A Target in Nashville that isn't too busy, and you are able to get what you need. The building itself seemed a bit more dated than the ones I usually go to though. read more

Jaszmine was amazing helping me find an item. She did extra digging for me and didn't give up and she found the item for me after 20 min of looking for it because it was in a different location than what the app said. She absolutely didn't have to do that and she went above and beyond and I just wanted her to know how appreciative I am and that she should be recognized for putting in that work. Thank you!!! read more

This is my go to target in the area! It is a large store but it's never overly busy! They are generally always well stocked. Staff is so friendly and helpful and there is plenty of parking! No complaints whatsoever read more

I think my favorite Target in the Nashville area! It takes me a bit to drive here since I don't live in West Nashville anymore, but worth the drive. This location is the cleanest and most organized. Insanely easy to find what you need. And, very easy to find workers to help if you have questions (not so easy at most Target stores). Also, it might be one of the silliest reasons to love a particular location, but it's true.... ONLY STORE in 50 mile radius that stocks the sun dried tomato basil Quacker rice cakes. I know silly. But that is my favorite flavor and they are intensely difficult to find (and not sold online). Target is my dealer of sorts... Easy parking and I can hit up Costco right down the street after visiting. Love yall! read more

If you can't take care of your bathrooms how can you take care of your customer's? What a pit. When I use a public restroom I should not feel like I need to go home and take a shower. Please focus on your bathrooms like Bucees does. read more

We did two pick up orders but only one was ready. It took quite a bit of time for the order to come out perhaps because if was Black Friday and a number of cars waiting. We left and less than 10 minutes later, the second order was ready. Again, a wait but only two other cars. Plus noticed this time the clerk kept leaving the basket unattended with his back to it while delivering packages. Thankful no one messes with the cart. read more

Shout out to Trey in Target, Charlotte Pike for helping me during the holidays in the Ulta section. It was busy, I had zero desire to replenish and replace expensive makeup at Christmas, but here I was, and Trey took the time to be informative and recommended great products. His enthusiasm was contagious and his knowledge of the products was solid. I am so pleased. Thank you and great job during the Christmas season! read more

This Target sits in the west side of Nashville on Charlotte Pike and may be one of the largest Target's I have visited in a while! This location has clearly gone under the refresh/remodel in the recent past as it has all the newest layouts and offerings from entry to exit! With this size comes crowds, so be prepared to wait in lines and be elbow-to-elbow with folks in the aisles. Additionally, be careful in the parking lot. Folks fly up and down the aisles and while there are plenty of spaces, majority are always full! While things are busy, service is still top notch at this location. We were greeted upon entry and the cashier helping us out was massively nice and helpful as well. Overall, great Target location that I would love to be my go-to when we plant roots here in Nashville! read more

Target used to be my happy place. Now a miserable shopping experience, especially this store. Self check out line is always long, with often just 1 open employee- manned check out. if I want to stand in long lines to check myself out I'll go to Walmart. read more

So unbelievably busy. You can't even get a pick up order in a timely fashion. Target needs to add some stores in the area to offload the traffic to this location. It's almost too busy to be useful. The cashier/check out lines will extend to the beauty section. Avoid at all constant on the weekend read more

Me and my family were getting a ton of supplies for my brother's new school year and we set the sensor off after we paid and left. We were really confused. This older lady who works there stops us, looks straight at me, and asks me if I stole any clothes. I was the only one in my group that looked at the clothes for maybe 2min total and moved on to help my family find what my brother needs. So clearly she was following me for some reason? We have nothing but school supplies and we show her the receipt and I guess she's satisfied and we leave. This made me and my family so uncomfortable. read more

Sales people from at&t in the electronics section use very aggressive tactics to try and make sales, such as following you around the store and refusing to take no for an answer. I shook it off at first, but it's gotten to the point where I've chosen to go out of my way to a different Target in the area because of how frustrating it can be. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service. I misplaced my phone and everyone I asked kept saying go to customer service. I told them id rather keep looking in the areas i was shopping at and it wiuld be great if they could use their handy walkie talkies.... nope "go to guest services". I get to guest services and there's a long line, totally get that but i was in a panick, my phone was attached to all my cards, so i kindly asked the guy if someone turned in an iphone with cards, his sleepy response "could be, maybe but youll have to wait, it'll be awhile". Not only is the front presentation and carpet disgusting but the customer service is turtle slow and everyone seems like a zombie in this place. Definately NOT 1 person (i walked past 6 team members) asked "Can I Help You Find Something). That is what im used to in a Target. Not this one. read more

This Target location is decent. Compared to several other retailers I've recently visited, it gets 4/5 stars due to *almost* having enough staff. Compared to Walmart and Lowe's I've recently visited, it's a distinct step up, though there is still room for improvement. read more

Yes, I have 6 check ins here at the time of this review, but I usually go here under duress. Okay, not really. It IS usually part of a bargaining trick with the better half though. I go with her to Target, so she will go with me to Best Buy. There, I said it. In all honesty though, this Target is just fine. It's considerably newer than any of the others because of the fact that Nashville West was built within the last several years. I can't say it offers any more or less than any other Target, but I can say I've never had a negative experience in all my visits here. Well, unless you count the fact that it usually results in my AT&T phone having NO DATA NETWORK inside its concrete walls. This Target seems to posses all the same services of any other Target I've ever been to, so if Target is what you want, you can probably find it here. Maybe even in the dollar aisle at the Entrance. Next to the foam swords. read more

I doubt management at Target reads these reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience today - specifically with Target 'mobile'. I recognize that today is Black Friday. I have worked in retail before. Things are chaotic. Sometimes you are understaffed, customers can be difficult, etc. I get it. That does not make it acceptable to straight up *lie* to people repeatedly, especially after they have been waiting in your store for SEVEN hours. All for the sake of sales. In the past 24 hours, I personally witnessed several other customers be severely inconvenienced by these untruths - thinly veiled and morally bankrupt sales tactics. I won't go into details about the specifics of my situation today, but ask anyone who came into the electronics department today and they would know that I was essentially a permanent fixture as I waited, from 8am to 3pm, for the Target Tech/Mobile department to activate a new iPhone for me. It was like a nightmare you couldn't wake from. To add insult to injury, I walked away empty handed (and hungry and dehydrated)... In a lot of cases, these type of scathing reviews are unfair, and not entirely truthful. There are 2 sides to every story and at least SOME of the fault lies with the customer in some way. While I don't proclaim to be perfect, and I despise playing the 'victim', I can assure you my tumultuous experience today was ENTIRELY due to their poor handling and management. I plan to share details of my encounter today with everyone that I know. My household will not spend a single dollar at Target again - which is disappointing because I always saw them as "the good guys", especially as a better alternative to the big blue W. Edit: I want to be clear, I was not waiting the entire time to be helped. That was only the first 1.5 hours. I was being 'helped" for the 5.5 hours after that. read more

The girls working the fitting room talked about me while I was trying on articles of clothing and accused me of stealing. They then stared at me while I tried to shop for my boyfriend in the men's section making me so uncomfortable that I ended up leaving. Management? Nowhere to be seen, not that any of the employees wanted to help me find a manager anyway. I spend way too much money at this location to put up with that. My money will go elsewhere now. Customer support did nothing and couldn't even contact me to let me know the issue had been dealt with. For a loyal customer of this specific location for 7 years, you could say I'm pretty unsatisfied with the experience. read more

Shopping at Target!!! I am a TRUE fan of Target..this is a large store. I usually go to the Super Target in Smyrna LaVerne Area, but this one is closer to my home if I cut through the Woodmont neighborhood. I love to see the large homes on my drive over to the Target and the shopping center. There is a lot of additional shops located at the Shopping center so when I go to Target I usually stop at other stores also. This store is large, clean with a friendly staff. The shelves are always fully stocked and the store is clean. The bathrooms are clean. I can always find what I am looking for and they always have plenty of open lanes for checking out. I love this Target store...!!! do you ? read more

This is one of my two main Target stores that I frequent about every week. This store is one of the cleanest and neatest Target stores I have been in, and any assistance I've ever needed has been pleasant. I'm a pretty independent shopper, so my interactions with employees has been limited to checkout and returns, and they've always been super nice. Returns are extremely simple at Target, and this store makes no exceptions. Parking is very easy at the store, and if you look for a spot near the parking lot entrance (instead of the Dick's side), you can usually park right in front. read more

If you have to go to Target in Nashville....go to this one. White Bridge is sort of dirty, Brentwood is too cramped/a parking disaster and Cool Springs is, well, out in Cool Springs. The store is clean, the staff is nice and you can get your mini-mall on without being overwhelmed by 100 other stores. Be sure you check Target online for Coupons in advance of your visit http://coupons.target.com/?ref=tgt_adv_XS000000&AFID=googlestr&CPNG=weeklyad&adgroup=static_sitelink4 because those coupons can be added with manufacturers coupons for some good savings kids! Most people would say that one Target is like another, but as someone who really loves this store, I would say this is one of the better ones in Nashville. They have a great selection and usually have a few clearance racks too. It is always clean and the workers aren't too pushy (is it just me- or are most Target workers pushy? If I need you- I will find you!). read more

I'm sick and the Pharmacist tonight was a douche with a capital "D"! I don't usually let bad service get personal but this guy had a major attitude problem! It should be obvious when people are buying Sudafed, they are sick! Check your hat at the door, dude! read more

Always Clean and good prices

This Target seems quite standard with nothing really out of the ordinary. It did feel as if some of the staff were unsure where items were located, as one member couldn't assist a new customer find something down the adjacent aisle. The patron ended up looking and finding the item herself. As for my own experience, I found the store relatively clean and not at all crowded on a Tuesday late morning, but I did think my cashier treated me a bit strangely. When I went up to the register, she commented to a fellow cashier, "Look, I got one already." As a customer, doesn't it make sense that I would go up to a free cashier? It was a bit odd, but the rest of the visit I had no problems navigating through the store. This particular target was well-stocked and organized neatly. read more

In the history of bathrooms there has never been a more disgusting bathroom than this one. There was no toilet paper, the trash cans overflowed, the floor was so sticky I had to put in physical effort to lift my feet, and there were visible black footprints throughout. Do better, Target. read more

Target - Department Stores Near Me - Nashville, Tennessee

I am a pretty new transplant to Nashville and this Target has been my lifeline. We're talking 6 times in 7 days, multiple times a day sometimes as I realized what I didn't have. It's clean, the bathrooms are clean, the checkout lines aren't usually too bad. Beyond that, it's a Target. Convenient location. Plenty of parking. What's not to like? *Oh, and one time, I accidentally left some stuff on the bottom of my cart when I packed my car and put my cart back in the corral and drove away. As soon as I realized it, I drove back and the people who had been parked next to me recognized me and had my stuff (they were bringing it back into the store) and they flagged me down and gave it to me! That was so nice and gives me an extra soft spot for this Target. read more

This isn't my favorite Target. It feels like it's backwards, there's always a jam up front either trying to get out or trying to get in, and I keep getting stuck behind people who picked up an item that was not marked. Additionally in their parking lot I managed to park on a grate edge that was sharp and protruding and needs work, However, the place is a good Target. There's nothing they can do for the backwardsness I feel, but they can work on the flow of traffic by moving their $1 aisles or shrinking their cart lanes or having someone handle the carts that stack up near the exit, and they can make sure everything's marked and fix that grate. Do that and it's a great Target. Avoid driving the road directly in front of the Target to enter and leave and you'll save a good 2 minutes waiting for people to cross. read more

Just wanted to update and say that I really appreciate the customer service here at the store. I'm talking about the ones that are staffed with headsets and at the customer service area. They really do a good job of helping you with the transaction whether it be a return or exchange and they're very thorough. During this busy holiday season, I'm glad that they have more on hand ready to help with anything! Thanks! read more

What's the point of drive up service if items are damaged?! Piss poor location and it continues to decline!

I purchased a $100 gift card on target.com and received an email verifying the purchase as well as one from my credit card company. Then I received an email saying it was canceled. Wasted at least 30 minutes chatting and talking to Target. Very poor customer service. I don't recommend using target.com read more

I am generally a big Target fan (I lived in MN - the land of Target - for over a decade) and I try to always shop there over Walmart. Targets are just cleaner and less stressful as a rule, in my opinion. This particular Target has a huge issue for me, though: every time I go there (which is generally more than once a week) the checkout lines are backed up like crazy. WAY worse than Walmart. The Walmart down the street has self checkouts - not Target. And to add insult to injury, the express (10 items or less) lanes are never open. Seriously - I have been to this Target maybe 100 times and I have never seen the any of the express lanes open once. I can handle long lines around holiday times when a store is particularly slammed, but here it is just like this no matter when you go. It has become a running joke with my wife and I - we get up to the checkout get in the crazy long line and say "here we go again". It's especially frustrating because there seem to be tons of employees standing around or walking to and fro... but only 3 or four checking people out, and none of them seem to think this is an issue (the employees who ARE checking folks out aren't even in any kind of a hurry). The long lines are just considered to be normal for every one there, I guess. It's just disappointing. I feel like I've always gone out of my way to avoid Walmart, but I find myself going there more and more lately, because I just don't have 15 extra minutes to stand in line. I've never experienced this issue at another Target (even the White Bridge road location a few miles down the road) - I guess this particular Target is just poorly managed? It's a bummer. This location is pretty new, so it looks nice and is clean - but consistently long wait lines just make the customer experience bad for me. read more

I visit this Target on a fairly regular basis, usually in combination with a Costco trip. This one is nice, fairly new, and is usually in good order. read more

As Target stores go this is not the nicest store, but compared to Walmart down the street it is Fortnum & Mason. Its aleays crowded, so the checkout lines can be long and the parking lot is like Crazy Taxi. But the store itself is relatively clean and the employees are usually reasonably friendly and helpful. Depending on the item, the prices can be higher than the average grocery store, and certainly higher than WM but you won't have to wear body armor like you must at Charlotte pk WM either. Good produce, decent selection of most items. Wish they had a better selection of meats, but the ones they do have are good. read more

Probably the nicest Target in the Nashville area. It's target, is there anything else to say? This target has a grocery section like the one on White Bridge Road and I could swear it's slightly larger also, easy enough to get to and located in a suburban shopping center with other suburban box stores. read more

I was searching for a certain brand of hair care products. I was fortunate enough to find the two items here. The Cool Springs location only had one item. So, I drive across town, arrive at the store, and am very pleased to see that the products are actually in stock. I didn't walk around the store, strictly in and out, so can't comment on anything other than this short shopping experience. read more

Target actually had better prices on themed birthday party supplies than Party City did. We went out of our way to get Skylanders decorations and plates, cups, etc at Party City because they were supposedly the only place that stocked them.
