What makes JQ so incredibly exceptional is the fact that he was literally on his way home & off the clock, had almost made it to the door when I ran into him & asked his assistant. They didn't have pu'erh tea the first time I stopped and I still go to Chinatown for that, but this visit I came without an agenda. I let the lady tell me things about what they offer since I basically needed nothing. Tonight I learned all about what to do with pulverized chicharones and how many different ways I can buy dried fish from her...which includes Knorr brand fish bouillon cubes! She also told me how to traditionally cook the different things I bought. On top of that, everything was clearly and fairly priced and their credit/debit minimum is just $10. It's not a 5 star place, but it sure beats driving to the city!
