He cut my hair exactly as I specified and it was very neat and clean. He made some small talk, but wasn't overly chatty. The haircut took about 20 minutes. The price came out to $35 and of note they only take cash, no cards. The only negative aspect of my visit is that while I did book an appointment for noon, I wasn't taken for my haircut till 12:30, but the staff was apologetic. The reception area is reasonable sized in the center of the store next to the register and there are some books and magazines to read.

And even if that were true, there's no excuse for going tons shorter than I asked for without even telling me first. He also tried to convince me afterwards that it's "better" since it's hotter in July. If he actually did that intentionally (and wasn't just covering for a mistake after the fact) then I don't know what to say other than be extremely careful coming here. No barber anywhere should be doing something completely different than what the customer asked without at least telling them before they do it. Will absolutely never be coming back here again.
