We like Publix stores. This is a good, clean well run store. Lots of fresh well displayed produce, meats, dairy, and on & on. It's a good place to shop. So why a 4? The isles are very narrow, two people is it. And the parking lot is small, so much so that it's a challenge to find a place to park. read more

Publix deli in Eastwood NEVER miss! Everything is always so clean , service is exceptional, & the food is guaranteed to be fresh! I usually get a sub, but I finally tried the hot honey chicken tender salad. The deli workers took their time to craft my salad to perfection. On mine I had spinach as my base, then added tomato, onion, garlic pickles, banana peppers, mushrooms, and had it topped with oregano & a slight drizzle of deli dressing. I got ranch on the side (not really a ranch on salad girl, but I couldn't imagine another dressing with hot honey). I'm telling you, if you enjoy salads, you'd enjoy this one! read more

Publix was new to me when I moved to TN - and I have come to appreciate this easy-to-access location off of Gallatin. With the exception of Turnip Truck, this is the nicest grocery store in East Nashville. That said - it is on the small side, and is often very busy (especially the parking lot). Even still - the cashiers are friendly, and the store is always pretty well stocked. I don't typically shop our entire grocery list at Publix, as it can be a little on the pricey side compared to Kroger or Aldi. However - this is a great stop when you need just a few quick things - and an even better stop when you're in the mood for a tasty sandwich. If you have yet to experience a Pub Sub, you are missing out. I definitely recommend ordering in advance through the app - especially during the lunch rush. Their sandwich station is extremely inefficient. Ordered online, said it would be ready by 1130, showed up, shopped, stood by the sandwich spot for 25 minutes after telling them I was there. Instead they helped every single person in line first prior to making any mobile orders. Multiple people were waiting for their mobile orders as well. Took 35 minutes after it was supposed to be ready. It's simple. Have one person making mobile orders and the rest helping those in line. Do not recommend online ordering. read more

Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals, and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way, it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities where Publix opens a location are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location for that matter and I give it five stars. read more

The subs are UNDEFEATED! The shopping experience is MUCH better than both Kroger's on the same street. The staff is friendly and look to be happy to be working there! Always a great shopping experience! Though the prices / coupons aren't as good as Kroger, it's worth every penny. read more

Good sandwiches with fresh clean ingredients. The deli is understaffed almost everyday and there's always a long line it seems. They also kinda build the sandwiches as if they were trained to make hotdogs.... This place rocks!!! They're always playing today's top 40 hits and its way cheaper than people say. I will say that it would be faster to drive to a publix out of state if you're in the mood for a sandwich. Im not sure if the folks at the deli have ever made a sandwich before, perhaps its a short term memory issue because every time they cut the bread it looks like it might be their first time. This review is about the Meat and 2 in the deli section of this Publix. First off, do you like lots of food for less than any fast food restaurant? For $5.99 you can get a meat and two side dishes. I strolled up in here on my lunch break and got Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and Mac n cheese along with a Hawaiian roll, and it was.....deliciouso! New Publix just opened in East Nashville. It is not the biggest Publix, but has more than enough for everyday needs items such as groceries, household needs. They have fresh deli as well and you can stop by and get fresh fried chicken, sandwiches. Possibly due to just opened, people are looks so busy and we needed to wait little bit to get store person to process our coupons. But other than that, they are very friendly and nice place to shop. read more

Overall this is the best grocery store in East. The prices are on average for the area,well stocked, and the staff generally are available to help or get you checked out. The pharmacy has been the highlight of the store for me every interaction I've had has been pleasant. The parking here is an absolute nightmare, if they hadn't added the Chase or Starbucks it would have been so much better. read more

Their deli department is by far one of the worst deli's I've seen at a Publix. You can order ahead hours beforehand and your item still wouldn't be ready on time. And when you ask about for help, the workers will give an attitude and not even apologize. That's not the Publix way. They just hire anyone and don't instill the Publix tradition into their associates. read more

Deli is a disaster. It's poorly managed. They are always out of things. I order a sub online only to drive to the store 45 minutes later to find out it is not made, because they were out of tenders. Would of been nice to be contacted before I drove up there. Might of ordered something else, but there was a slow moving line. Spend your money at Kroger. I 've always been a big fan of Publix deli and bakery. No complaints with the bakery at this location, however the deli is a complete disaster. Stood at the hot food side for over 10 mins without anyone offering help. I wasn't the only one either, a line of 8 people also waited. I thought subway was slow at making sandwiches, well not nearly as slow as this location. Don't spend your money here. read more

Workers are friendly and the place is clean but they are always out of things you need. Likely too small for such a busy area.

It is 100% cleaner and better stocked than either Kroger in East Nashville. And the staff are 100% more professional and friendlier. The produce area is also much, much better. The demand for this type of grocery store was unfortunately bigger than Publix anticipated and the parking is tight and the entire grocery store is very tight to roll your cart around. Instead of having apartments on the edge of the lot it would have been a better long term investment to have more parking and more SF in the store. read more
