    2 slice pizza and can

I am a total pizza snob, I have probably tried at least most of all of the pizza spots in Northern NJ and am always looking for new spots to enjoy a couple slices -- and this joint did not disappoint! I just had a couple of classic cheese slices and they were phenomenal -- the sauce was sweet and tasty, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the crust was so crunchy and perfectly golden brown. Seriously wasn't expecting to enjoy this random drop in so much but am so happy I did -- will be back to try their other menu options such as hot subs and personal pizzas!

Hey guys! This place is amazing!

Hey guys! Tom is a great guy; he has a great passion to make food tasty as much as possible! I ordered this rice bowl and it tasted so good! Yeah, I made a mistake for just ordering fries but it's all good! Tom helped me to add both beef and rice in this rice bowl! Next time, I'll make sure I'll add rice in this yummy bowl! Paramus, NJ is never the same without you guys!

The establishment is small, cozy and nice to have a quick bite to eat on any night. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We ordered the fat boy sandwich (The name does it justice) which is a play on the Rutgers grease trucks sandwiches, but elevated. The place the sandwich on a nice crunchy and fresh Italian bread and the ingredients tasted home made. The portion was enough for two people. My son also ordered the vodka cheese fries and those were delicious. Mozzarella cheese and vodka sauce on home made fries!!!! Definitely a good find.

We tried this place out for the first time after seeing all the good reviews... I'll start with the good. The place was clean, great ambiance and friendly staff. The pizza was good but I wouldn't give it 5 stars. This pizza was just above average in my humble opinion. I'll give it another go in the future in case they were having an off night.

So I ordered lunch from this location and ordered a bunch of things. I ordered the personal vegan chicken pizza for myself. When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. I walked in and was greeted. The service was very good and the manager came and explained how they are going to be expanding their vegan menu. He explained what they use and I really liked the idea. When I got in I ate the pizza and I wasn't a huge fan of it. I think it was mainly the vegan chicken they used. The crust was good though. I would need to try another vegan option because there were others.

Delicious vegan options! We had their vegan meatball pie and vegan penne pasta pie with their vegan cheese. Both were excellent! Staff is super friendly and called to confirm our order. Even our Uber delivery guy mentioned how friendly they were and how clean the restaurant was.

I didn't get to see or experience the ambiance inside but I'm sure it's nice - we were seated outside as eating was our priority! I ordered a matcha, and it tasted a little watered down, but still okay. The main courses made up for it. The steak was phenomenal and the sides had so much flavor that nothing felt like an afterthought. Our waitress also had a fun personality, which added to the experience. I'll definitely be back.

The food was fresh (how did they find a flawless avocado in the middle of winter???) and the flavors delicious. The service was outstanding -- weekend brunch was packed, and they put your name on a list in case you want to walk around town while you're waiting. Don't go too far, because somehow they're able to move the tables without making folks feel rushed. Each person we encountered -- the host, the folks at the counter, our server -- was nicer than the last. I got a bowl that had slightly cooked spinach, poached eggs, sweet potatoes and that GOHgeous avocado I mentioned above. One thing I really liked about this bowl is that it didn't have rice in it -- something that would've made it too overwhelming. This was the perfect combo and portion size. Someone else in our small group got the avocado toast (more avocado!!) and also said it was excellent. Definitely plan to return!

After a hard-earned 5K, brunch never looked so good…read more My friend and I were more than ready to refuel, so we headed to Turning Point of Paramus for a late brunch. I was honestly surprised that at 2pm on a Sunday there was still a wait for just two people--but that usually says something about a place's popularity. Once seated, the restaurant was clean and well-kept, and our server was attentive throughout the meal. The only hiccup was the coffee--it took a bit longer than expected to arrive, which felt extra noticeable since we were craving a caffeine boost post-race. That said, the Marshmallow World cold brew was worth the wait and hit the spot perfectly. Food-wise, no complaints. I ordered The Goat omelet, which paired really nicely with the cold brew. I especially appreciated that they offer gluten-free bread--always a win when places make that effort, and it didn't feel like an afterthought. Parking is plentiful, which is a big plus for this area. Just a heads up: depending on traffic, getting on and off Route 4 can be a little tricky. The only downside? They close at 3pm, so our post-run brunch felt a little rushed--we definitely would've lingered longer if time allowed . A winning post-5k brunch that makes the early miles totally worth it.

They offered two little slips to each customer - one for a savory crepe and one for a sweet and you can build you own. Great concept but it would be beneficial if the server confirmed the order because we asked for nutella, banana, strawberry, and ice cream and got 2/4. We were in a rush to leave so forgot to check the receipt to see if we were charged for the others; however it was $48 (w/o tip) for 1 panini, 1 crepe and 1 latte so a bit overpriced for the quality of food, in my opinion. The sandwich and crepe were both just okay, nothing to rave about. The drink was aesthetically pleasing with the iced Bear and tasted great. We asked for whipped cream on the latte but our server forgot that too. She also forgot to provide us water until we asked and it came at the end of the meal.  Outside dining was not optimal as it's right next to the railroad tracks and quite loud. There is a kids play area which I thought was a nice addition to the space, but I do wish it was gated off for the younger kids as it's so close to the road! Overall, I found that it was a bit overrated and underwhelming... there are so many restaurants to choose from in the area that I wouldn't opt to come back here.

We're so glad we did, because this hole in the wall turned out to be a diamond in the rough. With a nondescript exterior and limited signage, Foodies Diner is easy to miss. It's in an area with mainly houses and mixed use commercial buildings, but the space inside is cozy. I especially appreciated the way the owner greeted everyone who enters and thanked everyone who leaves with notable warmth and small-town friendliness. The menu reads like a true diner - with all-day breakfast and brunch options, as well as standard lunch fare. We ordered a Santa Fe salad and an L.A. burger - which comes with avocado, bacon, onion, lettuce, and tomatoes. The burger was pretty standard, but having it delivered on a warm brioche bun feels a little bit special. The accompanying fries were also great - crisp and potatoey on the inside. The salad, on the other hand, was a near triumph. Served on a large platter, there was a small field of well-seasoned chicken, shredded cheddar, vegetables, avocado, pico de gallo, and - best yet - some pieces of warm, toasted pita. I even sprinkled some pieces of bacon from my burger into this salad, and wow did that take it over the top. I dug into this salad with fair gusto and would absolutely come back for it...which is saying something, since I wouldn't expect to fall in love with a salad at a diner. Service was fantastic, and we were pleased with how reasonably priced our meal turned out to be. There's plenty of parking - either right out front or in the lot further back.
