My friend and I have been wanting to come here from us, but waited for the rush of being open to die down. We went early this morning as we weren't sure how busy it would get cause the parking lot always seems to be packed. I got the veggie omelette which comes with spinach, mushrooms, and goat cheese. It was good, but they overcook the omelette a little as the eggs were brown, which I don't care for. Also got a side of grits, which had no flavor and was really thick. I tried putting butter in it, but it would need too much butter to get it to consistency that I would've loved, but the coffee was good and strong. I will go back, but I think next time I'll order the breakfast potatoes instead of the grits! The service was excellent, and the waitress very accommodating, making sure that we had coffee and anything else that we needed! Very nice inside big and open a lot of seating, but I know that when it gets really crowded you'll have a hard time hearing from everyone talking as I'm not really much in a way of soundproofing! This could've easily been a four or five star review, but unfortunately the way things were managed, particularly in the kitchen brought this down to a two star. This was my first time visiting this location. I joined the waitlist 30 minutes prior to arriving and at the time the message said that the current wait time was between 20 and 35 minutes. Once I got there and checked in, I was told that the wait time would be an additional 20 to 40 minutes. I was immediately confused because it looked as if the entire dining room was empty even though there was a long line outside, and the inside waiting area was full of people. When I asked about it, I was told that the kitchen was backed up. Backed up was an understatement because my wait time ended up being more like an hour and a half in all before we were finally seated. What saved this review, was the actual food and the attentiveness of our server as that kept this review from being less than a two star. The biggest issue for me was the communication and the management of the actual wait time from the online message to when we arrived. If your kitchen is that backed up, you should update your message to reflect the actual wait time. The other thing that was actually silly for me to see was that during this time there were a lot of takeout orders. How is your kitchen so backed up that you have lines outside your restaurant but the ability to still allow people to make online orders. Most restaurants would've shut that down if you can't keep up in the kitchen. So again, I point to a poor management system. read more

Been driving past this restaurant for months and finally stopped in. It was delicious! I was surprised to see how much seating is inside, and the decor is nice. Our server was very sweet and kind which made for a great experience. I ordered the Cajun shrimp and crawfish omelette with a side of grits and potatoes. The flavor was unreal. Grits were seasoned to perfection and the omelette was too. The portion was big enough to take leftovers home. I can't recommend this meal enough! We've been wanting to try this new breakfast spot out as it is down the street from our home. I've been telling my best friend we need more cafés and brunch spots near us, and boom, this place was established! Service was great!! We were greeted and seated right away, and the restaurant was really open airy and clean. Tables were being bussed immediately as people were leaving, which illuminated people having to have to wait for a table to be seated. I was given a cup by the hostess because it was our first time, they have us a complimentary order of biscuit beignets. We thought there were an interesting concept, and appreciated the complimentary treat. My server Shayne was so attentive and such a pleasure to be paired with. He offered recommendations off the menu, and he was extremely patient while we were trying to figure out the menu. I ordered the breakfast bowl, which I thought came with potatoes but it cane with grits instead, he kindly apologized for the mix up and had them prepare the order how I wanted it. He did such a great job checking up on us, and keeping everything refilled. It was my sons birthday and he made sure to wish him a happy birthday! The food was good, my biscuit was rock hard and cold but I didn't want to complain about anything else. The hash after it had been remade was really yummy. My son had the traditional breakfast which consists of an English muffin, bacon strips, two eggs and a side of potatoes. He really enjoyed his breakfast. Came here for the opening and it was amazing! Walking in, we were greeted by everyone! The space is very nice. It is a large dining room with lots of seating. My mom and I were seated quickly and our server helped us decide on some of her favorite items to try. We got the caramel cold brews and they were really good. The coffee wasn't too strong and the caramel flavor was nice and sweet. The cold foam on top tasted liked marshmallow. The. They brought out some beignets for us to try. They were nice and crispy and the honey orange marmalade was really good with them. For the main dish, I had the broken egg biscuit which had 2 chicken tenders, an over easy egg and sausage gravy. It was huge and I could only eat half. The flavors were really good. I loved the buttery biscuit with the sausage gravy and runny egg. The country potatoes were ok. They didn't have much seasoning so I added some salt and pepper. I would have liked some more spices on them. My mom had the champagne lobster omelette and she said it was amazing. This place was booming on a Friday morning! Be sure to sign up on the waitlist before going, because we had a 1.5 hour wait. The staff was so pleasant and friendly. I had a nice solo brunch here not too long ago. Since moving from this area so much has opened and I didn't even realize this was here. I walked in and sat at the bar, it wasn't busy at all. The hostess and bartender were nice and I was able to order pretty quickly. I love their menu, it was almost hard to pick something. I went with something a little different and I'm glad I did. Caught it when it has only been open a week. I was surprised that the service was as good as it was. Still a few kinks need to be ironed out, I would definitely recommend going when you get a chance. The wait time can be long, but you can be placed on the waitlist in advanced. The staff is friendly and still learning . It's a really large restaurant with lots of space for folks so once they get going well, I don't think there will be a long wait time. The huevos rancheros were very good. The bourbon pancakes were amazing. You can get your grits multiple different ways and they're seasoned and very well done. They have lots of cocktails and mocktails to drink however, they did not have liquor yet as they had only been open a week. So I'm excited to get back and try some of their spirits. My preference for grits is I like a more creamy texture. It had all of the bells and whistles in a lovely presentation but I found it a bit soupy. My palate preference totally. I was seated at 12:00 PM and waited about 30 minutes before a waiter from a completely different section noticed us and asked if we had been helped. It took another 10 minutes before we were finally able to place our order. The waiter was kind enough to offer our table a free pastry because of the wait, which I appreciated. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, while my girlfriend got the French toast. The biscuits and gravy definitely had potential, but unfortunately they came out barely warm and didn't taste freshly made. I think they would've been really good if they had been served fresh and hot. On the other hand, the French toast was delicious and easily the better dish. I don't blame our waiter since we weren't even his section and he was the one who stepped in to help us. However, throughout the meal we weren't really checked on or offered refills. I saw that this place opened up and was excited to give it a go. The restaurant shares parking with other businesses in the area. Parking is free. The parking spots in the front are thin, so be aware if you have a large vehicle. We entered and were immediately greeted. Since we ordered takeout, I wasn't thinking about taking pictures of the interior, but there's both table and booth seating available. The interior is moderately sized. We ordered bourbon banana pancakes, chicken sausage, scrambled eggs with cheese, and Gouda bacon grits. It came out within 10-15 minutes. The food was warm once I got home. The only thing that was on the cool side was the grits. I was so focused on eating that food that I didn't get a proper picture. The pancakes, sausage and eggs are what's pictured. It's nice to have another brunch restaurant in this area. The wait on a typical day is still 45 minutes, have a good play list and wait in the car, they will text you. The service has always been friendly and consistently good. Food is delicious, it's always been fresh and presented well. Don't missout on those loaded grits! Unfortunately, the kitchen "gets backed up" and now they are not able to seat anyone. So what was a 30-45 minute wait (average), turns into a hour-hour and half. Second time this has happened. Upon arrival my friend and I received rude looks from the three hostesses who were standing and chatting when we came in, which is fine, but said nothing to us when we walked up.
