Okay, Crown Burger, where have you been?? I heard you could get an actually good burger here for under $10, so obviously I had to investigate. I think this thing was around $8 WITH TAX, and it was legitimately fantastic. Fresh ingredients, hot, messy in the correct way, and it tasted like real food made by actual humans. Service was great too. The part that got me: I walked out, looked across the street at McDonald's and genuinely thought, dude... why is anybody going to McDonald's when THIS is right here? You can spend basically the same amount of money and get an actual burger instead of something that looks like it was assembled during a hostage situation. And apparently I live dangerously close to Crown Burger, which is excellent news for me and potentially terrible news for my self-control. I think I just found my new neighborhood burger spot. 10/10. A great little burger shop near Glendale. My friend had this place on her list of must try so of course we had to try it. It has a small parking lot so you might have to park on the street. The staff was amazing! They could tell we were a little overwhelmed with the menu because we have never been there and they helped walk us through it. I told him I just wanted meat cheese and bun and he was able to make that happen. I also got a milkshake and french fries. The burger was cooked to my liking and very juicy. The steak fries were hot and fresh! The milkshake was cookies and cream with a vanilla base, which is exactly what I love. I think overall, it was a really good burger place and if I'm in that area of tunnel, definitely go back if I'm craving a burger. read more

I went through the Drive Through on Saturday . The Gentleman who helped me was phenomenal. I decided to order the Patty Melt with Cheddar Cheese and no onions, as I got the Onion Rings, which he recommended. The Patty Melt was Delicious! The Onion Rings, 1 only could eat 1 ;-(. Great no frills old school burger joint. I absolutely loved it. The royale burger with pastrami and thousand island might seem like a gimmick but I went with it and it was legitimately good. I highly recommend it. Friendly staff, very quick drive thru service, good price. This isn't a classy place. Gordon Ramsey is not back there making your burger. BRUCE makes it happen. We were greeted and had our order taken in minutes flat. This quaint Burger Joint takes you back in time. It is a genuine replica of my local burger restaurant from back in my childhood. The menu is very extensive from breakfast all the way thru dinner. We ordered the Onion Rings done crispy and a Royal Pastrami Quarter pound beef patty topped with American cheese and pastrami with lettuce tomato and a Bacon Burger. I have a binge eating disorder and wasn't able to finish my meal. Hot dog was DRY as hell and the bun was toasted to crumbles. Royal/pastrami burger was incredibly beige and lacking flavor. Dressing was whelming; I'd suggest at least a grain of salt, maybe some mustard and/or sauerkraut to give it some depth. I can only describe it as finally being able to relive what life was like when I was little in the late 2000's/early 10's. The burgers are awesome. A lot of smaller joints have that issue where half way through it's too much beef flavor in your mouth and you get overwhelmed. Not here. I don't know if it's the lack of seed oils or where they get their beef from but it's perfect all the way through the meal. The interior is super charming and it brings me back to being 8 years old running around a fast food joint with my siblings while waiting for food on a weekend. They are a staple of Denver and one of the best meals for the price. If you want to truly spoil yourself, get the pastrami burger. You won't want to eat for three days because you'll be so satisfied and full, but it's absolutely worth it. For breakfast, they have incredible sandwiches and huge breakfast burritos stuffed with green chili and hashbrowns. I can only get through half but they're so good.
