I met a friend up here for brunch to celebrate his graduation. I arrived before he did and I was greeted by Natalie at the front door. I was automatically stunned by her frames. They were adorable. I promise I'm gonna order me some. I was seated and then my friend joined me. I haven't been to first watch in a few years. I see that the menu has grown some. I kept it classy and went with the triathlete. I also had a purple haze as my drink. The food was good it's never too salty or under seasoned. This is usually a GOOD First Watch, but unfortunately this time we experienced some issues. We walked up at about 10:00AM to come get some breakfast on a Sunday morning, but realized there was a 40min wait. We decided to wait it out, but we ended up waiting longer than 40mins. I know that the employees can't control when customers get done with their food, but for a good 15 minutes about 5 tables sat vacant while dirty, as they could have cleaned those tables and got the waiting parties seated. Me and my grandmother both love the lemon ricotta pancakes. No matter what day or time it is, they always hit the spot. You can tell that they are made from scratch, as they are not rubbery. The thought of ricotta in a pancake can turn some people away, but all it really does is adds delicacy (makes the pancake tender (if that makes sense)). They usually have soft scrambled eggs, but today they were a bit more of a hard scramble and had trouble cutting a bite with a fork. The bacon this time was so hard that it wouldn't really bend like normal bacon would. I would have rather waited a couple more minutes for some better bacon. They do have a drink called the "Pineapple Express" that is always good. I can't really describe the flavor, but I recommend you try it. You'll have to taste for yourself! As a summary, this First Watch is usually great, but this time it was a miss. I wish that they would be more consistent with the quality of the food AND the service, as some servers act like they don't want to be there while others are great. read more

My husband and I visit this location often--at least once a week--so this experience was especially disappointing. I placed an online pickup order at 12:27 PM with a scheduled pickup time of 12:40 PM. I arrived at 12:45 PM, and the order wasn't ready. I waited a few minutes, but by 1:00 PM, there was still no update, so I left and returned at 1:30 PM. At that point, my order was still not ready. By then, I was understandably frustrated. I had already waited over an hour for an order placed in advance, was hungry, and had received little to no communication beyond "it should be next." When I returned, the same host asked for the name on the order and disappeared into the kitchen for about 10 minutes. I then asked another staff member to speak with a manager. Just before the manager came out, the host returned with two pickup orders--neither had my name on them. When the manager arrived and asked what I ordered, she pointed to a bag the host had set out, which turned out to be my order--but it was labeled under a completely different name. This only added to my frustration, especially after waiting over an hour and a half. I asked about a refund due to the excessive delay and lack of communication, but I was told I would need to contact DoorDash. I took the food home (about a 10-minute drive), only to find that the entire order was cold. My entrée was incorrect--I requested no mushrooms but received an excessive amount--and the donut holes were burnt to the point of being inedible. At that point, more than half of the order had to be thrown away, and the rest wasn't enjoyable. I essentially paid for food I couldn't eat after waiting nearly two hours. I understand that restaurants can get busy and that staffing issues happen, but the lack of communication, the excessive wait time, the order mix-up, and the poor food quality made this an extremely frustrating experience. Went here for brunch. Had a few missteps. We ordered the doughnut holes and never got them. We ordered the sangria, and it's listed as a pitcher, but we were served an individual drink. We brought it up to the waitress who apologized but didn't get us the pitcher. Not really a big deal. I had the chile chorizo omelette. Based on its ingredients, I expected more flavor. It was fine, but not a good as it could have been. My husband got the chickichanga, and the smoked chicken carried that dish. It was pretty good. First time here and more than likely my last. Service was horrible. Waited over 15 minutes for a refill of my sweet tea and when the waitress did bring it she didn't ask how was my food or if I needed anything else. I am currently waiting for my check and have been for over 20 minutes now. I had to stop the hostess to get a to go container because my waitress is MIA. Check finally came. I'm over this place. I'm so glad I stopped here for breakfast because everything was AMAZING! Luckily I got here ahead of the crowd and was able to snag a seat at the bar. For my drink I ordered the Morning Meditation Juice and it's fresh squeezed!!! It comes with orange, lemon, turmeric, organic ginger, agave nectar and beet. So good and freshing! For my meal I decided to stick with the fall theme and get the pumpkin pancake meal which comes with eggs & chicken apple sausage. I ordered my eggs fried hard. The chicken apple sausage was a delight! I like how it's not the traditional link sausage everyone else uses and it had herbs in it. It was in a patty form and you get 2. it tasted like it was made in-house. The pumpkin pancake was light, fluffy inside with a crisp edge. The size is a large round so although it only came with one, it was all I needed. Needless to say I scraped the plate and had not one crumb left. I really like how the syrup is served warm! I'm not sure about their other locations but this one is one I'd come back to for sure. The payment method is easy too! I was able to scan the QR & pay with apple pay. We have been going to First Watch since they opened. The service and food quality has been hit and miss at best. Today we went for a late breakfast. Belgian waffle .. pancake...and crispy bacon. The food was barely warm and the bacon was cooked as a chunk of bacon... not slices. Had to break it apart to take a bite. Also we had to physically get up from our table and to the kitchen to get syrup... our food was getting even colder as we waited. We had no follow up on our food or the service! After we finished we were not given a check. We had to go to the register to retrieve our check and pay!! It is sad to see a restaurant with good choices on the menu not be able to provide quality food and service!! read more

I use to order breakfast here if not daily every other day to-go. The only problem was I would always find lettuce in the A.M. Superfoods Bowl. I mention to them once that this keeps happening, but that didn't change anything because I kept finding lettuce in my Superfoods Bowl like they're using the same utensils. Now, it's probably been a few of months since I've order here and now the Avocado Toast doesn't even have seasoning or salt on it, Avocado isn't even chopped up anymore and the eggs are just bland. Not to mention a funny taste to it. I couldn't even eat it sadly. As a chef in my previous career, this location is becoming a disappointment. At least for to-go orders. Whatever changed it shows. We clearly hated it! Came in on a Wednesday mid morning for brunch. We were seated immediately, and our drinks came out fast. We tried the Raspberry Ricotta French Toast, Million Dollar Bacon, Honey Caramel Crunch Iced Coffee, and Elevated Egg Sandwich. Everything came out super fast and was delicious! Our server was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was nice and clean and had a cute farmhouse theme going on. Overall we had a great experience and would love to come back! We ordered a breakfast sandwich and a chicken hash bowl, also a waffle it took 45 minutes. I could have gone and grocery shopped and gone home and made the food quicker. Second time visiting, this was a Sunday with my husband. First time by myself on. Saturday and Eggs Benedict took 40 minutes and was cold. Great potential.. I will wait awhile before going back. On 1/19 my family and I decided to give the newest First Watch a try. I went with my husband and daughter. First Watch is my favorite breakfast spot and of course I ordered my usual: The Trifecta (Chocolate Chip Pancake, w/ Chicken Sausage and Potatoes instead of Eggs) and hubby ordered the Works Omelette. Unfortunately, our food was taken to the table sitting right next to us. They ordered before us so I didn't think anything of it when their food was brought out. Until one of them sent their food back. The other just thought she had the wrong side. They took the plate back into the kitchen and then brought it to my husband. I could hear the kitchen staff a little upset about having to remake my food. What was even weirder the person who brought out the food was both of our waitress. There wasn't any apology or communication about why my food came out 10-15 minutes after my husband's. This location is closer to home but I think it still has some kinks to work on. We are currently here and was informed the wait would be 30 minutes, but and hour later we are still waiting to be seated with no customers in line, we were informed that all DoorDash, Uber eats order must be filled before we could be seated, let me repeat that, all online orders must be filled before we could be seated and were looking at 5 clean empty tables. This is the must unbelievable customer service experience that we've ever been a part of. This review is for FIRST WATCH located at South Park. On Fairview. I could not find the correct address with all of the FIRST WATCH locations listed in yelp. Upon arrival we were told we would be seated within 15 minutes. That happens, but then nobody came to the table for at least another 10 minutes. It seemed like servers were confused as to who had our table. Now waiting 10 minutes I asked the hostess if she could please at least get us coffee, and she did. I asked the hostess who our server was, and if they were ready to take our order and table in general because everyone seemed busy. She pointed to who it was. The server did not seem thrilled to have our table. When she finally made her way over, she never introduced herself was not pleasant and just rocked her hip with an attitude as she swung her long hair behind her shoulder with pad and pen saying are you ready? My one daughter politely gave her order and she wrote it down and then walked over to the next person again with sort of an attitude. As she continued to look down at her pad, her long braids/curls continued to fly over her shoulder, where she kept using her hands with long nails to fling her hair back over her shoulder and then continue to write. I don't feel like this hairstyle is appropriate for a server in a restaurant & to continually touch her hair is not hygienic and flat out disgusting! After waiting for what seemed like much longer than the normal usual wait in this restaurant, one meal came out while no one else received their food. We frequent this chain restaurant, FIRST WATCH, quite often. And this has been the worst experience due to the service. It doesn't seem this location has good management because it always comes from the top. Went there for brunch with my son on a Saturday and we were seated right away. Our waitress came over as soon as we sat down and got our drink order and asked if we been there before and if we had any questions. All of our drinks and food came over very quickly. Corning Place Store.. Absolutely horrible service there. Not only that, their sanitation score was a 91 on Tuesday December 2, 2025. A 91. I'm curious to what were there violations and will most likely go online to see. I ordered my food online. The girl at the front desk wearing the hijab didn't even acknowledge i was there waiting to pickup my order when I walked into the place. After she final got off the phone, I tell her my name for my online order I placed. She walks to the back and comes back out and go to help customers sitting in the lobby. She never gave me an update on my order. Finally, another girl comes to the front and I mention to her about my online order. She walks off and never return. Final a 3rd girl comes to the front and sit a bag on the counter behind the desk. I look to see if its my order. She says; thats not yours. I look at the name on the bag and tell her, quote; thats mine, that my name. I grab my bad, I get home with my order and a simple Bacon Egg Cheese sandwich has no bacon on it, and no cheese. The grits that came with the order was horrible with no taste. To me, it taste like grits boiled in water and not one drop of salt or butter. They just seem a bit disorganized. I've been to this location about five times now. Every time I have ordered my eggs they come out well done no yolk when I order over easy. Service is OK. I think there is a lack of coming back to the table to make sure your drinks are refilled and if there's anything else the customer might need. It's nice to have a first watch close to our home. But I believe this restaurant needs a little bit more help with Management. read more

My husband & I came here for our anniversary & had a pleasant experience. We enjoyed the outside dining environment. My husband was originally going to order 3 pancakes but we were glad he didn't because they are HUGE. I was full halfway through one. I'm a country girl and I thought the grits were delicious. The caramel iced coffee was good but too many flavors for me so next time I'll get it without the honey & chocolate. My husband loved the dragon lemonade. We went here on a Monday morning, so it wasn't too crowded. Our service was great, and the food delicious. For a breakfast restaurant, they may want to consider adding some sun blinds for the large windows (the rising sun was a little intense), but that's no big deal. We had blueberry pancakes, a "the works" omelet, and steel cut oats off the kid's menu for our toddler. Everything was prompt and the food was great (especially the pancakes with the blueberry compote). This is a fantastic addition to the area and we're looking forward to going back. read more

I told her I liked the look of their featured latte but wasn't a fan of the mint and she told me they could do a crunch one for me which was excellent. I then inquired about the salmon frittata and she stated she had not tried it but that it seemed to be a favorite and then asked my concerns (I didn't want it to be dry) and then asked how I thought we could fix that so it wouldn't happen (she suggested not cooking it quite as long) and she was right, it was perfect and so flavorful. My husband had one of the omelets and really enjoyed it as well. I do really enjoy when the entire experience is enjoyable. I even watched as a bus boy took care to hold his hand up as he sprayed a rag to clean a table so as to block any fly off. You guys have really hired a great staff of servers and cooks!
