Easter is here, ham everywhere, Easter lilies and flower bouquets for Sunday, egg-shaped pastel butter cream frosted cakes, ready food kits and the like on end caps everywhere. There's little you can't find here. The produce section, wine, meat, seafood, dairy and all other areas provide a veritable food options. We bought some drinks, snacks and breakfast items for this weekend.

What a great store!

What a great store with the most professional employees who go out of their way to assist you during your shopping experience. I don't mind paying a little extra to feel comfortable during these whacko times. Piece of mind goes a lot further then price at this stage of the game. The store is always clean and the staff is again the tops. Thank you to all the staff who have continued to work during Covid. Thank you to all the managers that keep their areas stocked and clean.

The 2 fantastic cakes they created using my hastily scribbled design.

Shout out to Publix bakery on Lebanon Rd. I walked in yesterday with a design scribbled on a piece of paper for 2 cakes and left today with exactly what I had dreamt up! And thanks so much to all the people who helped me out yesterday and today! I'm wound pretty tight and stressed to the nines, but not one of them was a disappointment Customer Service wise. You all are the best and have made a 4 year old's lonely birthday extra special! Extra love to the balloon lady too, who was a pleasure to talk to and had her own adult daughter celebrating a birthday today. :)

A photo of Jack helping us get dog food out of our cart. We love this Publix!

This is the second time that I selected Publix brand delicatessen meat to later discover I was charged for Boar's Head. Pay attention!

While I only recently moved to Donelson, this Publix is by far one of the best I have been to in town!

Dear Trader Joe's Green Hills,…read more I don't know who's in charge over there, but I'd like them to replace every world leader immediately. The United Nations? Dissolved. Congress? Sent home. The DMV? Bulldozed. Trader Joe's Green Hills is now the governing body of civilization. I've never walked into this place and been greeted by someone who looked like they'd rather be anywhere else. Every employee smiles like they just got engaged, won the lottery, and pet a golden retriever on the way to work. It's suspicious. As a child with OCD, I had approximately 47 family members. Officially it was 14 aunts and uncles and four grandmas, but emotionally it felt like 900 relatives. There were houses where I'd rather eat the upholstery than touch the food. Sometimes it was the smell. Sometimes it was the vibe. Sometimes my brain simply declared, "We're fasting today." Then I came to the US, and discovered Trader Joe's. If one of your employees handed me drywall in a toothpick, i would sample it! This store is cleaner than my conscience after returning my shopping cart. I have genuinely considered quitting my career just to work here. Unfortunately, my therapist intervened. I asked why. She said, "Tarek... you'll be fired within a week." "Why?" "Because you're still a menace to society, and you'll spend half your shift flirting with your coworkers and the other half flirting with customers." Corporate is so dramatic. So instead, I remain a costumer romanticizing what could have been. Whenever people visit NashVegas, everyone says, "Let's go to Broadway." Wrong. We're going to Trader Joe's. You're going to experience affordable flowers, tiny shopping carts, free samples, and enough positive human interaction to make you question whether you've accidentally died. I have left this store happier than I've left actual therapy sessions. The only complaint I have, and this physically pains me to write is: PLEASE bring back the Middle Eastern kibbeh. I'm not saying I'll stand outside holding a candlelight vigil, but I'm also not saying I won't. Trader Joe's Green Hills is the only place where I walk in needing grapefruit juice and leave with seventeen items, inner peace, a houseplant, frozen Indian food, three cheeses I can't pronounce(i speak french mind you) l, and the confidence to forgive my enemies. I love every single one of you. If this store ever closes, I'll simply assume the apocalypse has started and act accordingly.

I recently started using Walmart Grocery Pickup, and it has streamlined my grocery shopping. It is…read moreeasy to order online, and pickup is fast and efficient. They typically have what I need in stock, which is very helpful. The only thing I wish they would improve on is the pickup parking lot; better traffic flow or signage would be helpful. Overall, because of the convenience and prompt service, I will continue to take advantage of this service.

For 20 years, this was my go-to Walmart. I was a loyal customer. Not anymore. My lifelong boycott…read morebegins now. Looking for sales on Christmas decorations in late December after the holiday had passed, I found an excellent deal! There was this Santa's Bake Shop inflatable normally priced around $100, but it was about 75% off with "only 2 remaining" as the website touted. Stock was low so I had to act immediately! At roughly $25, this was a nice little bargain. And I could pick it up at the South Nashville location. So I bought it! Two days pass and the item should be ready in South Nashville. Instead, the South Nashville store cancels my order and claims that the item is sold out. What's the purpose of having a button you can press on a website to buy something that is low in stock only to have your order revoked? Is that how online shopping works with Walmart? But it gets worse! A day later, the item reappeared on the Walmart website ... fully in stock ... for $199.99! Say what?! Yup, Walmart is just that greedy. Why make $25 off a customer when you can make $200? And that BUY button on their website? It means absolutely nothing.
