Your experience…read morehonestly differs based on the time and day you pop in, so consistency here with service, stock and cleanliness is the main issue with this location. I have learned in the past few years that early weekend mornings are always the best here. From number of registers, friendliness of Associates, shelves stocked, better choices of meats, etc...So, you will rarely find me here anytime other than 9a - 10a on a Saturday or Sunday. I will say that outside of that time, this location is absolutely chaotic with unfriendly/unhelpful staff, few registers open which creates massive lines, even at self check, along with a cart riddled parking lot. So, schedule your visits with care. As with many other retail spots, a lot of items have now been placed behind locked doors, requiring assistance to get open. While the cosmetics and electronic departments are usually staffed well for this, if you ever need undies or undershirts in the men's area, good luck. Overall, this Walmart comes in clutch when needed. I have learned how to maneuver this location to ensure a solid experience each time. It is a solid 2.5 stars.

She then went off yelling at the customer and telling him look where you're shopping as an excuse for her attitude to the senior citizen, also with other very unprofessional comments. The gentleman never raised his voice or said anything to feed he anger and looked very surprised by the events unfolding with this employee. Even the self check out employee was blown away with how Katie was acting. She should not have a job after disrespecting multiple customers and her place of business with referencing it as a place she can yell at people because we as customers chose to shop there. Than the employee refused to give me his name or show me his name badge so I could report him and he repeatedly told me I better get back in a threatening manner. I than advised him that he was wrong for not taking the pour cleaner and that it had got all over my hand. I had placed the pour cleaner on the counter and he was still acting in a manner that was threatening and I requested the manager and warned him that I know martial arts and that I had my toddler son with me and for him not repeatedly threaten me that he would do something to me for simply trying to hand him a bottle of stuff that was literally pouring on me and leaking. He than said something else to me and I told him to call the manager. The management and supervision spoke with me. They than told me that they would speak with the employee that his actions were u acceptable and that they would handle the situation. And me and my son left. I went shopping today and was stopped by police and escorted through the store by the police and held in the front entrance/exit by produce on camera and embarrassed bad with three police officers standing around me at one point and me being forced to sign paperwork that barred me from the Springfield walmart location indefinitely. I feel this location condones their employees to threaten and intimidate customers and than bar the customer for their violations of store policy where their employee made threats overtly to a customer and than condoned it. I have reached out to their upper management in hopes of a resolution to mend my relationship with the store location and am in hopes that something progressive will be accomplished. At roughly $25, this was a nice little bargain. And I could pick it up at the South Nashville location. So I bought it! Two days pass and the item should be ready in South Nashville. Instead, the South Nashville store cancels my order and claims that the item is sold out. What's the purpose of having a button you can press on a website to buy something that is low in stock only to have your order revoked? Is that how online shopping works with Walmart? But it gets worse! A day later, the item reappeared on the Walmart website ... fully in stock ... for $199.99! Say what?! Yup, Walmart is just that greedy. Why make $25 off a customer when you can make $200? And that BUY button on their website? It means absolutely nothing.

She also stated usually it's the customers responsibility to make sure they have all their items before leaving the store, which I said, I understood. She then told me I could talk to the manager if I wanted to, and which I just responded with okay. I walked away, not intending on speaking with the manager because as she stated, it's the customers responsibility to make sure all their items are accounted for before leaving the store. I went back and grabbed all of the items that I misplaced with the intentions of purchasing as I came to check out, I saw that same associate walking towards me. She stopped by who I quickly found out was the manager and she said "oh there she is" the manager responded with "who" and she said "the lady I was telling you that wanted to speak to you" the manager, whom was not facing me, proceeded to look over his shoulder at me and then look back back at the associate and say "well I don't know what you want me to say," shrugged and then walked away. I had no intentions on speaking to the manager after I was told by the associate that basically it was a loss on my end. I never intended on receiving anything free from Walmart and it was not my idea to speak with the manager. It was just an offer made by another associate, that I didn't take up, the rudeness and the unwillingness to help was abysmal. He seemed annoyed that he might've had to resolve a problem for a customer. I never came into Walmart on a Karen mode or had a God complex when speaking with the associate, but it's frustrating to see a manager with such a piss poor attitude when presented with an issue brought to them by an associate. Again, I never expected to receive anything for free and took it as a loss on my end. I didn't send for the manager. But the attitude that was given to me indirectly is unacceptable. They walk around with vests on that say "happy to help" on the back, but that's clearly not the service given at this location. My issue here is not with the initial associate, as she was very helpful to me, but the terrible attitude of the manager on duty. China acted more like a manager than the actual manager. Living in Belle Meade this is the closest Walmart to me, but I'd rather drive out of my way to go to Brentwood than deal with service like that. YUCK!

One that I do not get at Walmarts. The store layout is standard, but this store has undergone all the major updates and is in great condition. It's well kept, bright, well stocked, organized and for the most part, clean. Service was also decent for a Walmart. The famed greeters were super kind, and the cashier was friendly and efficient. Overall, solid Walmart location. Legit would go out of the way to pop in here versus some of the other Nashville locations.
