He identified the issue quickly and highlighted the lazy workmanship from our kitchen installers (Taranto Construction, Inc in Claremont, CA) who were subcontracted through Lowe's (who we purchased our kitchen from). The shelves collapsed because of loose screws from lazy installers at Taranto Construction, Inc. It's infuriating to have to pay someone to come solve an issue that goes back to completely loose screws in the hardware that would've taken an extra 5 seconds to properly tighten at the initial install. But they know people won't see it, so they cut corners. DO NOT EVER USE TARANTO CONSTRUCTION INC in Claremont CA for a kitchen install, or any Lowe's in the surrounding area, as this is who they refer the work to. After spending a short amount of time with Walter, it's clear he knows what he is doing and is a professional. He even tightened and adjusted other cabinet doors in our kitchen he noticed issues with that had nothing to do with the cabinet shelves he came to fix. He was a very nice guy and I was glad I called him. Thank you very much.

Walter worked with us to pick the right product and colors. We went with Shinnoki real wood veneer panels. They are beautiful and durable. Once they got the veneer up, they routed then hand-filed all of the openings. Then that meticulously painted the face frames to match the veneer. They even painted around the drawers where you can see very little of the painting they did. That shows a lot of pride! Walter also gave us the look of frameless cabinets even though we would have had to replace the cabinet boxes in order to make them frameless. That's a lot of extra work. We got a custom job for less than the price of a non-custom job. In the photos you can see the detail I'm talking about. I've included before and after pictures. The before pictures are all dark, ugly drawers and doors. The after pictures are the modern, two-tone look. In one photo in which I have a drawer pulled out with hot pads in it, Walter designed that and made it fit. There was not a drawer in there before because it's under the stove and the gas line was in the way. But Walter moved it. Walter's very conscientious and not afraid to tell you if he thinks something is not going to look good. He'll do whatever you want, but we learned that he knows what he's talking about. The only other business that replied said he'd get back to me with a quote but never replied to two followup calls and multiple text messages With Sam, I only had need for several phone calls. One was to set up a visit to discuss what I wanted. The other call was to let me know that the desktop was ready. And the final cause was to finalize pickup since I missed his call. I asked for a 70" wide custom desktop to go on top of IKEA Alex drawers. Sam got all the measurements and finish perfect. He also suggested rounding the edges which really helped with comfort of use and not hurting my forearms with sharp edges while working. I'm really glad I Robinsons Woodworking came through. This is a valuable investment that I'm sure will last me a long time, and Sam is great with suggestions and communication. No qualms here!

I've been meaning to write my experience with Robinsons Woodworking for a while now…read more I had sent Sam a photo of a bathroom vanity I saw and liked as inspiration for my new bathroom remodel. Upon viewing it, he asked for dimensions and gave me a price. I gave the go ahead and left a deposit. A week or so went by and I called him and asked how it was going and if I could stop by and see it. I get there and he had the frame built out and it didn't look like the photo at all. I expressed my dissatisfaction and he then went over the details or my expectations better and he said he would raise it 6 inches to 36 inches as I am tall. He charged me $375 for this error of his and called it a prototype on the receipt. With the first cabinet not looking like the photo at all.... I was anticipating seeing the redo. I called and he was short/rude with me on the phone and later apologized. Fast forward to the vanity being pretty much completed minus the hardware. He was having an issue sourcing the slides for the drawers. They deliver the vanity.... and it's Sam and a helper. He has the vanity the wrong way in the hallway and trys to force it in the doorway, and damages the lower front moulding. He doesn't say anything, but puts forever soft putty on it that quickly comes out and the damage is prevalent. (Who does this with a custom and expensive piece?!) He says he will try something else.... Meanwhile, the two doors on the vanity are cut wrong.... Way too short so you see a big gap. He redoes the doors and now they're too large and hit with no way to adjust for the mis-measurement. The wood panel above the doors is twisting and has gaps..... It was just a bad experience on so many levels. I will never go back or recommend him. I should have just ordered something from China, but thought I would get a better product from the local guy. I spent over $2700, for crap. Oh on the last day he was at the house, all he cared about was getting his final check and had zero intention of taking care of the damaged vanity from his carelessness, and was done with it.

They really alleviated a lot of the anxiety associated with kitchen renovation. Johnny was responsive and kept to the timeline. I also appreciated his honesty and straightforward approach. I highly recommend Inland Cabinets! I also wanted to mention that we ran into some mold and water damage at the start of the project. This almost halted everything for us. Johnny generously offered to take care of the necessary repairs and prep so that the kitchen project could continue. It was such a relief and the work done was incredible and thorough. Johnny also added in pull out spice rack for free. Just a wonderful and generous gesture. We so appreciated his care and thoughtfulness. I also want to thank Juan and his family for the excellent and clean work on the demolition and install.

When I sent pictures over to Johnny of our kitchen before he couldn't believe I wanted to change the counter tops and back splash. But even though it looked nice there were a ton of imperfections. So when Johnny came by he noticed a lot of "mickey mouse" things the flipper did to the house, dishwasher in the wrong place, sink not in the center, etc. So we ended up changing our lay out to be the correct way. In the matter of 2 weeks we had a whole new kitchen. The attention to detail his crew provides is unmatched and his prompt communication is very rare in this type of field. Can't thank inland cabinets enough for bringing my vision to life and giving me a functional kitchen.

Re: We would like to respectfully clarify a few points in response to Greg's reply message…read more Per Greg's direction, we were told to reconnect near the end of our project--specifically after countertops, finished plumbing and appliances were installed--so finishing work could be completed. Our appliances were installed in early May 2025, and we reached out accordingly, again during the summer and subsequent attempts without response, and again in December prior to move-in. At that time, we were told the remaining work would take approximately 1-2 days to complete. We have made consistent efforts over the past year to schedule completion, with extensive documentation (emails, texts, and call logs) showing multiple follow-ups from our side. There have also been several periods where we did not receive responses for weeks at a time. The cabinetry was largely installed in April 2025, at which point approximately 95% of the contract amount was paid as requested. Despite this, the project itself is not 95% complete and remains unfinished. To clarify, there was not a "9 month disappearance" as stated. There was a brief 2-day delay in April due to unrelated home issues, after which communication resumed and has continued since. We have an email acknowledging this from Greg with an apology. We also provided Greg with our contractor's contact information to coordinate final plumbing connections related to appliance installation. We have messages confirming this. Any difficulty connecting was not due to lack of access or coordination on our end. In December, after multiple attempts to obtain a timeline, we were told the project could be completed at the end of February. That timeframe passed without completion, and we were not proactively informed of any change or date. We followed up again and were told Greg was significantly behind on other projects and unable to provide a timeline. We then sent a formal request via email and text for a confirmed completion date and did not receive a response. At this point, several months have passed without a confirmed completion date for a project that has been largely paid for, which has been difficult to manage from a homeowner perspective. We have documentation of all communication and are happy to provide it for transparency if needed. Additionally, Greg is currently still in possession of some of our shelving, cabinet panels, doors, and mesh drawer components that we purchased. As of today, the remaining items include, but are not limited to: * Missing cabinet doors * Appliance panel installation * Mesh vegetable drawers * Missing and incomplete shelving (kitchen and living room nook, as well as inside cabinets) * Crown molding installation * Correction of uneven cabinet reveals (including at the island as shown in picture below) * Shelf edge banding/finishing showing exposed plywood and mismatched color * Visible gaps between cabinets and walls * Missing knobs and handles * Cabinet paint and stain touch-ups These items were expected to be completed to achieve the custom cabinetry finish that was discussed. We have photo documentation of these outstanding items. Throughout this process, we have remained professional and patient in our communication. All correspondence has been respectful and documented. We have made multiple good-faith efforts to resolve this directly, but to date have not received a confirmed plan, response to our formal messages, email or date for completion. Our goal has always been to complete the project professionally and bring it to a close. We have waiting patiently for months and still remain open to resolving this, but we do need clear communication and a confirmed plan and date to finish the work.

We are not the easiest customers because we are super picky but also know very little about this stuff, so it took us a lot of time to research every detail and figure out exactly what we wanted and they were so patient with us through the entire process! We began in August with a stop by their beautiful showroom after a recommendation from my Aunt who had used them recently. From the moment we walked in the door, the receptionist was so friendly and helpful and we wasted no time in scheduling an appointment for a free in-home estimate. Design Consultant, Juan, came out to do preliminary measurements, discuss what we wanted, and give us a quote. He spent a few hours in our home going over options and answering our questions and was so professional and helpful! We were thankful he wasn't pushy in any way, and after learning they custom build everything, so there would be no wasted space with fillers that other companies use with prefabricated cabinets, we knew this was the right choice for us! Juan sent us a preliminary rendering, 8 oversized 11x17" pages and then there was lots of back and forth by email and phone and in-person meetings in their showroom as we figured out exactly what we wanted. I think we had a total of 5 revisions! Juan was very responsive, helpful, & patient throughout this process that took about two months because of US! The next step was to have even more precise measurements done by Surveyor, Nathan. Again, very professional, helpful, and patient! He came to our home to do this, which was followed with lots of back and forth emails, calls, and meetings to answer our questions and help us finalize our design. This took almost an additional three months and about 10 sets of revisions to drawings because we went through each set with a fine tooth comb, as we figured out exactly what we wanted and didn't. By the time we signed off on everything in December, we were confident with the design and excited for them to begin production and schedule the demo/installation! In the meantime, they sent us to meet with the tile company they work with to choose our backsplash. (I will write a separate review, but also extremely happy with them! Kelli, Erica, & Jen in the shop really helped me so much and saved me from making some really bad choices. Super friendly and really know their stuff! Excellent installer, Edvin, & field supervisor, Claude)! Next, three full days of DEMO by team of very hard workers: Ruben (Lead), Miguel, Alfredo, & Fausto! These men did such an excellent job in every way! They were professional, friendly, & highly skilled, and by the time they finished, our kitchen was a blank canvas with new electrical outlets, wiring, and updated plumbing finishes. Next we had a planned work stop to remove old wallpaper and address a separate plumbing issue and it was during this time that Mr. Cabinet Care delivered our cabinets! It felt like Christmas morning! An entire truck full that filled our garage! Armani was very skilled at unloading and fitting everything in the limited space we have! Meanwhile, Mr. Cabinet Care was able to source the quartz slab we fell in love with and had our heart set on, even though it was on back order. Now it was time for the installation team: Ruben (same as for the Demo days) with Rommy, Saul, & Jose. These guys are also extremely professional, friendly, & skilled and worked so hard for 4 full days! They installed all the cabinets/drawers, knobs/pulls hardware, under-cabinet lighting, & sink! During this time, they sent the stone vendor to our home to create a template for our quartz countertop. (Very happy with this company as well & will write a separate review). By now, our kitchen is almost complete, but my husband basically went over everything with a magnifying glass and had a few things he wanted addressed so Field Supervisor, Fausto, returned to take care of every last thing! Fausto is a SUPER STAR! Next, the counter and backsplash were installed. Field Supervisor, Claude, delivered the supplies in advance and confirmed plans with us. Then, Edvin, spent two full days, installing the backsplash perfectly! It's time for the final touches! Mr. Cabinet Care sent Jose & Alex out for a full day (along with Supervisor, Fausto) to install kitchen sink, potfiller, all our appliances, custom drawer inserts, etc. These guys worked so hard! We are so close now! But there's just one thing I don't love so Fausto comes up with a genius way to finish off the sink design with a custom trim that he creates a template for and then returns to install. Now we can honestly say our kitchen is PERFECT and we absolutely LOVE it! Thank you to everyone at Mr. CC for creating our DREAM KITCHEN! Your whole team is the ABSOLUTE BEST! Worth every penny!
