaction. They look glamorous, but natural - and if you get the occasional "Are your eyelashes real?" which is really annoying, I find it effective to say "Are your boobs real?" Think of your new extended lashes at the Victoria's Secret Infinity Edge push up bra for your lashes. Two caveats - they only have black lashes, and the manicure/pedicure service quality varies depending on who you get. read more

I have gone to Fancy/Fruitridge Nails for a few years, usually being assisted by Hannah... Pros: Fairly clean to be in the area that this is; usually not crowded with decent prices and excellent eyelash services. Cons: Appointments is usually the only way to get your eyelashes done without having to wait to be served. Will continue to go here. read more

Great eyelash extension work for less than half the price of most salon with an "upscale" name. I love my eyelashes, they are long and natural and does not look fake. However, the pedicure sucks so thank that lady for having me give three stars only. I was dissapointed about that but oh well, I went back to my favorite salon and had them redone the next day because I couldnt stand the way the lady did them here. Oh make sure to bring cash! No ATM cards accepeted here! Besides that, I love the 8 dollar manicure, awesome eyebrow waxing, and of course the eyelash extensions. Absolutely very impressed and content with my eyelash extensions she took her time and made me feel comfortable single lash extensions is what I was looking for with out having to pay $200, I called and made an appointment and they got me in quick, it took about 1 hr and they look beautiful!!! Heard this place from word of mouth. Its in such a hidden area! Address isn't as stated on Yelp. They only take cash!!! Good pricing for eyelash extension but I wasn't aware of them taking just cash. Lady was nice enough to let me walk out of salon after my service to go to nearby bar to use their ATM to withdraw cash (the nearby quick store won't let you take out more than $20 cash back - warning) However, after two days (I don't know if it's me that didn't properly take care of the eyelash extension) the extension glue (my guess) sting my eye a lot! It was to the point where I wanted to rip them off my lids. Even though the lady (didn't get her name) did such an amazing job! She cleanly prep my eyes and lashes and ask it I wanted natural or glamorous lashes I opt of natural. It lasted almost 3 weeks. I would definitly go back. read more

Just got my eyelash extensions done here and I loved them. Don't remember the name of the girl who did them but the end results were great. She was pretty fast, it only took a little over an hour, and you cant beat the price $65 for half volume half classic. I will definetely be going back for my fill. I only take 1 star off because although my lashes were exactly what I wanted at the end, it was a little hard to convince her I didn't want natural lashes. read more

I got my eyelash extensions filled in here. Yes they were cheap No the lady that did my lashes didn't even/balance them out. My left eye is a monolid (no crease) so I usually have to get lashes that are extremely curled ( also known as a D curl which I had gotten done when I went home for the holidays) The lady put the tape under my eyes and proceeded to constantly text and exit the room while I'm stuck in the bed with half of my lashes applied and the fumes from the glue are still pretty damn potent. It bothered me that she kept touching her phone to either text or call people for sanitation reasons ( I don't want pink eye or infection ) After she was finally done/bored with her phone she quickly did the rest of my eyes which was impressive. It made me wonder why didn't she just do my lashes and deal with her phone later??! After she was done she ripped, yes RIPPED the tape from under my eyes, they got swollen and red, and the fumes were still pretty strong. The lashes on my left eye are already drooping down which is annoying because now I'll have to make an appointment somewhere else to get them fixed and probably get a new full set. I will not come here again for the fact that this placed lacked customer service, sanitation problems, safetly/eye care problems ( why the hell would you rip tape off a person's eyes when you should know that the skin around the eyes are sensitive already?!) and the quality. read more

Price wise, this is a great place to come for eyelash extensions. However, this is not a good place to come if you have sensitive eyes or care about sanitation or customer service. I was escorted to a small room and told to lie down on a massage type bed. There was also another customer in the same room getting her eyelash extensions with another lady. My lady begin the process by putting tape (yes tape!) under my eyes and very close to my eyeballs which caused minor irritation. She then asked me if i wanted natural or long, i said natural which ended up looking long anyway. Slowly, she started putting individual lash on my lids. My eyes stung and watered a bit but nothing unbearable (beauty is pain right! ahh the things we do to look good). It wasnt a bad start but it made me really uncomfortable when she started yapping non stop with the other lady in the room. There were moments where i can hear her playing on the phone and using the same uncleaned hands to put on the lashes (ewww). Anyway, my eyelashes look great after! but i'm not sure i can sit through another session. Sure, beauty is pain but is it worth potentially losing my eyesight? Maybe? Tips: *clean your eyelids before going there because they don't do it for you *the place is actually called Fruitridge Nails, not Fancy as stated here, and it is right next to a liquore store (it is located on the opposite side of Billiards) * you can do walk-in because there are more than one person available to do the job but making a reservation the day of might be a better idea *they use synthetic lashes *It takes about an hour for the whole process * Cash Only --$60 read more

Had the eyelash extensions done here, I don't recommend because they do not use the right glue so the lashes fall out easily and they were painful and itchy plus when I tried to take them out nothing worked so I ended up pulling my real lashed out and it was very painful and upsetting. I don't know how their nail service is, but I don't recommend the lashes because they are cheap on their quality of product. read more

Fancy Nails has moved locations - same strip mall though. I think it's now called Fruitridge Nails, the the same people run it and work there. They no longer carry OPI polish which was disappointing, but they still gave me a pretty good pedicure. BUT the other clients were . . . uhm . . . unusual. One was a prositute loudly making "dates" with her johns ($100 for everything!) via cell phone. Her friend was doing the English/Spanish translation (the "john" only spoke Spanish and the prositute did not) so I got to hear the whole transaction. Another one was trying to find someone to take her teenager to see her daddy in Pelican Bay Prison. It wasn't a very pleasant or relaxing experience. read more

I heard of this place by word of mouth. I just had my lash extensions done and I can't be any happier! I LOVE THEM. They look so natural and well blended, I can't tell where my own lashes start and end. This will definitely save me time in getting ready. No more eyelash curling, mascara, eyeliner, or falsies for special occassions. It's great, you can just wake up and put a little cover up or nothing and go! The only thing i'm upset about is that I didn't get the name of the lady that did them. It may not be the best neighborhood, but the end result of what I got, made up for it. read more

I got my lashes done by Lana and let me tell you, this lady is just plain rude i told her there were 2 lashes poking my eye and making my eye water she said no i dont see it i told her i just seen what was poking my eye in the mirror and she didn't believe me and charged me 40$ for a fill when I usually get charged 30-35$ and when i told her about that she said "we dont ever charge 35$ for a fill" like okay lady i just gave her the 40$ and left. Mani/Pedi? yyaaaa, NO. I don't know what to say, except for totally lame. Cheap? Yes. I don't believe, you necessarily "get what you pay for", however, in this case it rings true. Service was lazy from beginning to end. The woman seemed nice, but the foot and leg massage was at best a minute in duration and the polish job was just ok. Not impressed, wont return. After doing my yelp research and finding out a few friends previously had their lashes done here I decided this place sounded like the best bang for my buck. I made an appointment with Natalie who was super sweet. I've never had lash extensions done before, so I was a little nervous, but the finished product was gorgeous. I was so happy with how my lashes looked. They were super long and full looking and lasted about three weeks. The lashes can be a little irritating when it comes to cleaning off eye makeup, but besides that they were totally worth it. I definitely plan to go back and have them done again. read more

Sure, the ladies talk amongst themselves n who the heck knows what they r saying but it wouldn't be what it is without that..lol.
