Eggs Up Grill - Menu - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Gastonia, North Carolina

Enjoying my free birthday breakfast and delicious hot coffee today at Eggs Up Grill. I ordered the Classic: bacon, eggs, grits and wheat toast. Breakfast is my favorite meal and Eggs Up Grill is close to home in Gastonia and they never disappoint. I like that I don't have to drive all the way to Charlotte for a good meal. The servers are friendly and attentive. Today my server was Kensley. The restaurant is clean and bright and uplifting even on a rainy day like today. read more

Food was very good and they didnt disappoint us because we were very familiar with eggs up when we lived in Charleston South Carolina, we were very delighted to find here in our neck of the woods. The sunday morning early breakfast was a lucky treat because no more than 5 minutes of getting our meal the power went out from a nearby wreck. My wife loves the eggs benedict and it was as good as we've had many times before, the Texas four egg omelette was very good it's one of my favorites with them. If you like to start your day with a hearty breakfast I truly recommend this to you read more

What a nice surprise finding this place. I love my breakfast and every time I go to a new place. I have to try the biscuits and gravy and I ordered an "over medium well" egg to see how good the chef is. The egg came out perfect the biscuits and gravy were quite good. The restaurant was bright and cheerful looking. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. I recently went back and enjoyed the second visit as well. Yes, I'll definitely go back... often. read more

Breakfast the most important meal of the day.... So they say. Breakfast this morning took me to eggs up grill. I ordered the standard American breakfast which consisted of grits and home fries, scrambled eggs, bacon, and turkey sausage. Thr Grits were thick and creamy, buttery and I topped it off by adding a pinch of salt. The Sausage had a spicy aftertaste to it. The bacon was crispy (nobody likes flimsy bacon ). Fluffy scrambled eggs. The Home fries were awesome. The herbs and spices used made them pop. I know I tasted a hint of oregano. I will/would eat at this establishment again when I in the area. #GratuityAdded #breakfast #food #foodie #instafood #healthyfood #yummy #foodblogger #foodstagram #backtoschool #breakfastideas #foodlover #goodmorning #BTS #homeskillet #breakfasttime #eggs #healthybreakfast #cltfoodie #charlottenc #gastonia #charlottefoodie #clteats #clt #gashouse #foodie #charlotteeats #gastoniagotalot #food #gastoniafoodscene read more

Idk why these reviews are so blah, I had a reeeeeeeeeally great meal here!!! My parents and I stopped in before we hit the road to Georgia and from the time we walked in to when we walked out it was an enjoyable experience. Everyone we encountered was nice. It was clean and bright inside. We came on a busy Friday morning but we were still greeted and seated right away. Our server was so nice and quick! I ordered French toast, Turkey bacon and scrambled eggs with cheese. That's kinda my usual lol. Everything was delicious!!! I asked for my bacon to be cooked a little crispy and they cooked them perfectly omg! Legit some of the best Turkey bacon I've had. The French toast was cooked wonderfully too, had crispy edges and all. Like who does that?! Kudos to the Chef for real! Such a simple meal, but so so so good. My parents ordered waffles and pancakes. They loved their meals too. All of our plates were clean lol. I'll definitely come back! read more

Just left this establishment and have never felt more uncomfortable. For starters, I will be honest and say that the issue was not the food, but more so the professionalism in terms of staff and management. As a customer who is presenting to you a hair in their food only to be looked at with unpleasant looks and rolled eyes is disheartening and disappointing. There was no offer of remaking of the food...etc. I say all this to say....treat others how you'd like to be treated or stay out of a customer service based field. Blessings to you and your business moving forward. read more

Food was good at first glance seemed to be one of the closest breakfast location to the hotel I stayed in I later found there were others but I believe I would go back for sure I did place a order on grub hub and that was/ is my only complaint it was or at least appeared that ordering something custom was not completely possible online so basically menu items with cheese or extra meat if that could be adjusted that would be my only concern read more

The hosts were paying closer attention, the service was fast and the kitchen was more efficient this time. Food: Classic with sunny side up eggs, sausage links and fruit: 5/5 The grand classic with sausage links, patties, bacon, sourdough toast, scrambled eggs with pepper Jack cheese, grits and home fries: 5/5. Cafe mocha without whip cream: 2/5. Too sweet and doesn't taste good as it cools. read more

I enjoyed the food. I had the classic turkey sausage, eggs, and home fries and my daughter had French toast with fruit and French fries. We left there full. It was crowded but we got to set at the breakfast bar area. That is first come first serve. Without that it was a 15-20 minute wait. The ambiance was nice very cozy. I'm from New York but that place everyone seem like family and friends from around the neighborhood read more

Arrived mid morning on a Saturday, waited about 20-25 minutes for a seat for 2, not bad. Our server was very attentive and responsive. The chicken fried steak meal with gravy was excellent, everything came out hot and fresh! My eggs were cooked correctly (over medium) and the potatoes side was hot and well flavored! like that the condiments, butter etc are already on the table for you- nothing is worse than your pancakes or grits getting cold waiting for butter! My husband really enjoyed his cinnamon French toast and the bacon was perfectly cooked, not too crisp, not too "floppy". I noticed all the staff working well together and the owners were working in the kitchen and out on the floor helping out! Give this place a try you won't be disappointed! read more

Really good food. Good service. A little pricey, but good. The French toast is ridiculously good. And I don't know if they have it year round, but they have a latte there rivals any coffee house. read more

Walked in and was greeted and then sat at the bar. I was by myself which was fine. My sever Brenda, was amazing!! There was one employee Hannah who was like she hated working there and you could tell that she didn't want to be there. Another employee named Payton, said she likes it here, but hates another employee. If you are going to talk about employees, please don't do it around the customers. I order the Cappuccino, blueberry mimosas, and the Baja Chicken omelet with grits and raisin bread. The mimosas was amazing and the cappuccino was too. The omelet was good and seasoned very well. The chicken was juicy. It was all topped off with salsa, avocado and the creamy sauce. The grits were average and a little stiff but in all my experience here was good. I'd come back. read more

Food was delicious ! I had steak with homefries and overnight eggs and a Moca Ice coffee. I rate my meal a solid 10 out of 10 , hot and seasoned perfectly.....my steak was perfect and juicy. The Service was A1. I give Ms. Brooklyn M the best rating I can. She deserves a raise or something. She was patient with my family while they ordered and kept wonderful conversation ,made sure we had everything and anything we needed . We gave her a big hug at the end of our meal before we left. She was VERY kind. As for ambiance , it was a bit noisy but that is to be expected when the food is that good . read more

I was in Gastonia on business and was looking for someplace to eat. Found this place on yelp and gave them a shot. The place is very clean, there was a nice crowd in there but they had enough servers to take care of everyone. I didn't have to wait to be seated and once looking over the menu I didn't have to wait too long for my food. I ordered the cheesesteak omelette with home fries and wheat toast. I also had a side of grits and for those of you who don't eat pork they have turkey bacon which is a plus in my book. Great location give them a shot if your in the area. read more

Placed a pick up order on a Thursday morning for 10:45. Waited at the front counter without being greeted for 10-15 minutes and another 10 for my food to be brought to me. It was clearly visible on the expo line from the front door. The manager was the one to hand me my food by simply sticking her arm out with the bag and saying my name, not even a smile. After receiving my food, it was cold. Brought the food back in to be remade and not once received an apology from the manager. I've worked in the food service industry my whole life, and it is basic common knowledge for the manager to handle any customer complaints, or at least apologize for the troubles. Servers were very friendly and seemed to provide great service to the customers dining in during my wait! Management needs lessons in how to manage. read more

The food and service was great. The main hostes working on 9/15 had a bad attitude. She proceeded to seat 4 other groups that came after us. Here from Atlanta. Ordered crab Benedict over the phone. Customer service was great. Went to pick up my food, in person service was great. Checked my food. It looked great. Got my food back to my room. Horrible! Called several times to return my food and get a refund before this review but line was busy so here we go. Eggs Benedict were boiled eggs...which is highly disappointing when I don't like cooked yolks! As a foodie, I didn't eat anything on my plate because I was truly disappointed. I'm sure that if the cook knew how to cook them properly or pack them to go properly this might have been edible and delicious. I read more
