The only good thing about this place is its location. The main lady that works there is always on her phone watching/listening to something, or talking to someone -- even while threading your brows. She always rushes her threading. Sometimes you'll leave her chair with nice brows, and sometimes you'll leave with ugly brows. Today, I left her chair with UGLY/CHOPPY brows. The regular woman that works here is nice, but the younger one working today with the glasses, and pirate-esque sleeve shirt and long braid was extremely rude. Not only was the threading experience painful, she saw that there were tears running down my face and she didn't offer me any tissues, and didn't check in to make sure that I was okay. I pulled away and said I needed a small break and she rudely stated " I need you to lay back down." After she was done, she just left all of the eyebrow bits on my face and didn't wipe them off, and she didn't put on any aloe on my eyebrows either. At this point, my face was drenched in tears and she didn't offer me any tissues. During the service, my bag fell down on the floor, she kept stepping over it and didn't even attempt to pick it up. She was just in a rush to go back on her phone. I've literally never had such a terrible experience with any threader before. Don't recommend at all. The new employee completely botched my eye brow shape. I specifically asked for a light clean up. I expressed I wanted to keep the thickness of my brows. Half way she asked, thin no right, thick? I said yes please thick as my eyebrows don't grow as full as they used to be. As soon as she gave me the mirror she said I didn't change the shape I just cleaned them up. I didn't pay attention to the location address enough as I was surprised that this place is an actual one-chair kiosk lol. Right in front of Marshalls. Elite threading is conveniently located through the Marshall's automatic double doors in a small booth across from the water fountain on the foyer. Although this obscurely hidden business is known mainly for eyebrow threading you can also get a henna tattoo, which is what I decided to get. Naira asked me a few questions to find out what type of henna I was thinking of getting. She explained that I could choose between a simple design or complex one. I decided to go with a simple design. on 1 hand. Naira did an exceptional job and was completed in less than 10 minutes. (please see picture). Additional note: The parking at this shopping center can be a hassle. With that said, and if you drive around to the back and park on the South East corner of the lot you will find plenty of overflow parking and a back entrance next to a set of blue outdoor seats. I stopped by Elite Threading to check out the option of henna eyebrow dye/tint, I thought $30 for 30 days was a decent deal. However, the technician lied and said that the henna would last 30 days, the henna didn't last 3 days. I got my eyebrows done on a Friday by Sunday there was no more dye it totally faded (yes, I know not to use certain products on my brows). I go back on Monday to show her that the henna didn't last, and she looked at me confused as if she told me it would only last a day, then asked what did I want her to do? Obviously give me a portion of my money back since your product doesn't work as you described. Then she changes it from it will last 30 days to it will last up to 30 days, it would have been helpful for her to be that clear on the day I paid $30 because I would not have done it for a maybe it will last up to 30 days. Then her customer jumps into the conversation and started an argument, the owner is so unprofessional she sits back and watches me and her customer go at it instead of diffusing the situation and saying here is my card please call me later so we can discuss how I can fix this situation. So basically I paid $30 for lies and horrible customer service. Henna does not work for your eyebrows do not waste your money @Elite Threading. The hours posted should really be listed as "suggested" hours of operation. Last Wednesday, Sept 27 I got to Elite at 7:05pm and it was closed already even though the sign in the window said 8:00pm. I saw that they open at 10:00am Friday so I planned to be there right at 10. So Friday Sept 29 comes, I get there there at 9:55am. By 10:05 there is no sign of life so I call. A man answers and said she'll be there in 5-10 minutes. At 10:25 still no one, so I call again and when the man answers again and I ask again he hangs up. I will go ahead and let you guys know about my experience and honest feed back. So at first she numbed my brows and then she lined them to be perfect shape and size and started doing the microblading and at first they hurt not going to lie but she ended up numbing me at least 4x and at the end it did not hurt at all. I took my time on writing this review because 1 wanted to make sure I was happy with them because it takes time for them to heal and I wanted to make sure I was happy with my brows and 2nd because I did want to be honest about everything due to being a big deal to me because this should be a platform where there is nothing but honestly so with that being said I would have love to not have done the powder look which I did not ask for but she did it but other then that I'm very happy with the results so far and hope my brows just keeping getting better and better but I do have a spot where it needs to be filled in. Definitely will let her know ASAP about this and hopefully she can fix the problem without asking for money. Threading over waxing any day!! I've been coming here for a couple of years and I've always been pleased with the results. Very clean, sharp lines. Usually a younger looking woman who did a fantastic job and took her time. However, these past couple of months I've been getting them done by this older looking woman (sorry didn't catch names) and she seems to rush through even if there was no line after me. Many (visible) hairs were left and I actually had to go home and pluck them...which I mean is no big deal but I pay $10 dollars to get my brows cleaned up, I'd expect them to look better than that. She didn't even trim the hairs like the other woman would do and it affects how my brow product goes on. All in all, great place--Just inconsistent... My brows are my babies, so I'm very particular on how they are done. read more
