This interaction stems from a prior shopping trip in which I left a bag of groceries at checkout. I proceeded to call Walmart to explain to them that I left a bag and asked if anyone had returned it to customer service in which I was told no I came to the Walmart the next day to double check if someone returned my bag to customer service the associate China informed me they did not . She also stated usually it's the customers responsibility to make sure they have all their items before leaving the store, which I said, I understood. She then told me I could talk to the manager if I wanted to, and which I just responded with okay. I walked away, not intending on speaking with the manager because as she stated, it's the customers responsibility to make sure all their items are accounted for before leaving the store. I went back and grabbed all of the items that I misplaced with the intentions of purchasing as I came to check out, I saw that same associate walking towards me. She stopped by who I quickly found out was the manager and she said "oh there she is" the manager responded with "who" and she said "the lady I was telling you that wanted to speak to you" the manager, whom was not facing me, proceeded to look over his shoulder at me and then look back back at the associate and say "well I don't know what you want me to say," shrugged and then walked away. I had no intentions on speaking to the manager after I was told by the associate that basically it was a loss on my end. I never intended on receiving anything free from Walmart and it was not my idea to speak with the manager. It was just an offer made by another associate, that I didn't take up, the rudeness and the unwillingness to help was abysmal. He seemed annoyed that he might've had to resolve a problem for a customer. I never came into Walmart on a Karen mode or had a God complex when speaking with the associate, but it's frustrating to see a manager with such a piss poor attitude when presented with an issue brought to them by an associate. Again, I never expected to receive anything for free and took it as a loss on my end. I didn't send for the manager. But the attitude that was given to me indirectly is unacceptable. They walk around with vests on that say "happy to help" on the back, but that's clearly not the service given at this location. My issue here is not with the initial associate, as she was very helpful to me, but the terrible attitude of the manager on duty. China acted more like a manager than the actual manager. Living in Belle Meade this is the closest Walmart to me, but I'd rather drive out of my way to go to Brentwood than deal with service like that. YUCK! read more

I shop at Walmart on a rare occasion, but when in need - here's my experience/impression: 1. Store Size & Selection - the store itself is quiet large, and you can find a wide variety of products just like most Walmart i would say. This is a definite plus as it makes it convenient to get anything you need in one place. 2. Checkout experience - one major downside is the receipt check at the exit can be overly aggressive. I literally had 1 bag with few items in it and have been staff members get quiet confrontational with me or customers, which creates an uncomfortable environment. If trust is an issue, there should be more staffed checkout lanes or some way around this. (however, from a business perspective I understand why this may or may not be taken lightheartedly. It just needs to be better approach.) 3. Cleanliness & maintenance - the cleanliness of this location is horrible. It often feels dirty and poorly maintained, which detracts from the overall shopping experience. But this is also said to ALL/MOST Walmart's and not this one in specific. So this is nothing new to me. 4. Customer Service - This is it's own beast to tackle. If you need to return anything or have to talk to customer service for any reason - good luck!!! Online orders are frequently canceled last minute causing inconvenience, and it also seems like the staff is overwhelmed and understaffed, leading to long wait times and poor efficiency. * Personally speaking, if they had a better environment and treated their employees slightly better - maybe staffing wouldn't be an issue. 5. Return Policy - this is another hassle. I had an issue with returning an item after realizing that the product was clearly damaged but still in it's package and unopened on my end when I was back home after shopping. I went back to Walmart the same day within the SAME HOUR and brought this to their attention with the receipt as well!!! You would consider that there would be no issues, however, the staff was hassling me and making the return process overall frustrating. Overall, Walmart is... Walmart. It's prices are competitive and the store offers a broad selection of items - however it lacks cleanliness, inefficient service, and problematic return policy. I know it's weird to leave a review for a Walmart, but I shop here so often that I think it's worthwhile. For context- I have expensive taste but a slimmer budget (I'd rather spend my money on live music and bourbon), and I'm a little bit of a granola girl. I really like this Walmart location. As a celiac, I am always looking for affordable gluten free food and this Walmart has started to rival Trader Joe's in the selection. Gluten free lasagna, pasta, baking mixes, crackers, you name it. They even have the Arrowhead Mills rice flour, which is the only brand to sell finely ground brown rice flour. They also have other healthy food selections like avocado oil, MCT oil, grass fed beef, grass fed butter, organic produce. I price compare with Trader Joe's, Aldi, and Whole Foods and the prices here are good. I've also found a lot of nice organization and storage items here- pictured below are some affordable bamboo finds I purchased for my kitchen cabinet organization. My biggest complaint is that the checkout process tends to be slow and primarily self checkout. read more

I like this Walmart since it's pretty big. The thing I hate is the only thing they have to checkout is self. This will sound so mean but I'm not getting paid to check myself out. Then when u leave the guy is so aggressive with checking receipts. He hit some lady's are bc she didn't show her receipt to him. He asked to see him and I politely told him no. I said "if y'all don't trust me to check myself out then have people doing it. This Walmart location is truly hit and miss. It sits right off of Charlotte Pike in the same complex as Wingstop, Lowes, Wayback Burgers, Jim and Nicks and more. I will say that my experiences at this location are drastically different based off the time I visit. Anything after 3:00 PM is usually an absolutely mess, but I have found success in the mornings, especially on the weekends. For the most part the store itself is well stocked and in good condition. I have popped in for a variety of items since moving to this area and each time they always have what I need. I have also recently visited the tire/lube shop and will say that this is the best part of this location for me. The staff were helpful, quick and friendly in the bays and at the counter. I had a new battery installed on one vehicle and a tire patched on another, neither repair took more than 15 minutes. Overall, this Walmart does not have the greatest reputation and depending on when you visit, it is easy to tell why. I will keep my visits short and in the mid-mornings! read more

This is the worst place to shop and they sure don't have any managers with common sense as they told me I couldn't return a product to go back on my debit card they said it could only be returned to a gift card when I had receipt and was less than 30 day old purchase...needless to say I had to travel to the Franklin Walmart where they new exactly what to do to get my money back... it literally took her two seconds to return it back onto my card. I rolled the dice on curbside pickup because I was busy but in the area. They have ample spaces for pickup but I wasn't able to reach them by phone when I parked. You'll definitely have to mark your location in the app. The wait was about 30 minutes for 13 items and then I found out I was missing an item when I got home. I've had a few negative trips to this Walmart over the years but I've also had some positive experiences as well. Last night got me heated though....lemme explain. My girlfriend and I needed some allergy medicine and dog food. We were walking in at 10:44 until we were turned away and told no one else was entering the store. Look, not sure if this is company policy, but i gotta say it's bull!! There was no other store we could go to but a gas station and i doubt they had dog food. Absolute worst Walmart and store all together I have ever been too. I quit going here a few years ago and now I remember why. It is not okay to close both doors at 7 PM and most registers. And make these elderly people walk across the parking lot when it's 32° outside. I will mention the sidewalk is closed right now due to construction. So yes, pushing their carts through the traffic. Two years ago when I stopped coming here... 36 people were in the line for one register that was open. The store is nasty and half their people are just cutting up instead of working. This Walmart is woefully understaffed like the Berry Hill location. Unfortunately appears to be commonplace with Most/all Walmarts -- at least in the Nashville area. This review is for the pharmacist. On November 1, 2023, I visited the pharmacy to pick up insulin for my daughter's friend. It was somewhat urgent as her father had picked up the wrong insulin the night before, she was at work, and sadly, couldn't afford to leave and REALLY couldn't afford to be without her medication. I didn't completely understand what I was trying to buy so I called the girl. The pharmacist heard us on the phone, came to the counter, and talked us through what she was requesting to make sure I left with the right thing. Great place to pick up a Uber. It's a close walk from the stadium and you avoid traffic. The parking lot is packed, so pick a good spot. Near the door is everything you need: Snacks, water, postcards, ect. The self check was easy to use. It's all you want in a Walmart on Vacation. read more

Boy, this Walmart gets a LOT of crappy reviews, but I have never had problems in my many trips. I think as long as you realize that it isn't Nordstrom's you can be just fine. In recent months I have noticed that floors are cleaned up and someone is picking up the items that used to be dropped in the aisles and just left. Fresh fruits and vegetables look better and there is plenty of packaged food to be had. Walmart is the largest grocery chain in the country I have read. I don't usually grocery shop there, but sometimes canned goods will catch my eye. My usual reason for going to Walmart is for bird seed. I do agree with the reviewers who talk about the slow lines at checkout. They usually are and I think they often need more cashiers. I hope that after all the publicity about Walmart raising their minimum wage to $15/hour the extra cost pays off in better employees and improved service. I live in Franklin, Tn. I used to shop at this store many years ago, but will never step foot in there again. The attendant to the self checkout was extremely rude & abusive. I came to town to help my adult child pack up their house for a move to Washington. We ran down to Walmart to get packing supplies. While checking out the second item did not scan, so I attempted to scan it again just like we do most places. This time however, the machine required the attention of the attendant who angrily told me I didn't scan an item. We were forced to watch the criminal footage of me doing exactly what I said. She continued to be rude & accusing. I did not drive 30 minutes into town to swipe a $1.98 box of freezer bags! That was Crazy! Yes, the attendant has a job to do. Was just at Walmart on CHARLOTTE and par for the corse, the service was absolutely atrocious!!!! Walmart sent my wife a coupon for a free razor. So like the good consumers that we are, we went to claim our prize. And can you believe it Walmart did not want to honor THERE coupon. ZAMAIYA the "manager" needed to be called over to adjust the price because it was a coupon for something free. ZAMAIYA told my wife that Walmart does not accept those coupons. Even with there logo and the words FREE RAZOR FOR YOUR DAUGHTER on the back. He/she also told her that she needed to buy one to get one for free. So my wife asked him to show her where is said that and he stated it was implied. So after going back and forth for a couple minutes ( my wife refusing to back down ) he just turned around and walked away. She shouted to him that , we are not done here. He finally adjusted the price then mumbled under his breath b!t&$ as he walked away. When it was all said and done she asked the original girl cashier what the managers name was she claimed she didn't know what her managers name was the stated that she wasn't authorized to give out that kind of information. She finally asked another employee and they gave up the highly confidential info. If you come during the day, contemplate 20-30 min in the checkout line. If you come after 9pm, and can handle the sketchiness you'll prob be waiting max 8 min in line. I don't think I can add more than what everybody has been saying. Service is a challenge in this location. It's Walmart. The only time I see acceptable service at Walmart is on their TV commercial. Having said that, I received a much better luck when I deal with a more mature associates at Walmart. They seems to genuinely care and go the extra mile to answer my questions. I would leave the younger associates alone. They have a standard response for every question, I don't know. They then walk away. So, look for a more mature associates. They are your best bet. I really respect those mature associates. Walmart should pay them with premium. They are the only reason I keep coming back to this Walmart location. read more

I am in disbelief that this is real life. I ordered a dresser from the site and it arrived damaged in not one but two different places. I have photos to reference. I called right away to have it returned. It took them 3 days to finally send Fedex back to pick it up. I have called and messaged multiple times for an update. 17 days later (yesterday), I called for the 15th time, and was told the warehouse finally recieved the dresser back and I would get refunded. Mind you, I was promised multiple times by multiple reps I would be fully refunded. Today, I was informed that the package or the weight differed than the original shipment and they could not refund me. The ONLY option I had was to dispute the charge with my financial institution. I'm sorry - what?!! What planet are we on?! In what world is it okay to ship me a broken dresser and when I return it just as you said you now refuse to refund me?! This MUST be illegal! I will NEVER purchase from this scam of a company EVER again. I have been treated terribly and am screwed out of almost $300 and no one has tried once to make it right or help me. Its not that I'm one of those high class "Wal-mart" Haters, its just that this is the closest Wal-Mart to my place, and its much farther than a Target or any other place I could get the same things IN MOST cases. The big benefit are the hours. When your bathroom floods and you suddenly need a Wet-Dry Shop-Vac to clean it up, this is a great place to go. The return policy is a little strange though.. For some reason even though I purchased items on a Credit Card, they always want to give me CASH back instead of putting the money back on the card.
