I started going to this place to get items to stock our schools concessions. It's a little bit…read morepricier than Sam's Club on candy items, but it's a good option when Sam's is out of something. I really like that they sell the 20oz Coke products. Most places only carry the 16oz versions. Although I have never really asked any questions of the staff, this place has always been friendly to me. I wish they had later hours in the evening and open on weekends, but I understand because their client base is probably not large enough to warrant paying someone to stay open later. Nashville seems to be in short supply for places like this. I'm glad Merchant Mart is here for concessions type businesses.

Some time ago, I found a neat place in Murfreesboro called HFS, which felt like a smaller version…read moreof Sam's Club, had large and wholesale items at reasonable prices, and everyone was real nice. This place feels a lot like it... but... I don't know. Part of it is probably the location, right in the middle of industrial Elm Hill Pike. Part of it is the ambiance, which feels more like a small warehouse than a store. Part of it is the very blase attitude of the employees: they're very whatever, when I'm looking for a smile and some chitchat. They've got lots of great snacks and they're cheap cheap cheap. Stuff looks like vending food stuff and at least 25% cheaper. Loving that. There's janitorial stuff, business stuff, office supplies, that kind of thing. You can get in and out there faster than Sam's, and it's reasonably priced, but it's got a chilly attitude, and not very inviting.

I took a bridesmaid dress here for alterations (shortening and taking in the dress, including where…read morethe zipper was) and was happy with the service and outcome received! The seamstress seemed kind and understanding, and the dress was ready on the exact date promised when I first came in. Thank you also for fixing a spot in the fabric that had seemingly snagged/scratched and for steaming the final product! Services were pricy (and had to be paid up front), since the dress was not from the store, but I would consider this Nordstrom Rack again with future alterations needs.

Nothing to complain about. This is your typical Rack. Good selection, decent prices. If you read…read morethe reviews, those complaining either want to return things without receipts or are part of the entitled migration from a certain state on the left most side of the country who didn't leave their pushy, rude attitudes behind. Listen up y'all, the vast majority of folks from that particular state are friendly and grateful to be here and are all in for the southern values. My sweet bride is one of them. However, it seems like those occupying Rack, seem to forget that manners matter. This is the one place I've seen people be rude to cashiers over and over again. Bless your hearts...be nice. Save your receipts and follow the rules. There's also an influx of California dudes scouring through the jeans to find the skinniest ones possible...again...leave that behind.

They have a promotion where they hide 3 different "Easter eggs" which are cards and provide a clue…read more My daughter located one of the cards, took it to the register and found it was worth $50! We really enjoyed walking around the store and picking out items. Of course we spent more than earned but that's ok. We picked up an Easter table runner, salt cellar, candles, fun chocolates, an evil eye beaded box, Ube chips and some other great finds. We have a World Market by me in NJ, also a fun store to shop around. They have a similar promotion at Christmas time! I won $100 in December. Be sure to sign up for their rewards program and check emails for promotions and give aways.

I recently visited World Market, and I could've stayed in there for hours!…read more They have the cutest mugs, home décor, and furniture -- everything feels unique and high-quality. You can really tell the pieces aren't cheaply made. I especially love that they carry both indoor and outdoor rugs made from recycled plastics, which is such a thoughtful and sustainable touch. Their food section is so fun to explore! They have foods and drinks from all over the world -- ramen, authentic pasta from Italy, international snacks, sodas, alcohol, and so much more. It feels like traveling without leaving the store. I ended up buying part of the strawberry collection -- the mug, measuring spoons, and measuring cups -- and they are absolutely adorable! The only thing I'd mention is that I personally wouldn't bring very young kids unless you can keep a very close eye on them. There's a lot of glass and breakable items within arm's reach. Some items are a little pricey, but in my opinion, the quality makes it worth it. If you love unique home finds and international treats, this is such a fun place to shop!
