Expired in April and still on the shelf in August.

Expired food is regularly on the shelf. It was brought to store director's attention in the beginning of May. The same biscuit mix that expired in February is still on the shelf. Also, cereal that expired in April is on the shelf. It is August and this expired food is on the shelf.

It's going down hill fast. There's been multiple instances of expired food (including meat in the fresh section). When alerted, the staff doesn't seem to care. They didn't even remove the expired beef. We waited and watched to see if it would be taken care of, but they didn't come back. So we took it to them instead. I hope they actually tossed it and didn't just put it back- if workers are going to be this level of enthused someone is going to get seriously sick. Baked goods aren't freshly made. Not the cleanest. Rude deli workers. Definitely not the best option in the area, but it's a chain so it's at least a somewhat solid place to go. Just check your dates!

Empty jello shelves'

For past two months I fail to receive half of the groceries on my list! Store is always empty! I thought that lack of stock was due to my shopping during weekend. Today I am shopping on a normal Monday - early afternoon, and still shelves are empty! I save $73 today, because Meijer was out of stock. Yet I had to stand in line for 20 minutes waiting to go through a check out system where I have to do half the work of getting my purchases into my cart! Meijer may have had great produce in the past. But it isn't worth it, I completely waste my time every time I enter this store.

Self checkout line.. thanks to all their tireless efforts to protect us from covid

Some food products are higher than other grocery stores! Sometimes ppl are unable to see the price of the products to be bought!

They have name brand items for a fraction of the cost. While the store is organized in sections it's a little bit of a mess. I'm going to assume it's because of the lack of workers in the store to keep it up. My husband and I were in there a little after dinner time and he was bummed to see that the dressing rooms were not available. He was wearing long Johns under his jeans so tried on the slacks he was interested in right there and then. I looked at a few tops. I can wear a 1xl or a 2xl depending on style. Just a note to the ladies they do not have much in the way of plus sizes, not even when it comes to their jackets. I personally wouldn't come out of my way to come here to shop for myself. The person at check out was polite but was all alone. I felt bad and nervous about how it felt that only she was working there. I miss the old days of Burlington Coat Factory when it was out in Merrillville with a much more interesting selection of items but I understand times have changed.

I could have sworn I wrote a review for this antique mall in the past. My first time here was…read morearound new years 1 year ago, and I've been back a couple times since- most recently NY day. Yep- that's right, they are open NY day! First of all, this place is huge! You might think you've seen it all, but then go to the far right, past the Eatery, and you will find a whole other wing to check out. I've spent hours upon hours looking at each vendors "booth" and the cabinet cases to the far left front of the store. I've purchase things from jewelry, to gilded mirrors, gold antique letter stands, wall shelving unit, and an animal skull. But I've also purchased fudge, fried pickle mix, and bourbon carmel sauce. This place has everything you need. One thing I must point out, is some of the booths have modern items, things you can buy from Amazon. So, not everything is antique or even used/second hand. But I think overall, there is a good mix. I go for the antiques primarily, but I have found myself looking at some of the modern stuff that has antique style. I love when I walk in around holidays and see booths with sale signs. I try to go straight for those, because that's when I find I get the best deal. And almost always when things are on sale, you get the best value for your money. That's not to say that I don't buy things when they aren't on sale, I will. I just get excited when I'm bleach to spend less. But be wary, one time there was a sale sign with the correct dates but when I brought the item to the front, they admitted they must have printed the wrong sign because there was no sale listed for that booth in their computer. I always double check now before buying things. Another thing to note, if you find an item and it doesn't have a sale price on it, take note of what the booth number is and where in the booth you found it, then bring it to the front. They can contact the booth vendor for you to ask what the price is. Logistics: - there is always parking- the lot is big - there are not always carts to shop (they have run out more times than not) - the people working are very nice and helpful - if you get hungry while shopping, they have eatery32 inside on the right. Great place! Make sure you have a lot of time if you want to explore everything. Or make several trips :) The people

If you sell a fake product you should clearly state that, but no matter what IT SHOULD NEVER BE MORE THAN THE REAL PRODUCT. How terrible can you be to be making a buck ripping children off? These ppl should be ashamed of themselves.

RACIST EXPERIENCE - Dior at Macy's Downtown Chicago…read more December 23, 2025 | around 6:00 PM This was one of the most racist and humiliating retail experiences I have ever had. On December 23, 2025 around 6 PM, I visited the Dior counter at Macy's downtown Chicago. I traveled from Virginia specifically to shop at this location and went alone to buy a Christmas gift for my sister. I politely asked for recommendations about Dior liquid foundation, highlighter, and gift sets. The older sales associate treated me with clear disrespect from the start. She avoided eye contact, made me wait about five minutes just to answer a simple question, and refused to clearly explain products or prices. Her attitude made it obvious that she did not want to help me. Because of this, I decided to leave and go to Chanel. What happened next crossed the line completely. The same sales associate followed me and said there was someone named Karina in the back corner who "speaks Asian language." This comment was openly racist. She never asked if I needed language assistance, never asked where I am from, and instead assumed I could not speak English based solely on my Asian appearance. I am a college student, and I speak English fluently. There is no such thing as "Asian language." Asia is a continent with many cultures and languages. Reducing all Asians to one language is ignorant, offensive, and racist. This was not a misunderstanding. This was racial profiling. I felt judged, insulted, and humiliated in a public space. No customer--especially in a so-called luxury brand like Dior--should ever be treated this way. The fact that someone with this mindset is working in customer service is unacceptable. Dior and Macy's should be ashamed to allow this behavior. This employee clearly lacks basic cultural awareness, professionalism, and respect. Immediate disciplinary action and mandatory diversity training are necessary. I will never return to this Dior counter, and I strongly warn others--especially people of color--to be cautious. Racism should never be tolerated, especially in 2025.
