Delicious & authentic! This was the OG with added jalapeno, pepper spread & Frank's red.
Kearstin E.

Out of this world in flavor! I tried the OG with jalapeños, pepper spread, and Frank's Red added--but honestly, I'd skip the extras next time because the original flavor is already amazing. The bread is ridiculously soft & perfect! I've been hunting for a solid Philly in Colorado and this one finally hits putting Pat's to shame. I've tried a bunch of spots and while nothing quite tops Mr. Z's in Florida, this comes really close. Tons of combo options but I have a feeling the classic is where it's at. I'll definitely be back!

LG Hoagie Philly Cheesesteak and Reg Fry

The cheesesteak was really solid. Their fries weren't anything special and their special sauce was just thousand island. Small place to dine so we took our food to go. Place was very busy for a Wednesday at 4 pm! Got our food pretty quickly though and enjoyed it.

No lettuce or tomatoes like I said to the manager!

Poor Service and very inconsiderate of the customer needs. The Manager was very rude and argumentative! Will not be going back. Thank you and be bless.

LG Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak

One of the best Philly cheese steak spots in Denver. I got the Buffalo Chicken w/mushrooms and jalapeños, so good!

I had The Original to compare to the original cheesesteaks I grew up eating. It's right there. Tender, juicy meat, plenty of melted cheese, and grilled, chopped onions. The roll wasn't an Amoroso bakery roll, but it was pretty good. Service was friendly and fast. The place had the feel of a hoagie shop. Get your food, eat it and go or hang around with some friends and watch a little sports on TV while eating. It's a good little shop. I'll go back again.

I had 6 mozzarella sticks 3 of them literally had no cheese in it lol. And my good was cold.

The sandwiches are good. The fries are great. I like the option to get whiz on the sandwich, or on the side for the fries. Delicious!!

I've been wanting to try this place for a while! I love the logo of pig and tiger and the story…read morebehind it. I started off with the May mei, which is what my mom calls me, so it was special to see it as a drink. Loved it! Honestly, the drink menu here makes my heart so happy! They even have heysong soda as part of their desserts. We ordered the gua bao, the Dan Dan noodles, and the fried chicken and were very full! I saw that the fried chicken was one of their trade mark dishes - it was very fried, very crispy. I've probably never had crispier chicken! The rice that went along with it was so good and I loved that there was bokchoy pieces in there. Very cool to see their interpretations of dishes I've eaten growing up. So glad I tried it, would love to come back. It is on the pricier side for us, so we probably won't be back casually, but I'm so glad I got the experience. We had a reservation and the service was good. Everyone was friendly! Loved seeing all the plants in there. Definitely a nicer spot that isn't downtown!

I was excited to find a Taiwanese inspired restaurant in Denver. I was looking for something…read moredifferent for fried chicken. The restaurant has a nice blend of Taiwanese influences with modern American gastropub feel. We didn't have any reservations so ended up eating at the bar for the evening. The server was super nice and offered lots of information about the restaurant. We ordered several shareable dishes for dinner: Pork belly buns, fried chicken, and stewed pork. All had good Taiwanese flavor profiles. Pork belly buns - the buns were freshly steamed with the slice of pork belly for DIY build of the buns. The pork was tender but the sauce on the pork was more of gravy than just the stewed sauce. It was a bit messy to eat. Flavor was good for gua bao (刮包) Pork stew rice - the pork was sliced a bit bigger than the traditional luroufan (滷肉飯). The sauce wasn't as rendered to coat the rice with the fatty goodness. The flavor was a bit more with the ginger flavor. Overall the dish was good and was very sharable. Fried chicken - the flavor was definitely very much like the popcorn chicken that is from Taiwan. I was originally hoping for something similar to the night market fried chicken. The chicken was heavily coated, while it did make it crispy when we first got the dish but when it cooled off it was tough layer or batter. The hot honey sauce wasn't a good touch for additional flavor. All in all, I had a good experience at the restaurant and the food was tasty. Will have to revisit when I can try some of their signature drinks.

I haven't been here in apparently four years. At least that was my last review…read more I was looking for a place to eat and drove through the Lowry area and this establishment caught my eye. As usual it feels like a neighborhood bar and grill as most of the patrons seemed to know the bartenders. They have a large mural of Lowry when it was an army base in their back room as well. Surprisingly they have a full bar. Even with the large ice cubes for the old fashioned. I had an Italian sub and ceaser salad while there. Both were good and to go i bought a pizza to have later at home. Once home I couldn't resist but to tear into the pizza and of course it was good like I remember. The toppings are fresh and tasty. I am from NJ and do not like spicy Italian food, but Denver residents seem to love it. Walter's is within walking distance of my house, and I would be there every week if I could get a pizza with delicious marinara sauce with no spice. I also would love to take my family, but they don't care for spicy pizza either, especially the young kids. I have worked with Ken, the manager, and he is very nice and helpful. I have spoken to the owner years ago about the spicy sauce, and he told me that "everyone" loves it. Well, not everyone! The service is always fast and efficient. The staff is kind and helpful. I love the indoor seating. There is a bar area, a back room, and a main dining area with plenty of seating. There is also an outdoor patio. Parking is plentiful on the street or in the back parking lot. The noise level has never been a problem when trying to speak with your fellow diners. The atmosphere is cozy and clean. I would give Walter's 5 STARS if they had a choice of non-spicy and spicy sauce, just like they have a choice of crusts. PLEASE!!!!

The hot and sour soup on the February special was a surprise, it was good but it was neither hot nor sour. I wish there was more spice and vinegar taste... but it had a good base. The smash burger was really good, great flavor and super tasty. We love the wings as always! The service was great and I was shocked we didn't have to wait on a Friday afternoon for happy hour. Glad to found Crooked Stave's Citrus Earl Gray, I loved it so much we ended up stopping by the brewery to get some cans to take home. Great wings, definitely much pricier from my last review but glad they have the consistency all these years. Clean restaurant and restrooms, definitely one of my favorite places for wings.

The wings are always fresh, and just crispy enough. They have a bunch of wing flavors to choose from - some of my favorites are garlic parmesan, hot buffalo, Cajun dry rub, and raspberry habanero. I haven't had a bad flavor, so I honestly don't think you can go wrong. The fries are so yummy - a little on the thicker side. I love the mozzarella wheels - the Motz is always suuuuper cheesy and the marinara sauce that comes with has a little kick to it. Both locations are similar in style, the Wash Park location is a little bigger. Both have outdoor seating as well. Parking can be a little challenging depending on the day/time. If you're in the mood for wings - this is your spot!
