Ran into this place and took a risk! It was great! The sandwich was huge! I got a small and the portion was huge! The customers that sat next to me even said their sandwiches were huge and very happy. I got the garlic Parmesan fries and they really paired well with this sandwich. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was the cleanliness. I think a little more attention to detail would be great on the dining area and especially the restrooms. Overall, I'm definitely coming back. Pats Philly steak and subs was an average place to eat. I was surprised that I had to ask for cheese on my Philly steak. I even asked for extra cheese and extra onions and received very little. The ambience was definitely East Coast Philadelphia, and it was nice reading the posters on the walls. The bathroom was clean and neat. The roll is very similar to the type that is used in all the well know cheesesteak joints in Phillytown, and tastes just like the best of them. If you are expecting shaved chicken breast, you will likely be disappointed as the texture is very different. I wouldn't classify this as a cheesesteak. It is more of a chopped chicken breast sandwich with cheese. -The salads I have seen come out of the kitchen are formidable. Do not shy away from this place for a healthier option. Fresh bread and veggies, the meat was not greasy and had no inedible pieces, the cheese melted in my mouth. I suppose I should say what I got and put a picture of it. This place 99.9% of the time smacks. But when I order anything with turkey that's cold, there is always at least one hard/cartilage piece or very fatty piece. It's not the best thing to have in my sandwich or to bite on so I just kind of wish they would like make sure there aren't nasty pieces like that (I mean I'll pick it out when I get a piece), but otherwise the food tastes amazing and doesn't deter me from coming back. Used to frequent the one on Arapahoe for years and came here when I found out they have a location open on Iliff. Ordered through yelp for to go. They are not open for indoor seating right now and have everything put away - hot sauce, utensils etc. I waited for a bit to get someone's attention and finally a poor gal on lunch break ran up to give me my order. I got the Philly with Sweet Peppers Onions and Tomatoes. When I used to get at Arapahoe they sautéed the tomatoes in which I liked these were just Tomato slices which I did not like. I picked them out. The cheesesteak was good not as good as I remembered from Arapahoe but decent sandwich. The onion rings were ok probably bagged pre made and just fried.
