I don't know if this particular marshalls is so desperate for employees that they'll hire anyone but the disgusting childish behavior of the employees is repulsive. I live about 2 minutes from this marshalls and everytime i come in there is a new employee that acts like a jerk. I think management should review and i don't know maybe MANAGE the behavior of their beloved employees. read more

3 stars for shady location .. however yesterday I found a pretty nativity scene for Christmas . The lines were very long ... like wrapped around long . No vacation of mine is complete without a trip to Marshall's. I stopped in to buy a few things and I left with a whole lot more. My first find was a bottle of Oscar de la Renta perfume. I spotted some Crabtree and Evelyn hand cream and grabbed two. While I was waiting on line I grabbed a box of Harry and David Signature Truffles. The line moved quickly and the staff were super nice. I went to the store for back to school clothes and when I had about 4 things I wanted to try some on but the lady at the changing rooms said "you need to be over 18 or you can get you mom to go with you" to try on some clothes? I'm 17 and I drove there myself I had a job to pay for these clothes why tf wouldn't I be able to try them on and why would I need my mom??? I put down my clothes and walked tf out. I don't frequent Marshall - only when I need something urgent and can't wait for delivery. For the most part, my shopping experience with Marshall was all right. The store need to be a bit more organized, but nothing major. I still manage to find what I need. How come the lone star? A few weeks ago, I was in the store for some quick items. There was this senior citizen trying to fit some clothes. After a brief visit to the fitting room, the senior citizen was trying to hand back the clothes that didn't fit her to the fitting room attendant. What I usually see in other stores was the fitting room attendant taking the clothes from the customer and the customer can move on - but not on that day at Marshall. The fitting room attendant was very loud, RUDE and refused to taking the clothes, unless the senior citizen fold the clothes or put the clothes back on a hanger. Thankfully, the manager came over and defused the situation. The senior citizen didn't have to fold back the clothes or place the clothes on a hanger. One thing that the fitting room attendant was ignorant of, was the fact that retail business can only survive by providing customer service - something that was missing from online shopping experience. It will be difficult for brick and mortar business, like Marshall, to compete in price with online stores. I can even argue that Best Buy survives because they provide better service to their customer than online electronic retailer do. At this point, I believe Walmart has a better customer service than Marshall; and Walmart customer service is already an ultra low bar. If Marshall is determine to keeping such employees in their payroll, Marshall can expect to sharing the same list as Circuit City. For my part, I will skip Marshall and go to Walmart next time. read more

As far as the department store clearance centers go, this one is dang good! I'm usually not a fan of the TJMaxx, Ross, Marshall's, Filene's Basement type of places, but this location actually does it right. The store is well-stocked, the employees are helpful and friendly and the brands are quite impressive. I landed some ridiculously low priced shirts. Dig a little, because some of the prices for the exact same things are priced differently. I was surprised at the selection of weird things like bike locks, helmets and nose-hair trimmers. If you're going to Marshall's shop, go here! read more

I like Marshalls but my children love Marshalls! I take my time and browse the home section while they head straight for the shoes and clothing! I have found an occasional deal here from time to time but my children can't leave without a purchase. They always score something! I like the discounted linens and bath towels. Handbag deals are hit and miss here. I do not like that they don't offer jewelry at this location and the kitchen section is scarce. Really this is a small everything store. I have been to larger ones. Staff are basically non-existent here until you check out but they are friendly enough. Really have no complaints regarding staff or store, it's just a game of find a deal when you shop at a discount store like this. No particular organization to sections, just a hodgepodge of items to sift through. Happy hunting! read more

As with all my visits to Marshalls, I always ended up buying more than intended. This time, especially, I was extremely satisfied with all my purchases. I was looking particularly for some faux flowers and plants to brighten up my just-moved-in apartment. I checked out a couple of places, online and instore, but didn't have much success. The employee of World Market, a store nearby, suggested that we should check out Marshalls since it's right next door, so we gave it a try without hoping much. Turned out they have quite a good selection of decorative pieces, flowers and plants specifically. I ended up getting 5 medium sized faux pots with plants/flowers and paid about $40 for them in total. We also came across an area rug that is really simple yet chic and ONLY $15, so hell yeah! Overall, you can run into very good bargains at Marshalls. read more

This Marshalls has a little bit better selection than some of the others in the area...I really enjoyed myself shopping here and you can always find something!!!!! Make sure you check out every area for the stuff that will be marked down. Stock up for holidays things like Soaps, Socks, Scarves, housewears, wallets, oh it is just so wonderful to go here....I am doing my happy dance right now just thinking about it! read more

I love shopping at TJ Maxx and Marshall's. It always feels like a treasure hunt and I usually end up spending more time and money than planned. Yesterday, I stopped in at the Nashville West Marshall's to pick up a few things for a baby shower. As usual, that led to finding more treasures...a few candle holders, a picture frame and some other small items. I couldn't resist a stop in the shoe department. The aisles are quite narrow so I left my cart at the end of the aisle while trying on shoes. After spending a few minutes trying on shoes, I walked back toward my cart with 2 new shiny pairs to take home. Much to my surprise, my cart was gone. I walked around for a few minutes and asked the fitting room attendant if they moved my cart but she didn't know. I then found another worker who seemed to be a manager and asked if she had seen my cart or knew if someone moved it. She said they don't move carts and asked where I left it. I told her I had been trying on shoes for 5 or 10 minutes and she said "10 minutes! You shouldn't leave your cart unattended for that long!"...instead of doing ANYTHING to help. I mean...she did not offer any type of assistance whatsoever...I was shocked. I walked around for a few more minutes and a sweet young man asked if I needed a buggy. I told him I had one but it was gone. He then told me he was instructed to move the cart and return all of the items to their departments. He was very sweet and helped me find almost all of my treasures but a couple of things were already gone. I really appreciated his help and I know he was only doing what he was instructed to do. BUT they should not move someone's cart after only 10 minutes. read more

Marshall's has the dumbest policy ever I'm trying to exchange an item which is five dollars like no big deal...(I didn't have my receipt)they asked for a ID (I don't have my drivers license with me) I hand them my A. Registration card( and yes I am now a citizen. mashalla..! this is a card I had lost and just recently found) which has a picture And yes I have my card that was used while purchasing which I even told them you can just give it on a Marshall's card or I'll just exchange it out.. They said we can't accept this Bc it doesn't have your address blah blah .. ok I have a picture of my Drivers license ... they said no .. it has to be physical ?! Lmao bruh it's five dollars.. chill . I shop at this Marshall's allllll the time I swear I go there more than 2 times a week just for candles lol..?! Im so pissed and dying of laughter at the same time Bc this is literally a $4.99 item. I'm just so confused lol But overall I do love this Marshall's is always very clean and the customer service is great. I understand why they couldn't do this return or exchange it's the policy.. which I think there should be some changes made by the corporate Bc when a item is literally 5 bucks I don't think it is fair to a customer when they just lost their id or whatever .. read more
