We adore this restaurant. Their food is UNMATCHED in Denver when it comes to quality and price. Definitely worth the drive from Denver, which is only about 20 minutes. From the wings to sandwiches, we are never disappointed and have been back several times. The staff is SO kind and seem passionate about what they're doing. It's a counter order kind of place, but there's a cute neighborhood and a public library right next door if you want to wander while you wait! I thought the wings were really good because they were very meaty and cooked to crispy perfection. I got two flavors consisting of lemon pepper and hot garlic. The hot garlic did not taste like garlic at all and I believe they have mixed up the sauce with a different one as it was pretty sour. The drink we ordered was initially the incorrect one too but that was fixed right away. There is no way that this is not a 5 star food joint in the triple D category. I got a burger and wings from here and they just knocked it out of the park. The burger was easily a half pound and was certainly one of the best burgers I've ever had from food joint. The wings were good. Great BBQ on them. I was slightly concerned they were a little undercooked, but it turned out just fine! The place is just not what you would expect. There's 0 seating. The building is barely larger than a food truck and it seems like it's a meh area of town. The cashier, whom I'm assuming might own or co-own was very delightful. We ended up waiting about an hour for all of us to get our food due to our group size, but he sent a bunch of extra wings. My first time I walked out I felt like family and found myself coming back needing to try the entire menu! Catfish, seasoned and cooked perfectly! Oxtail... Enormous disappointment given the raves in other reviews. They assuredly did *not* get my wings right, not even in the same galaxy. Great wings! Island zest seasoning was my favorite. The staff were very friendly and helpful despite the crazy crowds during the Super Bowl. I had to wait a long time (45 min) for my pre-order pickup but understandable due to the popularity on Super Bowl Sunday. My rating today is based on the staff and food, not the wait time.
