Their pudding is really good! I like how they greet you if it's your first time. I tried their two signature items- the banana caramel crunch and the caramel Oreo toffee. I saw a booth at Dos Lagos market night and could resist getting the original banana pudding. This review is from mid May. We were really excited to try this place. It wasn't too big, but it had a homey atmosphere. It opened recently and we've been craving some delicious banana pudding like my neighbor makes it! There was a long line, but it moved quickly. The worker who takes your order rings a bell and gives a special shout out when it's your first time stopping by. We ordered the OG, peach cobbler and carrot cake. The reason they received 4 stars instead of 5 stars was because I specifically asked the young man who packed my items if he was sure everything I ordered was in the carrying case and he hesitantly said sure. That made me unfortunately doubt him, so we walked outside and I checked inside my carrying case and to my dismay everything I ordered was not inside. That was why I specifically asked him before I walked away. I walked back inside and went straight to the counter I had just left to let the young man know all of my order was not inside. He obviously recognized me and corrected his mistake as quick as he could. His peers started reminding each other to take their time when packing orders. My family is full of entrepreneurs and we know that it takes humility to double check orders so patrons get what they paid for every time they walk in the door. We walked in and they looked at us without any greeting...there was only one customer aside from us. So, I already didn't feel welcome which is why I took out one star. OKAY!! I saw all the height and I actually walked past this place in the past. Started seeing all the ads and reviews online. So I specifically came back to try it. Location is probably bringing most of the business into that area. It's like eating a pie without all the crust but you're getting all of that sweetness and flavor and a peach and a little bit of the crumble but not overwhelming you at all! The pudding just is a nice consistency and flavor. So you feel like you're getting a whole delicious pie but you're actually getting the best parts of it! So I'm curious how the strawberry cheesecake one taste and there is a birthday cake one and I forget the other one I was looking at I think carrot cake. I can only imagine how good those are! I am on a diet so I'm going to stay away from this place but I would say this would be the best spot to go to for a quick date or after dinner date for sure! What I love the most was the vibe and I had good music. But what really brought it to top-notch was how happy the employees are! They are around $8 per one pudding and they come in a small reusable glass mason jar which I thought was cute. I do understand people feel conflicted on the price of it compared to the portion of pudn but you are supporting a local family owned business and you get a reusable jar out of it which I believe you can bring back and after so many you get a free pudn. As far as the flavor of the Pudn goes... it was absolutely delicious. It really does live up to the homemade taste. I have no complaints. Blue velvet was delicious as well. You really can't go wrong.
