Nice restaurant in the service is great but the food was cold. I ordered a classic Benedict. It was OK but nothing to ride home about. I got it with grits which were just nasty. Angela has renewed my faith in this location! I placed an online order for my staff for lunch, and when it arrived it was missing a couple of items. I called and Angela was very apologetic. Not only did she replace the missing items, she brought them to us at work herself since we had our food delivered! That is going above and beyond to make sure things were corrected. Starting this review by saying thank you to manager Michael who made our experience here so much better with great customer service and attention to detail. Stopped into this restaurant mid afternoon. The place was busy as expected and had to wait around 20 mins to get seated. They serve breakfast, brunch, and lunch. I took a photo of the menu. Got seated. You can tell this place is a local eatery around this town. Lots of servers and the manager was out greeting customers and helping expedite food, which you don't see very often. I ordered the avocado toast, which I was a bit bummed that not only didn't have real avocado, (it was more of a spread), what avocado was there was minimal. It was more cheese than anything else. The presentation was very nice though and it came with fruit. It was good, was just hoping for a bit more avocado. I also ordered a latte. We ordered the French toast with biscuits and gravy on the side. The French toast came without powder sugar, the biscuit had the gravy on top. The manager immediately had it fixed by bringing new biscuits and a side of powder sugar. The waiter disappeared for a bit and we were left waiting on syrup. We couldn't even find him to ask until maybe 15 minutes later. By then, we were so hungry, we were eating them without the syrup. Moving on to the waffles, which we specifically asked without whipped cream on top. Again, we received it with whipped cream, and again the Manager was on it to provide us a new one. Waiter - still not around. The western omelette, we had asked for eggs to be well cooked. They were not. I think the waiter was not paying attention to details, but you know who was, the Manager. Food was good, once little things were fixed and even with all of this that happened. I would go back and try this restaurant again. I would 100% give it another chance because of Michael. I have been to several locations and this location thus far has been the most inconsistent. Overall kind of a mess. Staff seem lost, food is hot or cold but not what is expected. We loved the Davidson location but this one is not that. Will go to Davidson even though we live closer to this one. read more

Oh what a great breakfast place! I came here with a large group after a long walk event. I was ready for a delicious breakfast and a warm drink! As we waited for our table to be ready, they have a little coffee station and a basket with warm corn bread bites! Those were tasty! We did not have to wait long for a table! I was in the mood for hot chocolate and they did not disappoint! It was delicious! For my dish, I ordered the western omelette with breakfast potatoes and toast. Everything was delicious! Really cute place for breakfast! Loved the French toast. They serve it with warm syrup. We had it with turkey bacon that was surprisingly really good! Fire at least one member of the wait staff'. The guy did not come and check on our table once, at least not without us calling him down. Specifically, the waiter is a young man with blonde hair, cut short. As we were sitting there, he was completely ignoring yet another customer. The problem is this waiter and likely the management, as well. If you need 90 min wait times, that's fine. You also do not need to employ jerks. Terrible! In contrast, we went to Freddy's near Concord Mills. Despite the fact that the servers receive no tips, the service was excellent. read more

Bring back the Southwest burger please. I don't come here much anymore bc the Southwest burger was removed from the menu. My husband is not a big fan of breakfast so when we came here, the burger and Mac n cheese was his favorite item to order. Maybe this will influence the person in charge. Sunday morning spot after cycling in the nearby loop. It was great since we got there before 8 and the "rush" had not started yet. Since it wasn't busy, we were seated right away and our server was super attentive and friendly. Had the Famous Hash and the coffee kept coming. Eggs over easy and sour dough toast was awesome. Great experience overall and it was starting to pick up after we paid the check and headed out. Parking lot is a little funky since the restaurant wasn't exactly "FULL" when we were leaving, but there were no parking spaces to be had. ALSO - this location is on the end of a commercial strip that shares the parking lot so I'm sure it's gotta be frustrating to find a spot when brunch/breakfast is full swing here. Other than the parking, there's a fairly large outdoor patio that a lot of folks were gravitating toward. There's also a covered outdoor space as well so I'm sure those shutters and coverings come off to expand outdoor seating more. Since we got there at an ideal time, we just sat inside. Went to Charlotte for the weekend and wanted a good brunch spot. Our original planned location had a line out the door, so we found this close by. It was a good crowd of people, but seemed to move quickly. My only complaints was seating and some younger server running. If he runs into someone with hot coffee or food, it could get ugly. As far as the seating, we were sat after several couples and small families despite arriving first. Not sure of their system. Anywho, our server Angela was great. Great for a quick brunch. I visited on a Sunday around 11am. I was seated immediately and food was out 5 minutes later! The waitstaff were attentive. I enjoyed the avocado omelette. It's a quick serve restaurant but for it being that, it is pretty good. I usually get the stuffed French toast and enjoy it.

The service was fast, especially for our large group of 8, but the food is blah. I ordered the runners omelette (changed out the Brie cheese for feta). I liked that my omelette was not covered in oil, but the filling was lackluster. And who puts carrots in an omelette?? That was weird. I also ordered a side of berries and the strawberries were not great, blueberries were good though! No raspberry or blackberry, but I guess they are out of season in December. If this is the only breakfast spot in town, then ok. But if not, I would try somewhere else first. read more

I enjoy visiting this restaurant from time to time. The menu is wide-ranging so that everyone can get something they want. One of the features is Mimosas. You can even get a flight of Mimosas and select four flavors! They also have a bar and serve other drinks during brunch. I often enjoy a good Mimosa with breakfast. You will have one server, but others may bring your food and assist you while you are seated. They move quickly, and it doesn't take long to receive your hot food. We were told a 20-minute wait (I didn't think it would take that long) and were seated in less than 10. read more

Nice spot for consistently good food! We hit up this place occasionally as they have good wraps, omelettes and salads. I do find them a bit pricey but the portions are good size as well. You can't go wrong with any other omelettes or wraps! They offer fluffy pancakes or really good French toast too. They used to have avocado toast on the menu and removed it. Really enjoy this restaurant for breakfast. Make sure you go before or around 8, otherwise, the seats starts filling up quickly. They have a few tables outside as well. The staff are courteous and very quick to take your drink order when you sit down. They came back to take our food order and the food came out quickly and hot. The breakfast quesadilla was very tasty. It was a very good portion of food with salsa and sour cream served on the side. The freshly squeezed orange juice was sweet and hit the spot. EAT HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK -- My partner and I stopped in on Easter Sunday. It looked busy but we were seated quickly. My partner order a scramble bowl and I ordered flapjacks w a side of country ham. The second the server put the side of country ham down I asked my partner why it looked the way it did. I regret not taking a photo of my meal for reference so that y'all could see why I questioned it. I cut off a small piece to try (maybe I was judging prematurely -- I wasn't) I instantly knew it was spoiled and whoever cooked it tried to mask it by over cooking it. My flapjacks were dry and the batter/flapjacks tasted like a ton of eggs. When I brought it to the server's attention, I told her my dislike for the flapjacks may very well my preference however the HAM WAS SPOILED. She took the ham off my meal came back w the receipt. As my partner is putting their card away -- some old lady let's call her Martha, comes out from the back asking "so who didn't like the pancakes". I looked at the woman shocked bc from what I saw she was not the manager -- who might I add was walking around checking in table but deliberately skipped ours -- then Martha says "don't worry I took them off your bill". Mind you I'm confused af bc who tf are you? & why do you feel bold enough to confront me on my opinion? I complained about the ham and said I personally didn't like flapjacks and it could be just me. My partner also didn't like their scrambler-- it lacked seasoning. Anyways as my partner and I are walking out, Martha comes back out of the kitchen to say Happy Easter & she got ignored a second time. We came at lunch time on a Wednesday. We were able to be seated quickly and a waitress helped us right away. We tried breakfast foods: The french toast was three whole pieces of bread (6 triangles) which was more than enough. It seemed like it maybe had nutmeg on it. It was cooked well, not soggy and not dry in the center. The bacon is thick and meaty which made me happy as I don't like fatty, limp, bacon. The pancakes were interesting, they were nice big pancakes and looked good. There texture was nice however they seemed to be lacking any real taste. The three eggs came with potatoes and toast. We added gravy and bacon. The eggs were cooked to order and the gravy was very flavorful. We were able to scan the receipt and pay from our phone. For three of us it was $40 We all would come here again, just not get the classic pancakes. read more

This Toastery location has become one of our favorites since they opened, and my husband and I eat here for Saturday breakfast at least once a month. This is a popular place and so there is often a wait, but waits are generally short. I usually get the crepe special. It's always good, no matter what berry or fruit filling they're featuring. They do scrambled eggs with cheese right, with a good portion of cheese that is nicely melted and mixed perfectly into the eggs. I prefer their sausage over their bacon, as their bacon is thick, but too sweet for my taste. The sausage patties, on the other hand, are both savory and spicy. They also feature breakfast bowls on weekends, and their chorizo, egg, potato, and sausage gravy bowl is divine. We've had it with both fried and scrambled eggs, but we both prefer the latter, as scrambled eggs pair so well with their sausage gravy. The potatoes are cut into approximately one inch chunks, and pan fried. The chorizo is finely ground and nicely crispy. This bowl is absolutely yummy, and even if they don't have it featured, we've been able to get it regardless. Toastery's premise is that every server is your server, and service is usually very good. So you can ask anyone to assist you, and often two or more servers will stop by to just check on your table or offer more coffee. That means that tips are also shared. While espresso and cappuccino aren't on the menu, they have an espresso machine behind the bar, and will gladly make you a cup. Their regular coffee is just ok (we prefer a stronger blend). All in all, this is one of our favorite spots for breakfast in Huntersville! read more
