I went through the Drive Through on Saturday . The Gentleman who helped me was phenomenal. I decided to order the Patty Melt with Cheddar Cheese and no onions, as I got the Onion Rings, which he recommended. The Patty Melt was Delicious! The Onion Rings, 1 only could eat 1 ;-(. Was Very Tasty, But they were to challenging for me to Chew. Hopefully, next time, they will be softer, as I have issues with my teeth and I love Fries and Onion Rings read more

I have a binge eating disorder and wasn't able to finish my meal. Hot dog was DRY as hell and the bun was toasted to crumbles. Royal/pastrami burger was incredibly beige and lacking flavor. Dressing was whelming; I'd suggest at least a grain of salt, maybe some mustard and/or sauerkraut to give it some depth. Not sure how it's "famous," though I give it 2 stars for the chargrilled flavor. Steak fries were consistently bland. Probs not coming back but glad I tried it! Def not worth $22. read more

BRUCE makes it happen. We were greeted and had our order taken in minutes flat. This quaint Burger Joint takes you back in time. It is a genuine replica of my local burger restaurant from back in my childhood. The menu is very extensive from breakfast all the way thru dinner. We ordered the Onion Rings done crispy and a Royal Pastrami Quarter pound beef patty topped with American cheese and pastrami with lettuce tomato and a Bacon Burger. This is a Denver stable. We have been going here for decades. Great food, great staff and establishment. This is a diner ambiance and drive thru everyone should experience, from shakes, breakfast, burgers with pastrami, yum fries and onion rings and so on. I can only describe it as finally being able to relive what life was like when I was little in the late 2000's/early 10's. The burgers are awesome. A lot of smaller joints have that issue where half way through it's too much beef flavor in your mouth and you get overwhelmed. Not here. I don't know if it's the lack of seed oils or where they get their beef from but it's perfect all the way through the meal. The interior is super charming and it brings me back to being 8 years old running around a fast food joint with my siblings while waiting for food on a weekend. Just a no nonsense damn good burger. Fries fresh out of the fryer- piping hot. Also you have to get their breakfast burrito - I recommend green chili inside with bacon and sausage. They are a staple of Denver and one of the best meals for the price. If you want to truly spoil yourself, get the pastrami burger. You won't want to eat for three days because you'll be so satisfied and full, but it's absolutely worth it. For breakfast, they have incredible sandwiches and huge breakfast burritos stuffed with green chili and hashbrowns. I can only get through half but they're so good. The ambiance is a classic breakfast joint from the 70s. And the owners are so pleasant and accommodating. Give them your support! read more

Well I lived in Denver for 12 years and had not made it. I have a friend that loves grabbing a greasy burger from here so I made a point on my last trip to have one as well. Ummmmmmm...ok, I was not impressed. Inside is kinda messy, you can only use half the dining room due to boxes etc. the food was swift but tasteless. I was disappointed. On our trip to Denver we decided to use Yelp to guide the way for us, seeing how highly rated Crown Burgers is we decided to give it a try. We loved that they had a drive through, especially because it was snowing. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The food portions were huge and affordable to feed many people. That's where the positive ends though, the food was very bland. I got the pastrami burger and although there was a lot of it, it just didn't taste good. The burger patty tasted like it was a prepackaged frozen patty. The pastrami tasted very bland. Nothing was of good quality. It was edible. Not delicious. read more

The platter has two each of the pork, beef and shrimp meatballs along with a half ciabatta garlic loaf and works well as a shareable or single entree. Honestly I didn't think I would like the shrimp meatballs, but it was pretty delish. It was a simple yet unique dish that I would definitely recommend for first time visitors. The drinks are great and the bartender, Alex, made wonderful company. Will have to visit again to try the burgers.... The restaurant was well kept, from the bar, dining room and even the ladies room. The restaurant is accessible friendly but park spots are across the lot.

Luckily, they had a special $10 going on for their ZZ cheesy burger when you buy a drink. Our server and the bar manager was so welcoming, attentive, and so nice to us, being our first time there. This place is not a chain restaurant and this is their only location. Woo! Woo! We both ordered each their handmade cream sodas which were absolutely delicious. My son got the ZZ burger special and I got the BMC burger. Our burgers were cooked to perfection and the shoestring fries were great. Wow! Everything was scrumptious and we finished our plate clean. Their house sauce is amazing and addicting. Overall experience and food was excellent. Service was excellent too. I most definitely will be coming back!
