I don't even want to give a star for this Yelp. Let's start with the cashier. While ordering they have such a huge menu, which is placed on the wall... (No paper menus) While viewing the menu on the wall. With no customers behind you, the manager becomes immediately inpatient and starts rolling her eyes. Then will walk away from the counter. While ordering she she interrupts you, doesn't allow you to finish what you are saying. I personally observed all of this while my girlfriend was ordering. When it became my turn to order my food, she started to do the same things. I had to stop her in her tracks and let her know she was being rude. When I did she made it a whole confrontation then I asked for The person in charge which would be the manager. She said my name is Maria and I am the manager. I said your customer service is very poor who's the owner and she said I was the owner Nick was my assistant. I later found out that she's the manager and not the owner she was just being confrontational. I will never go back here again because of this poor service I received, I hope the owner sees this as an example of how the "Manager" should treat people. I honestly do not understand how she became a manager. I have yet to talk to this owner to let him know how my experience was. I do know that he goes in after 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Well I'd like to start off by saying I myself work and manage a small mom and pop restaurant in the city of long beach so I know the ins and outs of the restaurant business and I have to say this establishment if you can even call it that is disgusting in every single way from the customer service to dinning room to the actual quality of the food. I've been going to this place for 15 years and have always loved their food. Never had any problem with customer service until now. The cashier had an severe attitude problem which started when I simply asked "Can I get fresh fries, please?" She said "We dont have extra fries." Her answer didn't make sense so I asked again. This time she was very rude so I asked her,"Why do you need to give me an attitude? Its a simple question." She said again something about not having extra fries and she's repeating herself. "Yeah, but theres no need to be mean." When I received my order a few minutes later, I asked for her name. She said "I dont have a name!" I responded with "Really? So when I talk to the manager to complain..." She said "Just say a lady working at this day and time...they'll know." Like I said I've never had a problem with my food (I would give 4 stars) and their customer service (above). The two other female cashiers are friendly except for this one heavy set woman whose face seems to be always angry. I read the other comments and there seems to be a problem with her. Great food. Come here all the time. Close to home. The cooks are quick and very strict about getting your order right. The tall new guys pretty cool, very attentive, great customer service. The only problem I had was with the manager. I was going to dine outside with my puppy and the manager was sitting on the outside tables smoking a cigarette and she said "uh no, you cant bring that dog here. Tie it up somewere if youre going to eat here." I wouldnt have wanted to eat there anyway with her blowing her smoke in my face. read more

I didnt have any problems here like everyone else has said but just didnt really care for the price of the ranch which was 65c. I mean if I take a dollar more I can go buy my own ranch at the market. Stopped by here once on my way back home to San Diego as I liked the "mom & pop" appeal conveyed to me by a friend. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries, but was intrigued by the smattering of Mexican food on the menu and almost inclined to order.
