I visited this Walmart for an oil change. I had an appointment pre scheduled so they took my keys but they didn't get started right away. Overall it took about an hour start to finish which varies from location to location apparently. I'm not sure if that's a good sign or a bad sign honestly. I pay for Walmart+ so I can get free delivery even though the extra charge hurts my bank account. I received an order today and all my frozen foods were missing. They tell me I must call 1800-walmart. They will review this and I may get a refund in 10 business day! I cannot get all the items resent! Was told by an employee to go elsewhere to shop when I had problems with the self checkouts (the reader wasn't working). She literally got in my face. I also have been blocked in parking in a wheelchair spot (I have a lift) and called police to get out and they refused saying the manager there won't let them do anything about it. I was stranded!! I know a few of the employees here and they hate working here as well. What is wrong with management that they make life miserable for the good employees and promote the hateful ones? I've since taken most of my biz elsewhere but it's hard since they are the only big store in town. Had some credit cards stolen and within th hour the low life's used the cards at Walmart in Ashland City, TN. Three different credit cards for over $2,600. When I called the manager on duty and asked if Walmart asks for an ID for a credit card purchase his response was, "you have any idea how many purchases we have here?" And when I said three purchases for over $500 and one for over $1,000, he said well maybe you should keep better care of you credit cards. Wrist customer service in the world!!! This is only a reflection of ownership, ownership doesn't care so management follows suite.. time to move on.. not that my insignificant charges will make a difference.. fu#k Walmart!!! read more

This is in many ways this is the only game in town. There are other grocery stores and drug stores but this is an all in one place to shop. As far as Walmarts go this one I pretty good. The staff is friendly and helpful. The produce and meats are of good quality and the prices are competitive. Good place to shop! read more

There was only one register with a cashier open, all self check outs only! Why? The store was busy enough but no customer service at all. It's not due to covid now, why are employees standing around but not working registers??? I had to find someone to help me delete an item that rang up twice by mistake. Who wants to bag $300 of merchandise late night or right after they supposedly open up registers because they have more people stocking than working the cash register. Walmart used to be a convenient one stop shop but now it's becoming extremely inconvenient. I spend 300 every two weeks and come inbetween to pick up missed...wanted...or needed items. I'm about ready to go to my local grocery. Even though closing and opening times don't work very well with my work schedule. Waiting in an isle right now waiting for a register to open. Since Walmart has started it's grocery pick up I have found the nicest people ever in Walmart. I love this program, for many of us it has been a life changer. When I had to push the cart around the store, getting grocery's used to be the only thing I could get done in a day. My pain would be so bad I could only go home and too bed. Now, I don't mind and feel thankful everytime I drive up and see Elizabeth's smiling face! She makes my day. Today I had to go into the store for a few items before I picked up my large grocery order. I got a motorized cart and it died in the meat department and the sweetest woman named Marlea saw I was pushing with one leg and immediately insisted on pushing me, she helped me get my bread and then get me to the check out in the dead cart. Then she insisted on unloading my groceries and even got me a cart to push them out to my car - and of course asked if I needed help. Made my day! Thank you to Marlea and Elizabeth! Actually this one is small but I love it because it is in our small town. The people are mostly nice and I enjoy seeing Bill the door greeter guy. Always easy to find parking and not too busy like most of them. read more

The worst managed of any Walmart I have ever patronized. They are constantly and consistently out of stock on things that should be on automatic orders. They have been out of 20x30 EZ filters for at least 2 weeks and about half the time they are out of cole slaw at the deli counter. Progresso soups are not available half the time, white onions are a hit and miss as well single lemons. Also, "sell by dates" mean nothing since today (2-9-18) we saw cottage cheese on the shelf with a sell by date of 1-28-18. And trying to get assistance is next to impossible. Just not a good shopping experience on a consistent basis! read more

May 19th 2017 I went to Walmart in Ashland City (Store # 01226), in order to buy cell phones for my family. I purchased two Samsung phones at a discounted price of $199.99. I then attempted to buy two more iPhone at full price (no sale or discounts). I spoke to three employees. First is the Verizon Representative for this store at Ashland city, the second was Kayla a general employee, and the store manager Chad Phillips. I asked the Verizon Rep, how many Samsung phones do you have in stock? She believed two and then confirmed I was purchasing the last two. Kayla received a phone call about the Samsung phones and the customer asked if they had any in stock. Kayla went to ask and came back and said "no we are sold out". I informed her that a nearby Walmart had the Samsung phones in stock (I checked due to needing 2 more phones). I also met them at the other Walmart. I purchased my two Samsung phones and needed at least two more phones for my kids. However, the Verizon Representative said she can only sell me two phones, according to Chad Phillips (store Manager). I asked to speak with him. During my wait time for Chad Philips, I got to talking with the Verizon Rep. She let it slip they had at least 4 more phones in stock and sellable condition. I then explained the store had a call and Kayla stated there are no Samsung phones in stock. I asked "why lie?" She said it came from management. Chad Philips came and talked to me in the cell phone section in the store. We were right in front of the cash register. In front of his two employees and multiple customers watching us discuss the cell phone situation. I asked "why can't I purchase more than two phones?" His exact answer was "Policy and procedure". I asked "is it Walmart Corporate policy and procedure?" Chad Philips: Yes Me: Can I see this policy? Chad Philips: No Me: Can you call your Market Manager (District Manager)? Chad Philips: No Me: Have you seen this policy and procedure? Chad Philips: Yes, based on my 20+ years of experience of training... Blah.... Mr. Philips, you tried to back up your answer based on your experience. However, I know Walmart's policy on cell phone purchases. I had to ask YOU to walk away from the cash register so customers could check out and purchase items and so your employees didn't have to hear me correct you. For some reason you started smiling. I was doing this out of courtesy for you, I do not have to work in that store every day. Walmart doesn't have a corporate policy like you stated limiting cell phone purchases. Walmart does have a policy that limits 2 pre-paid cell phones. Not regular cell phones from Verizon or AT&T. I told you what the policy was and said I have seen it in person. I then asked Me: Can I buy two more phones (iPhones) Chad Philips: No Me: Why? Chad Philips: I told you policy and procedure Me: Can you confirm it for me? Chad Philips: No, I'm not selling you anymore cell phones. So based on my conversation with you, your experience is lacking. You do not understand customer experience, customer service, honest & integrity, or Walmart's Corporate policies. You had your employees lie to me and at least one other customer about what was in stock (Honesty & Integrity). You didn't want to call your boss to confirm the information (policies), I had to pull YOU away from the register to protect your image (customer experience and service). Everybody loves Wal-Mart. But everybody really loves this one ! I have friends who drive past stores just to be able to shop at our Ashland City Wal-Mart. I really like this Walmart. I really do. Most of the staff are pretty hateful though. The checkers are nice, but the other staff are not. The security guard is a joke. Try renting a better cop next time. Hateful, hateful people here. If you're doing a quick trip in and out, then it's fine. Just stay away from talking to the staff if possible. read more

Always clean and never crowded. My favorite Wal-Mart BY FAR!!!! The staff is helpful and you don't have to look far if you need help.
