And dozens of suitcases of all colors! If you need luggage you will love the variety here. I'm working in the area this week and happened to see this store which is near my hotel. The furniture is very nice and extremely reasonably priced. I found a couple of couches that I would have considered purchasing IF I wasn't 3 hours from home and IF I was driving a truck. There were men's Land's End shoes for $5 a pair. A great deal! In fact everything I saw was a very good deal. I've never seen a store like this before. A fun place to shop! If I lived nearer I would stop in frequently! We definitely don't have a store like this in Carmel where I live. I'll add that everything was well organized and prices were clearly marked. This store is very clean and tidy. I'll definitely stop in whenever I am working in this area.

Last Chance Overstock sells the things that didn't sell at other stores. It's the Island of Misfit Merchandise, if you will. (Will you?) My children had a fun time sitting in all of the chairs and couches around the store. A big portion of the store is dedicated to furniture, and the store-people are 100% OK with you and your children sitting on every couch and lying on every bed. My kids wanted to find the most comfortable couch, and they chose the one with plush corduroy that had cup holders and a USB plug. They wanted to buy it, but we live many miles away, and also, there is no way I'm inviting a couch with cupholders and a USB plug into my home. Get bent, kids. You need to look at the products carefully, because some of the things are a little worse for the wear. But for the most part, most of the items I saw at Last Chance looked perfectly fine. I wouldn't come here to find something specific, because inventory changes frequently, but this is a good place to browse and find a treasure.

I am thrilled to not have to drive downtown Chicago or to Oakbrook for a nice pair of jeans! I got to visit the boutique on it's opening day this past Saturday and found so many cute things. The store was packed, which is exciting as it means there are a lot of people who will be supporting it so we can keep places like this in our town. The owner was so kind and did an amazing job with the space. The prices are mid range, which is nice. It isn't over the top, but it also isn't cheap. I love the selection she has. She even commented on how she only orders a limited run of each item so that you don't see everyone around town in the same thing, so smart! This is an amazing addition to the new Centennial Village space and something this area needed!

The hummus was very good. They do have a small grill area in the back but there was no menu posted and it was unclear what was available or if the grill was even open at 4pm. As others have mentioned in reviews, this is not the most well-organized store and no one greeted me until I brought my items to the cashier. I would likely have gotten some chicken as well, but did not feel comfortable asking how the grill orders work or what was available given that no one tried to engage with me as a customer. It is hard not to compare Ali Baba to Alladin Pita and definitely feel like Alladin Pita is both a nicer market and a more friendly, professional business. That being said, Ali Baba is 20 minutes closer to me so I will likely be back again, hopefully next time someone will greet me and can explain to me how the grill menu works.

The only downside to Etc... is that there isn't a changing room, so you have to take a chance and hope that your $4.99 clothing item actually fits you. I put back several things because I wasn't able to try them on, and my rampant body dysmorphia was telling me I probably would not fit into that petite extra-small blouse, even though it was very cute and looked like it might fit. Oh well. My children did find a handful of Wii games for $1 each, though, and they were super excited. This is a good thrift store to give kids a few dollars and let them go wild. They'll find something, for sure. The proceeds for Etc... goes to a local Christian school. They sell mostly clothing, which take up the entire right side of the store.
