I can't explain how important it was to make sure my mother got a proper viewing as well as making sure her children were happy with the service paid for. We got just that!!! My brother who is paranoid of caskets (awkwardly) fought himself wondering how he would see his mother in one. I wanted a space that can be comfortable, not to big and not to small or costly. And my sister wanted to make sure all her arrangements looked as beautiful as she deserved. As well as how she looked! Owner Diane did her thing. First off my mom was placed in a bed like sleeping beauty rather than a casket. A PLUS for my brother. Price was lovely with everything it included and any thing added was no big deal for Diane! The set up was lovely and my mother......... needless to say, Did not look like the pain she went through! Thank you Diane!!! And your team! My bestfriend, like my sister passed away. She took such great care of her, the services were beautiful, the care was very generous. If I could give this place negative stars I would. They do not care to answer the phones. My mom passed a month and half ago and we still haven't receive her ashes. These people do not give updates and they take their time. I've call several times and no updates i don't know how they have good reviews I do not recommend this place at all. They also messed up my moms death certificate which delayed everything else. read more

I wrote a negative review on Family First Cremation's web site and after two days the review had been deleted and the web home page completely revamped showing only a few top rated reviews. That is a true example of their lack of integrity. Family First Cremations will give you excuses, make promises that aren't met, and be a complete frustration in your time of grief. Losing your love ones is really hard but having someone to entrust your love ones is much harder, luckily we were able to find the Family First cremation services. They are not much focus on the earning that they would be having but they have their goal of helping those who are in need most especially those who are mourning and suffering. And they also gave me the most unforgettable moment, they let me visit my daughter one more time on Mother's Day while we are still waiting for the cremation day.. Ms Diane is really approachable and very kind and her husband Aaron as well. They are both knowledgeable when it comes to their business. We're hoping and praying for their business' success. Diane Lee (owner and operator at Family First) is the only funeral director I've ever met that truly put OUR family, OUR needs and OUR budget FIRST. She went the extra mile to ensure my grandmother's final wishes were realized. While I know there was no guarantee, Diane was able to schedule the church my grandmother wanted. My grandmother's video was beautiful and everything from the flowers to the prayers cards were exactly as we discussed. We ordered several mementos in remembrance of my grandmother that were beautiful and delivered in line with what Diane said - same is true for death certificates. Now that we've experienced Diane Lee's level of service, we will exclusively use Family First during our future times of need. I trusted Diane and her staff with my son's memorial service and cremation and it was the biggest mistake of my life. If I could leave a negative star I definitely would. She and her staff did not fulfill most of the items that we discussed and agreed to during our initial meeting. There are too many to list on this review, but a few are wrong flowers, no video shown due to her unpreparedness, memory card quality was totally unacceptable, staff being unaware of services to take place (and these are just a few minor ones), etc, etc, etc. These are things that you don't get a chance to do over and when you're dealing with a family that's already grieving you better make sure you get it right the first time. While Diane was very apologetic and offered a minuscule refund for the many mistakes she and her staff made, she found it necessary to criticize and accuse my family of things that did not happen. While she offered a refund and promised to mail check she never did and then tried to cover it up with a stop payment and reissue of check on 1/28/20 then advising me the check would only be valid until 1/31/20. Her unethical business practices, unwillingness to deal with this situation in a proper business fashion and the tactics she resorted to to try to intimidate me are totally unacceptable. I've very patiently tried to work this situation out with her for 6+ weeks now. I hope this never happens to another family that's grieving the loss of their loved one. read more
