Family Kitchen is always a great experience! Our server, Elizabeth, was incredibly helpful, patient with our children, and attentive to our family throughout the meal. She stayed on top of refills, sides, and condiments, and made sure our order was exactly right. The food came out hot and delicious. We especially love the giant crepes, breakfast burritos, and Texas-style breakfast skillet. The entire staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and even the bathrooms were spotless. Elizabeth and the whole team keep us coming back with their friendliness and the genuine care they put into taking care of their guests. Definitely recommend Family Kitchen! read more

I wanted so bad eat there today and in fact, I called a friend to tell them I would treat them to lunch. The friend warned me that there have been many complaints about cockroaches in the restaurant so I sat in the parking lot for a minute, deciding whether to take a chance and wound up coming on home. So maybe whenever the new owner decides to hire an exterminator every so many months like most restaurants have to do, I guess I won't be going back even though I have been all very regular customer. When John was there, my husband and I would be in three times a week. After. he died, I'm usually there at least twice. It's where my grandson and daughter look forward to going when they come down from Ann Arbor read more

Called for carry out,as I've been sick all week..ordered fisherman platter ( haven't eaten much all week), husband got it home for me there was no scallops ( stated in on line menu) and everything else was burnt! We live 20 minutes away. All manager said was sorry. Salad was good, baked potato was good. Paying $17 dollars for a burnt dinner especially on a carry out, just pissed me off!!! They should check the food before it leaves the kitchen! read more

The food has gone downhill from what it used to be and the prices have gone uphill out of proportion. We used to eat here regularly but no longer. The carpets look filthy and in the men's room the urinal will not flush and the faucet handle fell off when my husband tried to wash his hands. So sad to lose what used to be a good restaurant. read more

Excellent Family kitchen never fails when it comes to their breakfast. I was full, and the dish I had was very fulfilling. The waitress was serious about her job and helped and checked in on us, which was chef's kiss, very deserving of the five stars. read more

We frequent this place a lot so I have tried a variety of things on their menu. The goulash I had last Saturday was AMAZING! Although it was made differently than my childhood memory of my Mom's, it was so flavorful. Their taco salad is also very good. The crepes are delicious. The waitstaff are always so kind and work very hard. read more

longtime coming here waitress was sick coughing everywhere me and my wife got sick 2 days later lucky we are not old but a room full of old people could be a death sentence read more

No wonder grandpa loves this place. It's friendly, good, and affordable. The staff are super nice and patient. Our family gathered here after services for grandma. The staff was professional and accommodated our large group easily. We called ahead, of course. They have a private dining room in the back that worked perfectly for our needs. We didn't bum out the rest of the patrons and didn't have to stress with the hustle going on around us, being so somber. Big perk that they are not on Adrian water, they have Madison, therefore, you don't have to buy a bottle or worry about what is in your glass or ice. They sell gift cards - which we like to get for grandpa, as this is his choice spot for dinner. The catfish was tasty. They have a good selection of soups. read more

Service is horrible. We were there for over an hour and did not get food,. The waitress never turned in order

This is our affordable go to place and the wait staff is always stellar! Great senior bargains!

Stopped today for breakfast. There were six of us. Service was great. Food was delicious. I got the vegetarian skillet without mushrooms. It was terrific. I would definitely order again. The waitress did not mind giving us separate bills read more

This is supposedly a family restaurant, but they shame nursig mothers. They ask them to leave while still expecting them to pay for food they didn't get to eat. The food is subpar, but it is at least cheap, and the wait staff is often rude in general. I will never go back. read more

After a long day of farmers market we just had to stop in here to get the feta and spinach omelette and it is so tasty!! read more

I had the ribs and they fell off of the bone. That was impressive. The menu is expansive and other items are solid, if not spectacular. My rating is based on the service. Even when slow...you wait...and wait. And then if you want a refill, beg for one. It is a turn off to not see a manager walking the place and greeting tables, and this place is not engaged, nor ever has been but has decent grub. read more

I've never actually been to this place physically however my parents completely give this one at least 4 to 5 star because they really Take the animals they brought me up to go out one yesterday and I have to say I inhaled it quite quickly read more

Boring bland food, slow service....nothing to like here. The menus were dirty with items crossed out. Only two Greek dishes on the entire menu - how are they considered a Greek restaurant? read more

Wife and I have been here several times in the last two weeks. Thought we had a new favorite restaurant until our last visit. Ordered an omelet that came with a big black hair in it. The waitress took it back and said they were remaking it for me. However I never did receive my food. My wife finished eating and the waitress never returned. We left and paid our bill. I explained what happened and it was taken off the bill. But my problem is that they never apologized or offered to make it right. I completely understand errors being made we are all human. My measure is how the error is fixed. This one wasn't and we will probably never return. read more

always consistent for breakfasts...I really like their cinamon french toast...i don't really care for their dinner entrees..service has always been fine read more

Strange food western omelette had no meat or cheese only green pepper, onion and a ton of mushrooms. Hot fudge sundae had mint chocolate chip ice cream. There were lots of senior menu items but make sure you ask whats on it. Service was very slow but they were busy. We won't be going back there. On the plus side there was a good selection on the menu and prices were not bad. read more

We have drove by this place many times and it has always been extremely packed. We finally decided it must be good if they always have so much business and decided to stop in. We sat right away but it took 10 minutes before we even seen a waitress. We ordered coffee, drank it and sat with empty cups for 20 minutes before we were even able to flag down a waitress collecting money off tables. When we asked if she could find our waitress for us because we would like more coffee she got nasty with us saying our waitress was 'busy getting your food'. Our food came at the same time as our coffee refills from a different waitress The food was OK. Was disappointed the Chocolate Chip Pancakes I ordered for my son were just pancakes with chocolate chips dropped on top but overall the food was not bad, until I bit into something so hard in my Greek Skillet that it felt like it chipped my front tooth. Very off putting. Needless to say, they may be busy all the time, but it will not be from us. HORRIBLE service from very unpleasant servers, no organization and no management. Don't waste your time. Go try ANY other place in Adrian and save yourself the irritation and disappointment. read more
