This family run business has been one of my favorites for years! The staff is friendly and professional and they do great work! The salon is always clean and not overrun with typical chemical smells. I needed a gel manicure and they insisted that I do the dipping powder. I told them I don't like the dipping powder because it does a lot of damage to my nails. Upon removing the concrete (that's what it felt like), they filed down my nails down to the skin. I look at my finders and they look horrible. My nails will have to grow out to recover from this trauma! I'll NEVER EVER GO BACK THERE and I'll never recommend them. read more

I have been going to this nail place for years. 99% of the time my nails are amazing. Great quality they last and rarely break unless I do something stupid. The 1% that I was unhappy with my service the exceeded my expectations to make it right. Only twice have I been unhappy- once they pulled the wrong color I tried to correct them and was told with the top coat it would look like the example- it didn't and they gave me a good discount on those nails. This last time I went the chrome top coat started coming off within three days and one nail cracked for no apparent reason. I called to ask if they could fix it expecting to pay. They fixed both issues with no charge the same day. I have been to other nail places where I was unhappy with a service and they couldn't care less. I will continue to come here since I know that the majority of the time they do amazing work and if something does happen they make it right. read more

Just visited this salon for the first time today on a walk-in whim and I have nothing to say except it was great! I just got a basic gel nail and toe service - nothing fancy or crazy so I can't speak to the other services. BUT the staff was very kind and did a great job on my nails and toes. I've been going to this shop since they opened. The last few years have been horrible. Untrained techs that can't do a simple gel polish change. They take the rotary tool and grind part of your nail off to remove the polish and even then it's never removed completely in areas. The polish then has lumps and bumps and waves in it. They focus on speed, not quality. Even if you tell them not to take off your nail bed, it falls on deaf ears because they can't speak English. Forget about asking any questions or telling them what you want. When entering you are greeted with dead eyes and frowns. They hate their jobs and their lives. Most do not speak English, so communication is non-existent leading to terrible results. The techs have no idea what you want because of the language barrier. There is not one friendly face in the establishment and rudeness reigns supreme. They are in such a rush to get you out the door that it makes your head spin. Funny thing is, they're not even busy anymore. Gee... I wonder why. None of the tools are sanitized. NONE ! See for yourself. The floor is clean. But that's about it. You'd think that after coming here since 2007 they'd know me. Nope. Again, dead eyes. If you're game, get a pair of Google ear pods with translate to hear the crap they talk about their customers. I get a gel pedicure here every couple of weeks. My experience has been OK, nothing great, but usually turns out fine. Sometimes they cut my toenails a little too short where it can be painful, but it really just depends on who you get as your technician. Parking is easy to find and you can usually do a walk-in but I always call to make an appointment just for the courtesy of it. read more

Worst and overpriced pedicure ever! I went here this past Saturday for a pedicure and left in pain with half is my toe nail clipped off. Instead of filing them slightly she literally cut down so far that the raw skin under my toe nails were exposed. You can see on the sides of toe where the nail should be. My toes looked like they were bleeding She said that it's because I had some white chalky parts on my toe nail and that she had to cut it off. I've gotten I don't even know how many pedicures and the white chalky part is from having toe nail polish on and any trained technician that I've seen knows to buff it out! I was sitting in the chair in tears and this technician was nervously laughing with another co worker. To make matters worse, the manager/owner was doing sister in law right next to me and did absolutely nothing as he watched me sitting there in tears. After she put some of the color I had originally chosen on, I asked her to take it off and asked if she could get a neutral color because i literally looked like I had half of a toe nail and the manager told me I could get up and go get another color myself while I was crying. He continually did nothing to help the situation to a point where my very calm mother had to pull him aside. This manager sat there for 15 minutes making excuse after excuse and never apologized once for what she did to my toes, he defended her all the way. Never go here! I have been going here for years. I stopped going because of the crappy work I started getting. Today I went in to get gel nails with a gel polish purely out of lack of patience cuz my regular place is amazing But not a walk-in kind of place. Omg the result nearly had me in tears. The ends of my nails are bulbous and fat. I don't understand as a nail tech you could let someone leave with a result like that. I didn't want to cause a scene so now I will NOT go back there. ***WARNING! AVOID THIS SALON !!! My daughter had a pedicure here and the results were absolutely horrendous. Her toenails were cut right down to where the nail beds are and she has been limping all day. Why would anyone cut a nail so short that it draws blood? Not sure how she will even go to work tomorrow. Obviously some of these people are unskilled or just do not give a crap. If you are unable to do a decent pedicure you should not be working in a salon. Went to Famous Nails because they usually have better coupons and when you pay cash and it beats a lot of the other nail salons. BUT, beware of hidden costs. For example, I had a nail fill and a 14.99 coupon (cash only) The girl asked me if I wanted my nails shorter I said sure as I always do at other salons and there is NEVER a charge for making my nails a little shorter. So BEWARE they add an extra $1.00 to your bill for making your nails a little shorter. If I would have know that I would have made them shorter myself. Also, the full set of nails they apply do not last long, not even two months. I had a full set put on from them and in a month the girl told me I needed a NEW set. So, I got a new set and they CHARGED an additional $5.00 to take their old nails off. My advise is to soak them off yourself. They never tell you they have hidden charges so if you go make sure you always ask! I will not be going back there because of this. read more

7/18/15- Today, I visited this salon to get a pedicure. This was my 2nd time here. There was a 5-10 minute wait which is fine but then I sat in the chair for 10 minutes with water that was getting cold. Trying to give the benefit of the doubt because they are busy, I chose to stay. Not once or twice but 3 times the tech stopped to check and text on her phone. I called her out and asked, "why are you on your phone?" With her looks of confusion, I repeated and asked, " this is supposed to be relaxing and you are on your phone. This is the third time on your phone and that doesn't count the time you randomly walked out the back door to order food." I was not raising my voice or giving attitude. The tech next to mine told her no phone. I would have walked out but I was half way with my toes done which would have looked weird. At the end of the service, I asked for her boss/ manager. I was not looking for free service but some sort of we will handle this type of behavior. They came over and I explained everything on the service and said it was poor customer service from the tech. He said, "she knows little English." I'm sorry but no phone should be standard in any language when providing service. That was his only comment, again and again. I paid for my service and left. I had an horrible experience at this nail shop. My full set looked like press on nails. I was told by the nail tech "well that's the best I could do". WTF I'm not happy with them nobody and seemed to care. After a night with the horrible set, I went back and spoke to a manager. I suggested they take them off and redo them because they aren't what I asked for, not to mention they weren't all the same length & that would mean he would have to cut shorter and I wanted them long! I was told I would have to pay for a new set! (Wtf would I look like paying y'all twice for something that should of been done the first time) so I said just fix them! He said I had to pay $5 more because of the square shape I wanted is really coffin. I said no just square that is what I told her yesterday he said yes it will be $5. How do you charge me for anything extra after having to come back and spend my time there again when this is all because of your techs inability to do my nails right the first time?? Then when I asked for regular polish I was told I need to get gel because of the regular polish gets messed up while drying they don't have time to re-polish wtf $15 for gel polish now?? Doesn't make sense to me they should value every customer they have! Being a business owner they should know bad experiences are more talked about then good ones and I will be sure to tell anybody and everybody I know not to go to this place! I love getting my nails done here. They do great work. I brought my mom in for her birthday and she loved it. I've never had a manicure and pedicure last so long and still look good. This is my go to place. EDITED---this place used to be great. But then several new people started working there and it's gone downhill. I get gel nails so that they last and I could get them filled to save my nails. They said they can't do a fill and I have to get them totally redone. It's soak off gel, but they use their tools to rip it all off instead of soaking. They lie about what you're actually getting. The last time I went in the man doing my nails told me if I used this special new product they had it would be cheaper and last longer. When I went to pay my bill it was $20 more expensive...I questioned it and they gave me an excuse as to why it was more. Then they started chipping that same night.... I will never go back here. They used to do great work but it has gone downhill. I'd rather drive 20 minutes out of my way to go to a new place I found that come to this place which is right next to my house. read more
