Their menu has great options overall, and the lunch box is a solid value for the price. The homemade onion rings are especially good. The only issue I consistently have with this location is the fries. I've never received crispy fries here. There is now an option to request "crispy / well-done" fries when ordering online, but it doesn't apply to all menu items, and it still doesn't seem consistent. What I usually receive are soft, oily fries that end up tasting more like steamed potatoes, which I personally can't enjoy. I don't think most people would prefer fries served that way over crispy ones, so I really hope they can improve on this part of the menu.

The morning cook is somehow compelled to cook your order wrong. He will not cook your potatoes well done if you ask. He will not even make your toast well done. What's worse? The cashier is angry and rude and when she's ready to take your order tells you to "GO AHEAD". She won't give your special order to the cook, you have to do that yourself which is a catch-22, as he won't do it your way. He says ok but fails to do so EVERYTIME. I been going to this place ever since it was called Colt Burgers, Fantastics and now Famous Burgers. Ever since it's been Famous Burgers I've only eaten here twice and both times it was the worst. Hopefully they sell it and Fantastic or Louis Burgers buy it. Anything else would be an improvement. Don't waste your money here. read more

Seriously. Get the Manager's Special. It's cheap and a good starter, The fries are really good and the burger was cooked perfectly. Only thing I might add though was that the cook doesn't clean the grill well from what I saw. You don't have to wait that long but it's great. Try taking the food out to-go though. read more

They have large portions of whatever you order. My kids love their chili cheese fries which are delicious and loaded with cheese. They are the only ones my picky son will eat. Their hamburgers are hot off the grill and fresh like all of their food. They also give you hot peppers and a secret sauce on request. Prices I feel are comparable to similar types of establishments however I feel this place deserves my money more than the next guy. They genuinely put pride and care into making your food. They have outdoor seating only located next to busy PCH and a busy shopping plaza but it's rare to not see people sitting there. All in all I highly recommend.
